Good question, I think this depends largely on which country succeeds the US. The US economy is lagging and China is looking to overtake them by 2050, so it’s most likely to be them. If China becomes the new master, things will likely look very different for Israel.

Why have Israel told people to move South and then bombed the South? You say yourself they have made a lot of efforts to get people to move South, do you think they were luring them down there to make it easier to kill more people at once or what do you think the thinking behind it was?

It is legal to use white phosphorous for marking out enemy positions, for illumination and as a smoke screen. The Israelis have categorically denied using white phosphorous munitions in this conflict but using them is considered legal if they are being used against a legitimate military target. Obviously you won't believe the Israelis but what you have stated is simply wrong.

Israel has spent the last two weeks telling people in the north of Gaza to move south for their own safety. They have used text messages, phone calls, arabic social media, leaflet drops from the air. In response, Hamas has tried to prevent people moving south by putting up road blocks and threatening to shoot them. Why? Because the people of Gaza have no worth to Hamas other than as human shields.

That wasn't addressing yours, I honestly felt every freedom figting nation do also make extremists though.

Israel is too powerful and has too powerful allies to stop exist.

But its goverment and its recent action will attract even more hate from all over the world.

The Hamas leaders aren't prepared to die. That's why they're living it up on their billions in Qatar. The Hamas fighters aren't so prepared to die that they won't do all their shooting and rocket-launching from behind children and hostages. True freedom fighters don't attack civilians and hide behind them.

I'm not surprised if civilians were caught in the crossfire - seems sort of inevitable when there are terrorists involved.

As a PP said, I’m not saying the Hamas militants didn’t kill anyone, but I’m critical of the fact that no one is really talking about the fact that the IDF killed the citizens it’s supposed to be protecting, even using shelling.

I was shocked that a pro-Israeli on another thread was happy for hostages to be starved, deprived of clean water and medicine, or fuel for treating any of them, as well as the fact there are now reports of the IDF killing the hostages when shelling Gaza, but she was fine with all that, also fine with kids and babies being killed, as long as they’re Palestinians.

I’m highlighting this for anyone who cares, and for anyone who puts the life of fellow humans before tribalism.

Israel isn't deliberately killing a large number of people except for Hamas, and they don't have the stated aim of destroying Palestine.

Not sure what more I can say on the matter, really. Plenty of experts agree with that assessment. Or rather, I agree with their assessment.

Every government and organisation has their version of hasbara though. It's really not a big deal?! I had a sibling who worked in hasbara - they were a spokesperson for the IDF. They wrote press releases and whatnot
