“Pause” ends tomorrow. Anyone else filled with dread ?

Just that really. I’ve felt such relief the past couple of days that my phone won’t be filled with a constant stream of murdered Palestinian kids and wailing parents. That all ends tomorrow and I have such a sense of foreboding even though I’m safe and comfortable thousands of miles away. I can’t begin to imagine the dread the Palestinians in Gaza must be feeling tonight knowing their genocide resumes tomorrow. When will it end 😞

Why is it that when someone criticises Israel, you feel the need to counteract it with criticism of hamas. Like its going to offend us. Most of those accusing israel will also agree hamas are abhorrent.

Actually not imprisoned for two years she was sentenced to more, shes being released early today.

Hamas will not be allowed to extend the temporary ceasefire indefinitely by releasing a couple of kidnap victims every few days. In the end, it is more important for Israel to destroy the psychopathic rabble of Hamas than it is to save every last hostage; they cannot allow Hamas time to regroup and re-arm as they prepare for the next outrage.

Note the only genocide being attempted is that of the Jews, by Hamas. Commenters who claim otherwise are merely anti-Semitic propagandists.

Agree. Even during the "pause" all Gazans were doing was finding pieces and limbs of their loved ones. While waiting for Israels next set of atrocities.

Did anyone see Dr Ghassan Sittas press conference? Heartbreakingly awful. Israel has outdone even itself in its violence towards Palestinians.

I didn't feel any more relieved when this "pause" was announced. I think it's clear that the Israeli government will resume their heavy bombing and will probably increase it!

When I said something to the same effect on the antisemitism thread, asking why people aren't this offended by islamaohobia I got asked if I'm the type that would say "all lives matter" during the BLM marches
