We're getting serious this time BESHies. Welcome to the Palace, where the emphasis is on sophistication. Cast your eyes over the plush carpet, admire the oh-so-carefully worn leather armchairs with sidetables and little green lamps. We have the Bonds of the ages as barstaff, waiting to serve martinis and the finest champagne.

To your left you'll see the Pit, which hopefully we won't be needing much. To your right the Cave of Gloom, and straight ahead we have our special space for the 2WOOFL. You'll find beanbags and gym balls there, the walls have been specially painted to allow you to write your symptoms up and wipe them off if they disappear. It's all the rage for Blue Sky thinking these days. And there are donuts and coffee to keep you going as you try to shift that paradigm.

he is, which is a shame, but still, will give me something to look forward to on Monday morning, which is rare, (assuming droid doesn't appear over the weekend)

Muser · 30/06/2010 21:59

Crossing my fingers for Medee and Aries. More summer diffment wins!

Medee, I think Mr M is right about avoiding sadness, but I feel your pain over the urge to POAS

Medee · 30/06/2010 21:55

CD33, of 37-38 day cycle, based on when I think I ov'd. So Sunday is proper droid-due date, when we shall be in a B+B.

I'm barely drinking at the moment anyway, so that's no such a concern, but more how lovely the weekend would be if I got good news (but I know it would be more awful if I got bad, if you see what I mean.)

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:49

Cheers Scorps.

Scorpette · 30/06/2010 21:48

Cassie, so sorry again about your lovely Gran. It's horrible sorting out funeral stuff, but at least it stops you having too much time to wallow. Big hugs

Laughed a lot at menkulmenkulmenkulmenkul because that's exactly what I was saying to myself on Friday... before the spotting started Project Lorra Lorra Sex starts this weekend. Am both YAY! and MEH at thought

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:44

No, not hormones. Poor love .

With spotting, the first day of droid is first day of "full red flow" How lovely!

It's probably all ridiculous anyway.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 21:44

Medee what day of what are you, would you be testing early at the weekend? It's my sis's wedding Sat and part of me thinks I should POAS first thing Sat just in case I need to not drink, but then, yeah.... hope springs eternal and all that.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 21:42

Medee that constitutes a symptom in my book. Technotechnotechnotechno... (and thanks for kind words earlier)

Aries have been wanting to chew my own arm off since posting. Realised it sounded like I was pissing on your parade whereas I'd just been trying to work out my days in a mathematical type headspace and then got confused and posted before I thought.

That's shit, the pre-spotting thing. Makes it hard for you to know where you're at,what to count as day 1 which of course then affects when you SWI - gah! .... bastid droid with it's mindfuckery.

Anyway, we're going to be labour buddies. Push! Push! Push! Push!

OK, so I'm day 25 then. No real symptoms to report. I do seem more aware of my nipples than usual . I'm tired and weepy but that's not hormones.

Medee · 30/06/2010 21:34

please note, I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever; though my temp has gone back up.

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:34

And that last bit of my post sounded really sarky too! Sorry, luvver.

Obviously I'll be furious and murderous if our inevitable pregnancies don't coincide TO THE DAY, but I think I'd forgive you eventually! Idiot!

Medee · 30/06/2010 21:34

MrM isn't letting me test till Monday, as we are going away over the weekend, and he doesn't want me being sad if it is not good news. To be fair, I asked him if I should before the weekend, so I should respect his view, but I really want to POAS (and at the same time, don't want to in case it is negative and Hope flies out the window.)

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:32

I had a bit of spotting pre-droid last month Cass. Started properly on the 7th, so today's day 24.

I'm probably completely wrong and have made a dick of myself.

I'll save travelling tales for elsewhere, if that's ok.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 21:32

Sorry, just read that back Aries and it sounds like I'm charting YOUR cycles for you!! Didn't mean to sound like that. I just remembered we were shag buddies last month but that your droid came before mine and I was terrified mine wouldn't as I didn't want to upset you!

If your days are right, then your bleed sounds v v promising . Has it stopped?

What about if I tweak your nipples, does that hurt? Or if I make you drink this rubbish Asda Smartprice tea, does it taste funny? menkulmenkulmenkulmenkul... (to the tune of technotechnotechnotechno)

Medee · 30/06/2010 21:30

Aries keeping my fingers crossed it is the infamous IB.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 21:28

Ocky maybe you could go for a nice registering appointment and then drop it in while you're in there, see what they say??

Or just LIE, but I suspect that may not be your style

How's Le Scorps today?

And Salty , nice to see you. Glad everyfink's going well with you so far

Medee · 30/06/2010 21:28

LeCresuet I am very sorry to hear about your gran, wishing you strength to get through the next few days.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 21:26

Pisces are you sure about your dates? Only I thought you were a couple of days ahead of me... but I think maybe your droid was a bit stop-starty last month, maybe that's why I've got confused...

Any news on your beloved voyager?

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:25

Yes!

Oh shit.

Ocarina · 30/06/2010 21:23

We'll excuse you, but will you manage it?

Ariesgirl · 30/06/2010 21:06

If it's early spotting then it's extremely early spotting, and ...excuse the info...very red. Don't know when I ov-ed as I am so slack and crap. We had the Crap Secs seven days ago and I thought that was at the back end of being Useful, Effective Secs.

No Igster, not up the back end.

Right will shut up and not say One More Word about it. You'll excuse me if I say nothing at all won't you?

Ocarina · 30/06/2010 20:40

31 on Friday which is why I wonder whether they'll just tell me to go away. I haven't had to go to the new GP since we moved last summer so have no idea whether they're friendly or not, or how easy it is to get an appointment.

Casserole · 30/06/2010 20:29

Ah, they were the two I was going to suggest, they seem to have brought ov forward from day 18 to day 15/6 for me, whilst keeping my cycle the same length overall.... mind me asking how old you are? They say 6 months here if you're over 35... thanks for kind thoughts re other stuff.

Ocarina · 30/06/2010 20:20

Cass hope all goes OK with the funeral directors and all that kind of stuff. It always seems to me that all the practicalities are the last thing you want to have to be dealing with when someone dies, but they all seem to need doing at once. So hope everything goes as smoothly as possible.

As for the short LP, I take agnus castus and vit B6 thanks to the wise advice of Polly. Not that it seems to be doing anything (am ignoring the non-arrival of droid as it's bound to happen before I go to bed so LP won't be any longer than normal). I'm wondering whether I should be heading to the GP to see if there's anything they can do but am worried they'd just say I've not been ttc long enough and to come back when it's a year (this is cycle 7). All advice happily received!

Casserole · 30/06/2010 19:58

I haven't yet had a chance to say this:

PENCIL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed you

Ocky have you ever taken anyfink for your short LP?

Well, went with Mum today to get Nan's death cert. Funeral directors tomorrow. It's happy happy go go here I tell you. Oh, and am so addled I put my mobile on top of Dad's car whilst strapping minipot in (our car is in garage having more things fixed than left alone) and then forgot I'd put it there. He drove off and it shot off, and got run over. Brilliant.

I'm exhausted, and have done next to nuffink today. In bed. My lovely bigfooted husband has gone out for Haagen Daaz and then it's an episode of Grey's and bed for me.
