What is the deal with the violence in West Bank ?

There are alot of issues in the west bank. That video that was shared above was horrific. There's so much wrong and alot that needs to be addressed on both sides for a peaceful co-existence to take place

I see David Austerity Cameron has tweeted his condemnation of the killing of Palestinians in the West Bank.

Clever politics given that 70% support a ceasefire now. He is very nimble and has made Starmer look foolish and Labour divides. Actually he would be expelled from Labour for this. We have gone through the Looking Glass now.

I don't care which terrorist group did it, it's still utterly vile, and people were cheering them on and filming it which is the worst thing. Why TF would ordinary people film it? I noted some palestinian commentators on Twitter saying it was actually ordinary palestinians who did it and they can't seem to understand why that would make it even worse if true.

That’s a very polite way to refer to the violent, extortionist terrorist groups who murder, injure and terrorise both the Palestinian and Israeli populations and actively work to destroy any hopes of peaceful coexistence, justice and self-determination for Palestinians. But thank you for that information- I was unaware they existed.

The Times of Israel is not reporting Hamas did this:
“Members of Palestinian armed groups executed two men in the West Bank city of Tulkarem Friday night accused of collaborating with Israel, as a mob cheered them on, according to Palestinian reports.”

Virtually everyone involved is a victim. Israelis, Palestinians...they're people like you and me..they have been focused on their families and their livelihoods and schooling. They don't want war.

Please stop trying to group people into cohorts to align with your narrative.

War is mass murder organised almost always by psychopathic men and never by ordinary people who value life.

@ItsRainingTacos79 I think it's very significant that Levy openly states this. It is basically saying that they will continue building settlements and do what they like in the WB, because it is now Israel. There's a disjunct between this open claim and western politicians talking about negotiating 2 state solutions and fair settlement. Any time a commentator suggests 2 states it needs to be said, this government has already taken the WB - they think it is theirs.

Might not be a bad idea if Hamas is removed from the West Bank either.

A different kind of violence in the West Bank tonight as Hamas (who supposedly are not in the WB) have executed two alleged "Israeli spies" and strung them up from electricity pylons in front of cheering crowds in the Town of Tulkurem.

Has Israel said it will stop rounding up and imprisoning civilians in the West Bank during the truce? Have armed settlers agreed to stop attacking people and throwing them off their land?

Indeed, @notsoready4school . Incredibly deceptive. Hamas are asking their friends elsewhere to fight Israel on their behalf during the ceasefire. Luckily there's no Hamas in the West Bank so it won't be a problem, right?

This is why I get so annoyed when people say Hamas broke the ceasefire that was in place. There wasn’t one. There wasn’t a war in place but neither a ceasefire
