Yes. The different groups of people I know and see, on a regular basis, are not talking about this. The “friends” that I have on social media are not talking about this.

Why would my experience not be “a serious comment”?!

@Missingmyusername i think there’s still hope. People are still protesting. This isn’t about religion, Palestine is being supported by people all over the globe. It’s quite obvious the government isn’t listening to its people but that doesn’t stop us.

There will always be evil people, even on Mumsnet!

Israel was given the land by Britain who owned it at the time. There is no apartheid in Israel, all its citizens are treated equally. War started by the other side is not ethnic cleansing but Palestine's actions on October 7th can certainly be read that way.

In what way is Gaza a prison state? Is it because Israel and Egypt both control and defend their own borders? Or is it the how the Hamas government treats its citizens?

I don't know how anyone can still say Israel is justified. Seriously. It is beyond doubt they've gone way too far in retaluation and are not a civilised country. It's about time sanctions started now. Possibly worse than Russia with the way they train their soldiers to behave. It is extremely shocking. And makes real politik so clear, UK and USA will stand by Israel no matter what it seems.

How far do you think Israel should go in a war situation when the country was invaded and is still subject to a daily barrage of bombs itself? I don't support Israel (why would I? this isn't a game of footie) but I certainly don't think the country that kicked the war off by perpetrating the terrorist, genocidal actions of October 7th and has chosen to break every ceasefire since should be treated as an innocent victim.
