Well of course and Israel will deny it. Which is why we need a mediated ceasefire and release of all hostages. The violence has to
stop it serves no purpose whatsoever - it certainly doesn’t help Israel destroy Hamas and has a negative impact on getting the hostages released .

Whether or not they died in an airstrike, it was entirely inevitable and predictable that Hamas would indeed claim that.

Of course they could have been killed in air strikes - 1000s and 1000s of people have been killed and I’m sure some of the hostages will have been. It’s possible we will never know.

Why kill them? They were good assets for them to exchange them for Palestinians in Israel’s prisons. To me it makes 0 sense to kill your hostages when you’re trying to exchange them

To say 'look what evil Israel did,' to attempt to divide public opinion in Israel, or the family had already been killed by their captors, perhaps on October 7th.

Or they are not actually dead and it is all just a cruel game.

I can believe that the family are dead but, if so, I'll bet it was Hamas or another group who murdered them. They know this particular family have the greatest PR value, so are either lying about the deaths or the manner of death.

Why kill them? They were good assets for them to exchange them for Palestinians in Israel’s prisons. To me it makes 0 sense to kill your hostages when you’re trying to exchange them

The article did not say this happened - Hamas said this happened. I highly doubt they perished in this way.

They said he, Ariel and their mother. They could prove it by releasing his father and the bodies.

I don't trust them at all.

IDF looking into it. Until Israel confirms, I’m holding hope. They reported chana katzir as dead and she was released. There is a chance this is further psychological warfare.

the news site that reported her release didn't mention this.

Apart from that I have been following general
updates on how they have campaigned non stop for their loved ones and i have alot of respect for their perseverance in doing so (obviously not breaking the law though)
