Justifying the rape of women

I read that. I also watched the Hamas commander on Channel 4 tonight say that all killings were justified on 7th October. All pretty fecking chilling.

However the one remark you picked up on - I was talking about the status levels of the hostages currently to Hamas and Israel and reflecting on what the hostage in the link referred to ie they were valuable to their guards and they tried keep them alive.

Don't be ridiculous. Hamas take hostages for bargaining chips.

How? It appears IDF did shoot people to prevent them becoming hostages? I have read often in Israeli news outlets about the belief that hostages should be sacrificed for the greater good ?
In fact I read that some of the Israel hostages family members said the hostages were not as important as crushing Hamas so if they had to be sacrificed so be it. But in the same article other hostage family members said those family members were plants by the Israeli govt to justify hostage deaths . Confused yet?
Then in the article I linked above, the hostage says she was told they were valuable and she says their guards shielded them with their own bodies from Israel attacks.

So what say you ?

Not sure why are you asking me when I’ve never denied rapes happened on 7-10. Same way I’ve never denied rapes committed by IDF.

Ok but I asked specifically about the ongoing rape denial, as that's what we keep being told isn't happening. So I hope you, and others, can now accept that it is happening and that it's a massive issue.

Lots of pro-Hamas posters are denying and minimising the sexual violence that occurred on 7th of October.

I don't have the time to look for it to actually prove it's true, but as I have said it is true I fully expect you to believe it.

Well a poster ( pro Israeli government) graded rape. As a survivor, I found this beyond the pale.

I wonder if the people so determined to discredit the stories of rape on 7/10 do so with all rape survivors?

For me all this comes down to whether in 5 10 or 20 years time, Israel will be safer?
I would say what Israel is doing is sowing the seeds for decades of further terror, as have Hamas with 7/10 and the taking & treatment of the hostages.
