So all Israelis get conscripted at age 18 for 2-4 years is that right ? Does it get delayed if in ft education? Is this why none of the girls aged around 19-30 are being released? Or perhaps they are negotiating for the release of mothers first?

Yes local stringers - there was footage of them accompanying the attack and one with a grenade. Subsequently at least one killed in an airstrike to the usual howls of outrage about Israel "targetting the press".

Well I know, it was said to be a lie etc etc - but these Palestinian reporters somehow happened to be there in the early morning when the attacks happened. I can imagine what would the press have said if it was the other way round.

Yes, read the UK's statements when it put Hamas on the list of terrorists organisation - it is an awful organisation.

I see Hamas also made at least one hostage child watch violent footage - that is exactly what ISIS did to children when trying to terrorise them or make them child soldiers - the Hamas and ISIS have a very different view of how to treat children from most other people.

I just had a quick look at Israel's channel 13 but unfortunately it doesn't have English subtitles so I couldn't understand it. However there were photographs on the screen of Kfir, Ariel, Aisha and her Brother Bilal so I have a nasty feeling all 4 of them are supposed to be dead.

Aisha is definitely not on the list for tonight.

I think it would've been mentioning those are the children still in Gaza

The doctor was described as "Hamas doctor". I wrote on here quite a few times - Hamas rules EVERYTHING in Gaza, they are teachers, doctors, journalists, you name it. A lot of them are educated, and a lot are educated in the West/ on Western grants. However, this does not make them any less extremist. And all the "peaceful citizens" dancing on the streets and celebrating 7th October - they not only support Hamas, but also most of them have relatives who are members. This "peaceful citizens" tried to lynch hostages when they were being released, ffs. The naivety of people thinking Hamas is some sort of a partisan organisation not connected to civilians in Gaza is staggering. Sadly, Hamas IS Gaza.

I agree. Some/many in the west appear quite naive and some think hamas are fluffy, misunderstood young men and women that just want to live in peace (obviously difficult knowing their expressed aim is to eradicate any Israeli people).

Hamas are really good at propaganda and pr though.

Indeed all those innocent people holding hostages, complicite in kidnap. Thats quite a bit of support for terrorists. Or maybe they are forced to do it by hamas. I don't know but I think hamas have more support that many believe or realise.

The Red Cross woman seems utterly fearless. If anyone sees any info about her anywhere I’d be so interested . She was right in the middle of the crowds in the clip I just saw and was entirely focused on the two women.

I just read about Bibas family. My god, I hope its not true.

Also - wanted to say how much I was disgusted by Emily being descibed as "lost and now found". Fucking beggars belief....
