Why is Israeli bombing refugee camps in Gaza?

Context is irrelevant to certain people because they view certain other people as sub human. That statement can be applied to both hamas and some sections of Israelis

Either context matters or it doesn't. Either it matters for both of it doesn't.

If context is irrelevant:

-the Hamas terrorist attack was a vile and inexcusable act of violence which killed 1400.
-Israel has decided to slaughter 9000 people, about half of which are children, and has condemned many thousands more through starvation disease. An excusable act of violence.

If context is relevant, then and only then can you mention WHY Israel is doing what it's doing, and the fear that the country has, but equally relevant is the 70 years of oppression and violence against the Palestinian people, creating a boiling pot of anger.

Is context relevant or irrelevant? Don't you see that it makes you hugely racist to say context only matters one way.

If you are saying Israel has the right to defend itself by massacring thousands of civilians, then you have no right to say Hamas can’t do the same after 75 years of occupation and oppression. What happened on the 7th of October was terrible, but it’s happened many times to the Palestinian Arabs way before the 7th of October.
There needs to be a ceasefire and a solution needs to be found for both nations or this will continue until the Mujahideen groups in the Arab nations create a bigger problem than the 7th of October and it leads to world war 3. There are bigger problems than Hamas unfortunately and they, like any terrorist organisation don’t care about any civilians in any country.

I don't know those quotes. I cant comment on what a couple of people may have said. If they were about hamas then we can all agree.

The death figures coming from gaza are from hamas who lie, so we really don't know how many have died.

Many of them would have been Hamas fighters, so far from innocents.

I blame Hamas for all civilian deaths in Garza because they started this war and use them as human shields.

honestly i am surprised at the lack of action from Arab countries. I had read that palestinians and their cause were not that popular with some Arab states. It would appear to be true from what i can see. Western countries seem to be stepping in far more to temper the Israeli response than the neighbours are.

Just be careful what you ask for. The Arab countries have not joined the war, but if they did it wouldn’t end well for anyone in the world. Arab nations like Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan have already started imposing sanctions on Israel. Hezbollah and Houthi group from Yemen have been involved in firing rockets at Israel. Iran and Syria won’t hesitate. Turkey has called for a ceasefire and has warned Israel. The last thing we want is for the Arab nations to say enough is enough and start world war 3. The only reason they are holding back is because they are hopeful of a ceasefire as countries put pressure in Israel. World war 3 with the Arab nations wouldn’t end well for any country in the world.

@eardefender I am anti-Israel in its current racist form. I never, ever said that I was pro-Hamas - so I don't know what you're talking about. But I do believe that if Israel has a 'right to defend itself' in any way it sees fit and at any cost, then it is not fair to tell the Palestinians, who Israel has been oppressing for 75+ years, that they have no right to resistance. Israel has been militant from its inception until today. It is one of the most militaristic societies in the world - there is nothing peaceful about it. It is sick, and I hope one day it gets the help it so badly needs.
