He said under no circumstances will they allow a third party to ensure security in Gaza but the IDF will do it
The only way i see out of it, is if after the war Netanyahu goes and the next PM has different views

I have just seen this about Al Aqsa hospital
No wonder its so overwhelmed
I think generally people judge the situation according to the death toll when the injury toll is much much higher and really shows the bigger picture

In an update, the health ministry says 73 bodies and 123 injured people were taken at the al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza in the past day.

And now the US House of Representatives has voted that any criticism of Zionism will be considered to be anti-Semitic and presumably hate speech. Thus presumably attempting to silence any such criticism for the steps to come.

The fact that the US has taken the step of publicly telling Israel that it shouldn’t occupy Gaza after the conflict suggests to me that behind the scenes they think Israel is planning to do exactly that. Murder people and steal their land. If they do that what’ll be their next step on their path to creating “Greater Israel”? They are extremely bloody dangerous.

I can’t believe it. It’s blatant murder murder murder right in front of everyone. And still the vile but utterly ludicrous excuses are coming thick and fast. When will the US put a stop to it?

Sky news have just reported this about Al Aqsa hospital which is in Central Gaza

Despite this, it said fuel and medical supplies had reached "critically low levels" due to road closures preventing them being delivered.
"Al Aqsa hospital has been receiving on average 150 to 200 war-wounded patients daily since 1 December," it said.
"We are running out of essential supplies to treat them," Marie-Aure Perreaut Revial, the organisation's emergency coordinator in Gaza, added.
"Shortages of medicine and fuel could result in the hospital being unable to provide lifesaving surgeries or intensive care.
"Without electricity, ventilators would cease to function, blood donations would have to stop, the sterilisation of surgical instruments would be impossible."

Since yesterday the situation in the hospitals have severely deteriorated
I finally went on to some of my socials and I couldn't believe what I was seeing
Within the last 48 hours there has been an acceleration in injuries
Forget beds, An-Nassar hospital is running out of floor space where children are being treated.
Surely such conditions will greatly increase the spread of infection

And reports of attacks on the Kamal Adwan hospital in the north which has led to some deaths. I think the courtyard was struck

Yes it will probably eventually be discussed in the same tones as the genocides in Bosnia and Rwanda. Oh dear, we should have done something about that at the time.

Hand wringing after the fact is of little use to people whose lives are being destroyed as we speak.

I feel the civilians in Gaza have more or less been abandoned.

I can see in years to come there will be discussions of 'mistakes' that could have been avoided but what use will it be for those who are now dead or the living whose lives will never be the same again

Reuters journalists have reported seeing injured people arriving by ambulance, car, flatbed truck and donkey cart.
Survivors said a strike hit a school being used as a shelter for the displaced.

Almost every inch of floor space was taken up by the wounded.
A doctor carried the limp body of a small boy in a tracksuit, placing him in a corner.
On the floor next to him, a wounded boy and girl lay surrounded by discarded bandages and rubber gloves.
Two young girls covered in dust were being treated, with one sobbing: "My parents are under the rubble. I want my mum, I want my mum, I want my family."
Outside the hospital, men carried corpses in shrouds to be taken away for funerals.
Around a dozen bodies lay on the ground.

They are now reporting from An-Nassar hospital and its just as bad

Its being said that although Israel said that the strikes and attack in the south will take more care when it comes to civilians, this hasn't been the case
The attacks are just as ferocious as the North and these people are trapped with nowhere safe to go

I've just seen some horrific footage of people killed and injured (mostly small children from the short amount of footage I could bear to watch) after the Maen school of UNRWA in Khan Younis was targeted. Displaced people were sheltering there. A horrendous crime.

The injuries coming in have been really bad. I have only seen An nassar hospital mentioned in the news. Are there any other functioning hospitals in the south or in Khan Younis?

There has also been a disagreement with the Israeli government and WHO in regards to emptying warehouses designated for medical supplies.

I'm not sure what to believe right now. If the warehouses do get attacked it would be disastrous

The World Health Organisation's executive board has called an emergency session to discuss the health crisis in Gaza and the West Bank, with the Palestinian envoy seeking more medical aid and access for foreign healthcare workers.
The WHO announced today it had received a request from 15 countries to hold the session, which will be convened on 10 December by Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in consultation with the Qatari chair.
The Palestinian ambassador to the UN in Geneva, Ibrahim Khraishi, said the meeting would focus mostly on Gaza, engulfed by war between its Hamas rulers and Israel, but also cover attacks on the health sector in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
"We want to empower the WHO and call for the Israeli side not to target the medical sector. We want to allow for fresh medical supplies," he said, adding that his diplomatic mission was drafting a motion to be reviewed by the board.
"One idea is to send more doctors in from around the world," he added, saying many countries had offered.
Only a fraction of Gaza's hospitals remain operational due to Israeli bombings and a lack of fuel, and those that are still functioning are increasingly overwhelmed by a new wave of wounded arriving.
A WHO database shows there have been 427 attacks on healthcare facilities in Palestinian territories since the 7 October cross-border Hamas attack on Israel, and the latter's retaliatory aerial blitz and invasion of Gaza. The database does not detail who is seen as responsible for the attacks.
Israel has accused Hamas of using ordinary Gazans as human shields by placing command centres and weapons inside hospitals and other civilian buildings.
The WHO has also warned of spreading disease which it said could kill more people than bombardments in Gaza - with diarrhoea cases among children rising to about 100 times normal levels.
