People who don't support ceasefire

There was a thread about this that was rightly deleted. The implications of having a Jewish wife...?! Controlling a politician...? I'm not Jewish, and like him am an adult with the capacity to form my own views.

Genuinely curious. If you don't think Israel should have gone into Gaza, how exactly do you propose they go about eliminating Hamas?

Is entirely possible to not support a ceasefire and also not support bombing Gaza. But then you'd have to be open to complex discussions, and too many people are currently too hung up on being on one side of the other. On that basis much of the debate is as polarised, and therefore as bad, as the situation they are discussing.

They're the opposite of racist. They believe that it's not a good idea to let Jews be killed and the Jewish homeland destroyed. And so when an anti-semitic organisation seeks to do that, they won't just sit around and let themselves be tortured/killed/raped.

Demands for a ceasefire that will just be refused won’t help Palestinians.

Hamas are terrorists and have never and will never respect a ceasefire. Their stated aim and purpose is to wipe out the Jews and set up a caliphate. They will use any ceasefire to regroup, gather their weapons and launch more attacks.

Hamas are responsible for the heavy casualties of the Palestinians, they have stated how wonderful it is to be a martyr, how ‘progress’ can’t be made without sacrifice, and that they are willing to sacrifice the Palestinians for their above stated aims.

When asked why they didn’t build a single bomb shelter for the civilians of Gaza or share their stores of food, water, medical supplies, fuel, or open their tunnels they say that it is not their responsibility to support the civilians of Gaza, that is up to Israel And the UN.

Hamas has also launched over 10000 rockets into Israel since the 7th October, approximately 10% of their rockets fail and fall on Gazans. They have caused utter devastation to Gaza. They also target Israeli civilians, schools, and hospitals. They are a death cult. They won’t respect a ceasefire. They will continue to embed themselves with civilians and keep civilian from leaving.

I don't support a ceasefire because Israel need to get in, get Hamas, and get out. As quickly as possible to limit civilian casualty's. A ceasefire holds no military advantange for israel.
