You lot carry on in your echo chamber where no balance is allowed. You’ll change no minds, in fact you’re just talking to yourselves. Most of us can see both sides, it’s perfectly acceptable to want Israeli citizens to be able to live in peace and not be randomly murdered by fundamentalists and mourn the death of innocent Palestinian children, women, old people etc who have essentially been taken hostage by their own leaders. Life in Gaza, ruled by religious extremists who are happy to murder gay and trans folk, anybody who doesn’t agree with their religious fervour isn’t good at the best of times. How do you intend to get rid of these criminals?

It’s not even just Palestinians involved in violence that are described in this way. On the March against antisemitism thread people who attend the weekly ceasefire protests have been described as “uncivilized’, “yobs” etc. This is a generalized description - not just applied to those accused of carrying anti semitic signs /posters. It’s language intended to dehumanize and ‘other’.

This. I do find it interesting that the role of terrorism in the creation of the state of Israel is often overlooked by pro- Israeli / Zionists who justify the war on Gaza.

These were armed groups who committed barbaric atrocities against Palestinian civilians. I would be interested to know if any pro- Israeli posters are prepared to condemn these Zionist terror groups. If not, why ?

Your post did not say Hamas, it stated - Ceasefire is over now anyway so they can get back to eliminating the scumbags - as IDF pounds gaza with more rocket fire, people can be forgiven for thinking the scumbags you were referring to were the people of Gaza, maybe be more specific next time if you don't want to be called out or reported for your posts

No death is ok. I just feel like people minimise what Palestinians are going through. It's all about focussing on Israeli deaths (obviously awful) with zero acknowledgement of Palestinian deaths.

Definitely. I reported it as it's not needed and is a staggering disrespect to civilian lives. However, sometimes I think it should be left to stand so everyone can see the sort of hate that is spewed out when so many will die in the midst of a humanitarian crisis.

About 4-5 days ago IDF said a 'figure between 1000 and 10000' - understand that this sort of meaningless twaddle is just par for the course in wars but obv more important here wrt issue of proportionality

Plus they've fired rockets at Israel as well now. They can't even stick to a ceasefire themselves so not sure why half of Europe are bleating on about a ceasefire for gaza

Hamas in their disgusting and cowardly attack, killed 1400, Israel has killed, so far, 15,000 people, inc 5000 children, displaced 2m people, now with little food, no housing, no medical services, 100k injured.

They also show no signs of limiting, let alone stopping.
