I bet that makes it difficult. Does he have to do that every week?

milosmum · 23/08/2005 20:31

LOL- i was going to do the exact same thing but he works away 3(ish) nights a week so i have to "book him in" on his diary that i may ov, so that idea went to the scrappers!

JAG123 · 23/08/2005 20:21

MM - Most definately. Keep thinking that i won't tell him when it's the right time just put on a sexy nightie and seduce him instead that usually works

milosmum · 23/08/2005 20:01

hi jag- i always thought men NEVER turn down sex but when i was rapped up in the whole ttc thing- god i virtually had to force him sometimes! i ve found now im not temping and poas we bd more gotta be a good thing, right?

JAG123 · 23/08/2005 19:55

Evening Ladies

Harri - sounds like you still have a chance this month 2/5 still better than none have you got long till you will find out?

Debbsy - Glad that your mom is feeling better.

FD - Hope you feel better soon. It still could be good news.

Hi to everyone else Charlee, Hulababy, Milosmum,Babymaybe, Handbag, Loubie, Madigan, Eldestgirl, Nimmies sorry if i've missed anyone.

I'm on CD9 so getting ready for lots of BD if i can pin my DH down. Made a deal that over these next few days i don't moan when his his messing about with his car he will be my willing love slave.(He hates having to check dates etc plus he is not quite as keen as me for another baby) Just got to get round the problem now that he's come down with Man flu!

milosmum · 23/08/2005 19:39

Hi all - sorry not posted for ages - have been really down about the whole thing and taking a break from it all for a week.

Debs - so sorry to read about your mum but pleased she has been "let out" - My thought are with you and your family for a speedy recovery for her.

Harrizeb - I quite often talk to myself - that way I get all the right answers!!! I also make really unfunny jokes (too bad to even put on here) - please can I bee a co memeber of the Clown fish thingy???

On CD17 here and have done OV sticks for the last 7 days with no result - does this mean I haven't ov'd this month? Am usually 29 days so OV should be around day 13-15? Can anyone help as going mad thinking I don't even OV now. Amy buying a thermometer at the w/end to use too...

Hope everyone else is ok Jag, Milosmum,
Madigan, Fariydust, Hulababy, strike1, Charlee, Loubie and welcome to Babymaybe too - lets hope for some more BFP's really soon

J xxx

Harrizeb · 23/08/2005 16:01

See I am talking to myself.... Well I warned you that I'd resort to jokes, and as the flounder member of Clown Fish Anonymous I shall begin.

ok now I feel old.

There is a really cute guy in the office who I could seriously lead astray and I've just followed him into the office....the only thing that went through my head was..

You need to hitch your trouses up they're falling down, the crotch was down by his knees - thank goodness he didn't turn round and say hi cause I guarantee I would have said it - the first time I bumped into him the supermarket I told him to tie his shoe laces up!!!!!!!!

milosmum · 23/08/2005 13:17

oh, harrizeb- v v funny lady! you are certainly what this thread needs- a bit of laughter!

Harrizeb · 23/08/2005 13:03

Hi Hockeymum, LOL, just how do they expect it to happen if they don't do their 'bit' - funny creatures men aren't they, some of the ladies on here have had real problems. They can have it as much as they want and they go and get all shy on us . Have to admit that I haven't managed to find the end of DH's tolerance yet my stamina runs out before his does.

He spooked me last month, he offered me a pillow to stick my butt on when we'd finished - I was speachless! I'll bare the legs in the air in mind, my tummy could definately do with a workout it's getting all flabby again.

We could start clown fish annonymous, ...we'll be the flounder members [groan]

hockeymum · 23/08/2005 12:15

pmsl Harriezeb! Even my dh went off it after I insisted on a 5th night in a row last month! But Hey it works, so heres hoping yours will too.

Dont forget legs in the air for a good half hour (don't know if it makes a difference to the sperm flow but hey it works those stomach muscles well)... I'm about as funny as a clown fish too...erm I'll get my coat!

Harrizeb · 23/08/2005 11:50

Hellooooo, FD I'm so sorry about the infection they really suck don't they. Are you on antibiotics or just gallons of water?
I found cranberry juice and lemon barley work really well to help shift it. Not mixed together obviously - yuck!!

MM phew thank goodness I don't have to resort to telling myself jokes, it really wouldn't have been a pretty sight . Yes it has gone really quiet I did wonder if it's something to do with the school holidays and there being too many busy mums to post on here at the moment. Alternatively I could be deluding myself and it's just that everyone is off on a different thread and have left me to stew in my own jokes.

Just been teasing myself with a due date calendar, I know I'm not going to be getting my BF +ve this month I was just curious, but I was very suprised to see that I have managed to pin DH down on 2 out of my 5 fertile days, which isn't bad going and next month he's home 4 out of 5 so even better odds. DH watch out H is about .

milosmum · 23/08/2005 11:11

dont worry harri- i wont leave you talking to yourself- i check in on here all the time- the thread has gone rather quiet hasnt it?

Loubie37 · 23/08/2005 11:00

Hope you're feeling better soon FairyDust - have you tried testing again yet? If not, it might be worth doing another in the morning?

Good luck, I really hope you get a BFP soon

fairydust · 23/08/2005 10:54

I have a kidney and water in infection so i'm wondering if this is y AF is Late.

Harrizeb · 23/08/2005 10:20

Morning everyone, how are you? Hope you've got the sunshine today, we have it's a lovely day. Should have left my rain soaked washing out last night and then it would have been dry for this evening.

So where is everyone - it's got very quiet and not very chatty on here over the last couple of weeks, Charlee we know that you are busy sorting things for life in NZ, Where's everyone else? what are you doing that is sooooo interesting? or maybe I just need to get a life?

You know if I am left here talking to myself I may end up resorting to jokes and I'm about as funny as a clown fish, it's a common misconception that clown fish are funny, oh goodness I do need to get a life I'm quoting kids films......Arrrrrrhh someone rescue me..

milosmum · 23/08/2005 07:02

Loubie37 · 22/08/2005 14:09

You'll see what I mean about my erratic temps then! How FF has decided I OVd some months I'll never know!!

I bought a thermometer from Boots - it's in a charting kit (but I don't use the paper charts as I use FF) and it cost me around £11 IIRC.

Whichever one you get it's best if it takes your temp to 2 digital places

Madigan · 22/08/2005 13:55

Loubie - your link did work! Thank you!

Madigan · 22/08/2005 13:54

Hi Loubie and HA
and thanks for all your advice and help. I suppose I should start temping ... it seems that's the only way I am going to find out what's going on ... will start next month
any recommendations re best thermometer to use etc?
Thank you again for all your help
