You said you don't have much respect for UN workers whilst we're discussing their murders.

Most people agree that killing press and aid workers in war is illegal and morally reprehensible. As is killing civilians. But a lot of posters here can justify all of the above when it's happening to Gazans.

I said I see their deaths as no different from the other deaths. A life is a life. Nobody is more important because of their job. I think most decent people will actually agree on that.

Either way a life lost is a life lost their job or heritage is irrelevant in that seems.

You might not have respect for them or think murdering UN workers or journalists is a big deal but most decent people in the world would disagree with you.

As they have so many employees and I believe are part of the UN death count. Plus some have been reported by hostages as being involved in keeping them captive, it does make sense some will have also been killed because a few are definitely Hamas members/supporters it seems. So likely to be in a place targeted. However that is still a large number of UN deaths.

In general I see UN and journalist deaths as not any different from other deaths. A life is a life and a lot of the UN employees and Journalists are Gazen with their own families living in Gaza. I don't know if the numbers are available for who is Gazen born or a Palestinian refugee etc but that would solve a pondering of mine. Nothing means I have much respect for the UN or its workers either. They lost my respect years ago and the whole Iran/hijab / women's rights committee thing didn't exactly win my opinion back

I did think that a grown adult believing that the UN produce rockets and store them in UN labelled boxes ready for the IDF to find and photograph was preposterous and ridiculous yes, but some people around here will believe anything.

I don't find killing over a hundred UN staff funny though, and I find your rhetoric about them dangerous and disturbing. I'll hold my judgment on the post above because "a UN employee apparently" posted on mumsnet isn't compelling evidence.
