To be horrified re the 2000+ children killed in Gaza.

There might not be a Gaza we recognise when we wake up tomorrow, or at the very least, an unimaginable horror will have been inflicted on them. I want to be able to look my children in the eye decades from now, and say yes, I did stand up the next morning, and I did try and say something. No matter how tiny and inconsequential my voice was, at least my moral compass was intact.

Oh please pipe down. You do realise that the hostages, that you clearly value above any Palestinian life, are ALSO being starved, deprived of any clean water, medicine, and are being bombed - does that not bother you at all? They’re being forced to suffer because Israel refuses to let basic humane necessities in.

What on Earth are you talking about that they need to be “opposed and stopped”? By bombing children? @vestedinterests I think it's slow, but the government does respond to protest. It's because of protest that they have started to call for humanitarian aid and pauses. I think if the whole world had kept quiet they would not even have done that.

Does Israel have control of the mobile phone network and internet? It means whatever happens there is now hidden from the world, but also that residents can't call an ambulance, check where is safe(r) to go, find the news, check on friends. If Israel has done this - is it legal?

All comms in |Gaza have been cut. There's no internet or mobile phone service, according to Guardian live. This is pretty horrifying. No one can call for help now.

Meanwhile the internet in Gaza has been cut off just as the ground invasion ramps up. They couldn't wipe out the journalists in time so they cut them off instead.

Hamas has nowhere near 100k fighters.

I think, sadly, there is probably someone who is in Hamas in pretty much every extended family in Gaza. There are about 100k Hamas fighters, and 2mln people there - that's 1:20. So yes, where they would be hiding - in family homes, in tunnels under schools and hospitals, in mosques... its really, really awful.

@Toothyfruity nobody knows where they are, no one is even sure they are alive. I read somewhere that Hamas said they have been "looked after" by civilians, and that 50 of them have been killed by bombing.
I would suspect that most of them are dead, tbh.

Where do you think they should be hiding?

Not denying that there isn't using the locals as human shields but be realistic

You think they have no choice but to use schools, homes and hospitals? I would think they're more resourceful than that. It's a deliberate strategy.
