I'm sure you're right, @EasterIssland . Hamas didn't really attack Israel, and everything they did was absolutely fine! Honestly, they were just lovely on the day. Everything reported since has been a gross exaggeration. This sort of thing, for example, is just made up.

A new investigation by Israel's Kan News revealed that dozens of Israelis lied claiming that they attended the Nova music festival on October 7 to earn dozens of thousands of Shekels as compensation.

The investigation stated that the individuals in question presented false evidence claiming that they were victims of the Palestinian resistance.

That's a misrepresentation. Months ago, I provided a lot of detail around the reality of security intelligence, but I'm not surprised to see misrepresentations still occur.

In a nutshell, intelligence agencies receive so many reports daily that its NOT a case of looking for a needle in a haystack.

It's actually a case of looking for the needle on a stack of needles that can cause immediate harm. In amongst all that will be false reports.

It's a constant process of evaluation of risk levels. Intelligence is NOT an exact science and laypersons routinely misunderstand it as well as attribute nefarious intentions since they overestimate intelligence services' capabilities.

But if we are speculating, Hamas are the ones who knew the attack was coming so would be suspects no. 1, right?
