this thread is to document the racist, criminal and dehumanizing behaviour by the most “moral army in the world” both during its most recent bombardment of Gaza and across decades of military occupation in the West Bank. to start, here is a video of Israeli soldiers chanting they will turn Gazans into Kebabs. @Brumbies I'm not sure if you saw this but I would be worried about promoting someone who on the one hand stands up for anti-semitism but then also reposts tweets like this which I assume you don't agree with

Not sure why we bother what someone has to say about this thread on Twitter to be honest. I really don’t care. I care more about the proven torture many Palestinians have gone through and hope this stops any time soon

Yes I saw this. What's their excuse for terrorising the West Bank? Hamas isn't there and there's no "terrorist tunnels" or "command base" there.

I think so. I've seen mention on BBC News of a day being added as more hostages are released. Which says to me it'll be back to terrorising Gaza afterwards. Maybe I'm too cynical but this doesn't really improve the situation of Gazan civilians at all.

@EasterIssland exactly. I'm glad hostages are going home, ofcourse! But I'm also saddened that the civilians in oalestine will have literally a little breathing space and then back to be massacred. I have just seen another little girl being wrapped up by her father. He waits for as long as possible so he can kiss her and look at her for the last time. I'm sat in tears after this. Because I see my children in these children. It physically hurts. So I can't imagine the actual real pain of this happening as a mother.

I haven't seen this but from what you say it's heartbreaking. Brings me to tears whenever I see these images.

It looks like mediation was a success and the humanitarian pause for exchange of hostages and prisoners will be announced in the next 24 hours.

go make another thread bashing young Palestinian children. What kind of democracy is Israel pretending to be because the indefinite prison sentence and no support does not happen in an actual democratic country.

the amount of crap these children have seen and been put through. Killing their families in front of them, taking their homes, controlling their every move but you know this and still condone it.

hamas will be replaced by the new generation Israel is unfortunately creating.

JERUSALEM, November 24, 2022 (WAFA) – The European Union called today on the Israeli occupation authorities to immediately end the solitary confinement of Palestinian prisoner Ahmad Manasra, and to allow him access to badly needed psychological counselling and support.“Today, the EU and some Member States attended Ahmad Manasra’s hearing. The Court extended his one year-long solitary confinement for another 4 months. The UN stipulates solitary confinement beyond 15 days constitutes torture,” the EU office in Palestine said in a tweet.The EU added, “Appeal to Israeli authorities to end his solitary confinement immediately & ensure he receives the necessary psychological counselling & support. Given serious internaitonal concerns about fair trial standards & due process in this case, we call on Israeli authorities to urgently release him”.Manasra was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in 2015 when he was only 13 years after shooting him and his cousin Hassan, who was killed instantly.Ahmad Manasra’s mental health has worsened during his incarceration. In October 2021 an independent Israeli clinical psychologist working with Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) diagnosed him with severe psychiatric conditions, and stated these had developed since his incarceration.Ahmad Manasra’s parents said in February 2022 that their son had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and that he is suffering from psychotic delusions, and is severely depressed with suicidal thoughts.

And importantly,

He had not committed the crime he was accused of in the first place.

I wonder how Israel treats Israeli imprisoned children? ( This is a question, as I don’t know.)
