Hamas has released some hostages
Although different sites are declaring different numbers so I don’t know how accurate this is.

The Red Cross are seeking information from Israel re some of their medical staff
Have they become hostages ?
There is no news on the director of Al -Shifa either?

Or- the fact there is any mediation happening is good news. The more talking the more hope. The status quo has changed again - and with change comes some hope.

This was a great deal for Israel, not so much for Palestinians.
And the Israeli goverment said that even if they het all the hostages back, it will not make any difference on bombing/killing Palestinians..

And like I said, they didn’t even get all of the aid in…

It will make no difference at all.
There is a grand plan for Gaza and it doesn’t include the Palestinians.
Irrespective of hostage release.
However, Once the agreed number of hostages are released the bombing and shootings will be far worse than we have seen so far.

Its like waiting for death…it’s inevitable.

@Kaffeebitte yes it's hard not to think of those where there was clear social media evidence that they had been abducted.

Can I ask if they found her boyfriend? He was being frogmarched off by gunmen as she was put on the bike.

As Israel aren’t releasing ‘soldiers’ my thoughts are that Hamas won’t either, not so early on anyway.

Oh thank god, its obviously awful for adults too but very different for the children. I hate thinking about how scared they must be.

No idea if there are journalists in Gaza to verify the siting of drones flying over

Hopefully all of this has now been resolved

@Reba767 i hope Abigail and Emily are released today.

Abigail was taken by Hamas after they murdered her mum and dad. I believe her dad was holding her at the time. She has two siblings who hid for 12 hours.

I am hopeful for all hostages to be released from both sides.
One little girl who is stuck in my mind is 9 year old Emily who's dad was told she was killed and then it was realised she was being held hostage.His interviews are truly heartbreaking 💔 Emily doesn't have a mother as she passed away when she was younger. She was at a sleepover when she was taken.
I really hope he's reunited with his daughter 💕
