Just because a local police guy doesn’t have autopsy reports, as quoted in the NYT, that doesn’t mean there are no autopsies done.

You missed this bit which is from the autopsy reports:

”Many victims' bodies were found mutilated and bound, with sexual organs brutally attacked, and in some cases, weapons were inserted into them. Some bodies were discovered deliberately booby-trapped. It is essential to note that the report details only information from identified sources permitted for publication, while analysis includes additional confidential information that cannot be disclosed publicly.”

@PeasfullPerson you think it's just Israel that has an issue with that? No, harrassment of women is a global issue. One second of googling for instance:

It’s hard to believe when females conscripts are being treated this way.

It’s incredibly hypocritical of you to ask for me to not take what you’ve said literally when whatever I say, even when I condone antisemitism, is consistently picked apart and twisted around.

This thread was commented on recently because of appalling behaviour by some posters who wanted to dismiss evidence of rape and sexual abuse against Palestinians, and then argued that it didn’t matter because what happened on October 7th was worse. No ‘level’ of rape is OK, it is not OK full stop.

You'd think a thread about rape victims would be a place where everyone can just agree it was a horrendous thing to have happened and condemn it all outright, but I guess some people just hate Israel and Israelis so much that they can't bring themselves to feel sorry for them and would rather spend their time harassing other posters 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, at least that poster is brave enough to actually openly make their disgusting comments rather than just hint at them. Credit where credit is due and all that.

I don't know @Humdingerydoo , have no personal or internet connection with them, am not Jewish, am not Israeli, etc etc (not sure what spin you might put on this), but will try and answer on their behalf - not because I am certain of my ground, but just because I can't bear watching someone being attacked so viciously.

The way I see it is that you and others are aggressively in denial of what is effectively the second Holocaust. It's sickening and terrifying.

I used to contribute to these threads, but lost the heart for it when I began to realise that adult debate is simply not possible here. I value and protect my inner calm.

I actually used to see myself as part of a group that had a job to do on here. I had a strong sense of responsibility for truth in the face of the TikTok nonsense that seems to prevail. It grieved me terribly that vile injustices were being spoken here. Like an abused wife, I just kept thinking: "If only I could get them to understand, everything would be different."

I've ceased caring, though. I've come to understand that some people just enjoy seeing things a certain way. It's awful to think that history repeats itself because it has to (no one listens), but that's how things are and there is fuck all I can do about it.
