How effective is Israeli bombing, anyway?

According to Hamas figures, Israel has dropped 12,000 tonnes of explosives on Gaza. 6000 people have died.

Hamas terrorists killed 1400 Jews with just what they could carry on trucks and motorbikes.

It almost looks like Israel is trying to minimize casualties, doesn't it?

Given that Hamas get voted in every time and cheerfully killed innocent Israel civilians I rather doubt Israeli people worry too much that civilians are being killed in Palestine

to put it bluntly, if a country drops 12000 tones of munitions with the intent of killing civilians, there would be one hundred times as many dead.

the macabre arithmetic is one fatality for every two tonnes of high explosive.

It’s patently clear that Israel’s intent is not to kill Palestinian civilians.

If their aim is to kill Hamas I think it's highly unlikely to be effective. If the aim is to punish Gaza for the actions of Hamas and obliterate a nation, then very effective.
