To think Israel won't exist much longer?

I really don't think it is about what the media are allowed to report but more a form of normalizing their genocidal ideology. In Israel, this falls on ground made fertile by decades of discourse dehumanising Palestinians.
It is worth pointing out that there are many, many Israeli who oppose what is happening but this not reported by the so called free media. Why not? I expect a democracy to encourage and support alternate views to be reported.
I am also aware what Yahya Sinwar said.
I feel the Gazans are too busy trying to survive to actually talk. Their voice is heard through what we witness and it is a powerful voice too.

Of course I’m not obsessed and if I’m using this current one but spot something a interesting about vegetarianism or nappies I don’t change my name just for that. But for sensitive subjects I will be careful.

@Auvergne63 whilst I do not agree with terminology used and strongly oppose the dehumanising of any side in this Israel has a much more open policy with regard to what its media can report.

Can you imagine Hamas' thoughts on Israel and I have to say it a vast portion of the population of Gaza... think of how the body of shani louk was treated (not by Hamas by general populace). I doubt very much they speak about Israeli's and Jews in general by what we know.

This yougov survey was taken 2-3rd November. So obviously opinion may have changed since then especially with the continued bombings and attacks on hospitals and schools , however even in early November
Its clear at that time opinion was fairly equal in terms of support.

Calls for Gaza to be “flattened,” “erased” or “destroyed” had been mentioned about 18,000 times since Oct. 7 in Hebrew posts on X.
I could find many more examples to the kind of rhetoric used publicly (God knows what they say in private).
This has gone to far to be only about self defence. Of course Israel will exist for a long time. Gaza and the West bank? Doubtful.

. Israel will have a long life. There are 67m of us in the UK and many support Israel as does the UK state, as does the US state. Israel is not going away, but hopefully Hamas is.

@Jupitersstorm Israel refused to accept the hostages Hamas tried to release before didn't they.

It's a pure opinion piece and Israel has aright to defend itself and it is Hamas who won't release the hostages and continue to make their people disposable.

Just release the hostages and let your people get out of harm's way.

If you read the OP's later posts they clarify that they themselves are Jewish and what they meant in terms of what affects the war would have on Israel in the long term but I do see if that's what they meant it's not the best choice of words
