What their official charter says and what their leaders say and do are very different things, as you well know. Unless you think calling the 7th of October a rehearsal is them saying "we just want to live in peace". Them and their supporters have called for global Jihad and Intifada more than once in recent months. My child's primary school had to double up their already doubled up security because of the calls for global Jihad.

I realise I'm now inevitably going to get a lesson in what the literal meanings of Jihad and Intifada are, but we all know that in the context of the Palestinians they have different meanings from the literal ones. Although I'm sure you'll plead ignorance and claim that's not the case at all. And then you'll keep spreading your hatred of Israel and your support for the eradication of the state. That's what you're supporting by not denouncing Hamas.

No one doubts that Hamas are terrorists. To their own people as well as others. I believe they may have started with a genuine freedom ideology but these groups almost always get taken over by gangsters and criminals.

Of course the Palestinians want the genicide of Jews. They don’t want a two state situation. They openly say they want Jews wiped out of Israel. And the vast majority do not and will not support Palestine over Israel, no matter how much you twist the facts to meet your own narrative. If Hamas want to sort this without the bombing, then stop hiding behind their people, using them as shields. The Palestinians are also victims of Hamas, and need to be outing them. Their deaths are absolutely the fault of the cowardly savages Hamas. Fact.

It's not the genocide of Jews everywhere they want, please stop this false narrative. Regardless, they are a terrorist group. I'm going to be honest and say that after the horrendous unnecessary deaths and destruction we've seen, it's hard not to feel that Israel are the real terrorists here. The aim does not seem to be to eradicate Hamas, it is to cause death to the Palestinians. Combined with their track record of appalling treatment of Palestinians over the last 75 years and the actual words of the government it very much comes across as genocidal intent. If you gave someone who had zero knowledge of the situation the stats of deaths, homes destroyed, injuries of two sides, then wrote down what the government's have said, and asked them to identify which side are the terrorist group, I think the vast majority of people would choose Israel. And I don't see it as a 'propaganda war', it's just cold hard facts. In this day and age of social media it's harder for any government to make statements and people just accept it as the truth. The images of Gaza will haunt people for years to come, and we should never let it be forgotten 💔

So it seems from this that it was actually posted then withdrawn by X.

Yeah but that is nowhere on his X feed. So it's either fake propaganda or he posted that and deleted it. The font looks different from normal X fonts but I don't know much about it

@Humdingerydoo if you open the link @eester sent, the photo used on Instagram is the same photo in the article.

Based on Google translate and the fact he is quoting some kind of biblical verse, then no he did not say that. At least not in the screenshot. The Instagram post seems to have completely changed what the original post says. That means it's either fake propaganda or it means he posted the same thing twice but with two completely different captions.

I wouldn't take anything the middle east eye say at face value. I would make sure to double-check any of their claims, assuming you want the truth.
