We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

Oh Scorps that's just not fair.

believe beLIEF

Headbanger · 25/06/2010 18:17

Oh Score

I'm so sorry. And little can be said to help: I know that.

Re. Lap incision: are you sure it's infected? Because if so, get thee to the A&E or a clinic stat. not something to be messed with and fuck the NHS and its bizarre believe that germs all pack their tiny suitcases and head for Broadstairs every weekend.

And yes, I just did that.

Scorpette · 25/06/2010 18:01

Well, I don't has a baby. What I do has, instead, is a Lap incision that is going infected, plus a massive allergic to all known antibiotics plus nowhere I can can to get it seen to cos it's the weekend (and no-one is ill at the weekend, apparently).

Pink Panther whispered just as I had my 'leaving work wee' (in the toilets, not in the front door way nor nuffink). This made going home on the bus all the more special. Or the 'Teen Mums Connect', as I call the bus service I use. There was no less than 4 babies on there, numerous small kids running amok and 3 pregnant women. Not one of the caaaaahs was under 25 and they were swearing at their kids, swatting at them angrily, ignoring them whilst texting and best of all, one was giving her baby a Mars milkshake (the bottle with a suckable teat thingy) to drink. And if that wasn't funtime enough, the sexy-but-distressed young couple in front of me were talking sotto voce using the world's most easily-crackable code about needing an abortion. I know that's sad for them but I just didn't need it.

Am going off for a pathetic weep now and ooooh, TYF is home early. Now I can ruin his weekend with my wailing!

MountTheFairy · 25/06/2010 16:56

He, he, we can start The Palace Brass Band. On the second thought, I think that might get us expelled! I would suggest you enumerate the symptoms and we all menkul over them, but that would be TOO collectively menkul, right? Can you see that I am trying to make up for the lack of my own 2WOOLFing?

Ocarina · 25/06/2010 16:51

I'm resisting, I'm resisting..... (the googling as opposed to the trombone playing, although on second thoughts maybe that's a good idea too!)

MountTheFairy · 25/06/2010 16:46

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

Ocarina · 25/06/2010 16:34

I've been trying to convince myself to not 2WOOFL this month, but have spent the afternoon with my insides doing weird things. It's probably just pre-droid rumblings (although I'm only CD23 so would be pretty early if it is) but I'm now having to convince myself not to start googling symptoms.

Will someone please slap me with something?

PerfectDromedary · 25/06/2010 15:02

5th July is very soon - well done you.

MountTheFairy · 25/06/2010 14:39

Good news Mustard. I sympathise with all of your and GingerBeer's fears, I do, and I am sure I would be menkul about everything, but I choose to wantonly celebrate your wins, I do. (I think I just want to continue nekkid dancing indefinitely.)

Corpette I will nekkid dance around the fire for a pristine gusset too.

HeadTeacher well, I have had none of the secs this month , so no 2WOOLFing here either, though I rather miss it . Might I be a junkie?

Ocarina · 25/06/2010 14:12

Yay, so glad that's organised for you.

Headbanger · 25/06/2010 14:11

HOOPLA! Am VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV glad.

Muser · 25/06/2010 13:44

Well, my GP may have been a bit unhelpful, but St Thomas's are lovely. I am booked in for Monday 5 July. Unlike gin I'm not getting blood tests first. Quite pleased about that actually as the thought of sitting around for tests is not appealing. And the 5 July is really very soon.

Hooray!

PollyPoo · 25/06/2010 12:01

Just a quickie as off to work soon. Gin and Muse good luck with bloods and hospitals today, I hope you get the results (good high ones) and dates for scans.

Aries hope you and MrA have managed some more secs and it was more than perfunctory this time.

ExtremelyGorgeous we all heart you muchly, plz to come lay your head on our collective bosoms and let us stroke your arse hair and forcefeed you booze. xx

Scorpy I am doing a little jig on the spot at news of your overnight pristine gusset, long may it continue my leetle cupcake.

Laterz biatches.

Oh yes, and Lozzer you are probably there already, but have an amazing weekend at glasto!

Ariesgirl · 25/06/2010 10:47

Love to Extreme. So sorry you're having a shit time.

Hi to everyone else. Very quick dash in and out.

PerfectDromedary · 25/06/2010 10:43

Ginnie Petal. Scary dream is all the stress bubbling up, but that obviously doesn't make it any less scary.

Muse NHS can be such a pain to wrestle with. 5+5? When was your last period?

Head If is too much to add the 2WOOFL to life madness, don't. But STAY HERE - you are my official pregnancy talisman. Is that scary? Um, sorry. But c'mere so I can rub you for luck.

Streme You're lovely and I'm sorry that things are so hard for you. I wish I prayed, so I could claim to be praying for you, but I'll have to settle for sending every last scrap of positive energy I can muster into the universe for you.

Scorps Everything crossed that the gusset stays pristine today. I know you're really anxious about the LP defect, and I was too, but remember that Pols and I never cured ours, so it isn't impossible to get pregnant with the spotting.

Scorpette · 25/06/2010 10:09

And Streme, I have one thing to say: I LOVE YOU. You can always msg me for a rant, vent, wail, whatever. You've been so brave and we're all here for you. More kisses xxxxxxxxx

Scorpette · 25/06/2010 10:02

Muse, that is NOT irrational. If I'd gone what you had to in a certain hospital, I'd want to burn the fucking place down, never mind just avoid it. And the stoopid, crappy, hamfistedly-organised way you're being sent from pillar to post is simply Not Good Enough. BESH SMASH! Useless, thoughtless arseholes

Gin, results will be fine. We knows it, Luvver. Hope you get them today Understand about the dream - I had horrible one where I was dying and that's freaked me out, so I can't imagine how scary it was to dream about bleeding

You're not too double hard for a kiss and a cuddle on Auntie Scorp's knee, are you? Wait, that sounds VERY wrong ... Nah, gerrover here, ya minx! You take the left, Muse, you hop on the right. Oh yeah (gigetty).

No spotting yet but getting usual feeling of 'shivery horribleness' which usually precedes spotting after DPO10. Thank god Bossfriend isn't in today so if I'm useless cos of Teh Menkul no-one can bollock me!

Laters! And I'm going to add kisses for you all despite not even being single hard xxxxxxxx

PS I know I say 'laters' on here a lot but I only do it ironically. I would never say such a thing in RL, honest!

Muser · 25/06/2010 09:55

We could do private scan, but I might as well just go to the EPU. I'll get bloods done first that way, otherwise it's a longer wait of "what the fuck is happening".

And heads, there may not be a 'for the best' option for you at the moment. Just what feels right at the moment. And if that's taking a break then that's what you do.

OP posts:
Headbanger · 25/06/2010 09:48

Muse, I might be being totally ignorant here but my BESH/PESH pal had a 6 week scan privately - she was able to find a clinic very near home I understand, rather than having to go to A&E...not sure if that helps .

Streme if you are lurking my duckie, big soft-armed hugs to you and I hope only good news, good times, and good things, are forthcoming. XXX YES KISSES ALL RIGHT?!

Gin gah, vile dreams don't fucking help do they? Sorry you're strung-out (in the very elegant way that only a DHB could be strung out, obvs ). Smooches...

Score, am gritting teeth and pleading with Gaia and praying and training as a wicca on your behalf. Best to cover all bases, I always find.

I am FFJing like the fucking Niagara Falls, but we're letting this month go too. Just cannot accommodate the 2WOOFL with everything else going on just now without going BANG. Really weird feeling, ignoring the ticking of the clock. Still not sure it's for the best. Suspect will SWI next month. Although I don't know. I don't know anything really; am one giant serving of Confuzzled with an Anxious garnish

Muser · 25/06/2010 09:39

GP did sympathise about the crapness. And said I shouldn't worry about ectopic unless I have pain. But said quickest way for reassurance was going back to EPU.

He also put me as 5+5 which is surely wrong? I must be 4+5. Not that it gave me a different EDD.

OP posts:
ginhag · 25/06/2010 09:24

And ALSO I think your gp is an insensitive arse. You should get more support. Wanker

ginhag · 25/06/2010 09:22

And I'm a DHB so I can put fucking kisses wherever I fucking like, RIGHT???

ginhag · 25/06/2010 09:20

muse that is just shit. I'm really sorry you are being put through the mill. My gp has been really good, think I'm very lucky there. Will still be having scan in the same epu that all the shit stuff happened in tho,and I understand your dread of that. Have avoided it fir bloods as gp doing them...longer wait for results but no jeremy fucking Kyle...

We'll get you through the next couple of weeks. After that things are gonna get soooooo much better xx

Muser · 25/06/2010 09:05

And after that MeMeMe I ought to say thank you to everyone for the reassurance. Especially gin as I know you must be feeling much the same as me. I hope your blood tests come back and are perfect.

Scorps am wishin' and hopin' that there is no spotting today.

extreme if you're lurking, you're fab and deserve all good things.
