@Efacsen the last I saw Al Amal hospital was still under siege two days ago, there was shelling in the vicinity of the hospital and anyone who tried to leave was sniped.
I'm trying to see if I can find an update for today

The WHO Chief posted this which includes footage of the total carnage in Al Nasser hospital. It's beyond belief how a hospital can barely operate in such conditions

@Toothyfruity that's terrible. Situation at An Nasser hospital is also really bad. There's heavy airstrikes near it and it's too dangerous to try and reach a cemetery to bury the dead. Reports today show graves being dug on the hospital grounds to bury those who have died

I heard an interview with the Israeli ambassador to Ireland blaming Hamas for Israel's attacks on Red Crescent ambulances and blatantly lying about Isrsel blocking aid from coming in. And lots of other lies.

It's depressing at this stage listening to diplomats speaking absolute nonsense and lies to justify the continued genocide of Palestinians.

There has been intense airstrikes in Khan Younis overnight. I have seen videos where the inured and dead are arriving at the hospitals in make shift carts because the ambulances can't reach them

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the agency’s ambulances are unable to reach the injured in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, as Israeli forces are “besieging” the PRCS’s ambulance centre and “targeting anyone attempting to move in the area”.
The PRCS said earlier this morning that Israeli tanks were nearing al-Amal city hospital in Khan Younis and that it had lost all contact with its team in the area due to the ground offensive.

There's also been reports of a worrying increase of Hepatitis A and jaundice. Which doesn't help with the lack of aid and facilities to treat it

It's a very upsetting topic and i don't think anyone wishes ill on either side. It is a really sad situation for all involved and I hope it all comes to a end soon.

So Parking gets a thanks for the additional information and I get a lecture on not displaying sympathy and empathy (for the right thing apparently as determined by you, as I apparently should have shown it for those who were buried and not for those undergoing surgery with only g&a) in every single one of my posts? Where is your sympathy for the hostages that were held there and are possibly buried there? I didn't see you show any in your recent posts? Would it be helpful if I started pulling you up on it every time you haven't displayed sympathy for Israel, Israelis and/or the hostages? Or would it be an utterly ridiculous and immature thing for me to do?

I'm sorry I didn't display enough sympathy or empathy for your liking. I feel like you're purposely misconstruing my comment though to try and start an argument and score some kind of point. I'm not interested in any kind of argument about this though as there isn't really much to argue about as I don't disagree that it's incredibly sad that it's come to this.

Previously posters on this board were accused of lying for saying that the Gazans have been recording and showing footage of the IDF bulldozing graveyards and leaving them in a horrific state. We were told that these are false accusations against the IDF.
After they leave, the Gazans have been going back and trying to identify which parts belong to which corpses and then finding a place to try and re-bury the dead.
Even if the IDF believe it a necessity to try and identify killed hostages, I can't understand why they would leave the graveyards in such a state with the utmost disrespect to the deceased and their families.
According to the CNN, they have identified 16 cemeteries which have now been damaged or parts of it bulldozed

Nasser hospital is the one that released hostage Sharon Cuoni says her and up to 30 hostages were held in, so it's not impossible that they will find bodies of hostages nearby.

I'm not going to comment on anything else to do with hospitals in Gaza, I just recognised that name of the hospital from when I read this interview the other day so thought it was worth a mention.

Edited to add: as in, I'm not trying to minimise anything that the people of Gaza are going through at the moment. Obviously having surgery with just g&a is absolutely horrendous. I'm not trying to get in to arguments with anyone about it or trying to justify anything. I'm just stating that the intelligence shows hostages at the very least have been held there even if they're not anymore.

That is horrific. I watched a interview with a doctor yesterday who said the situation is unlikely anything she has ever experienced. She said they no longer even have pain relief at times for dying children, so the most they can do is sit with them and comfort them in their last moments
