Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
Muser · 16/06/2010 22:25

Am about to go to bed, but wanted to give a big hug to Bunder first, we all have bad days. Tomorrow will be better. Just keep telling yourself that.

BUnderTheBonnet · 16/06/2010 21:52

I've had a rubbish two days. Sobbing all over the place. I had a meeting yesterday sat next to a hugely pg woman, rubbing her bump fondly and going on about maternity leave. This was followed immediately by a second meeting, where I was sat next to a hugely pg woman, rubbing her bump fondly and going on about maternity leave. I used to enjoy talking about pregnancy with pregnant ladies - now I can't stand to even look at them. I'm fine once the babies are born, but I can't take the bumps. Every time anyone else asks the pregnant lady an interested, polite question, along the lines of "when's your due date?" I want to scream at them to stop being so fucking insensitive. I realise this is unreasonable one a sane level, obviously.

I got home (having sobbed all the way) and my DH asked if I'd had a good day, and I said "fine". WTF???? Why did I do that? It just feels like a totally over the top embarassing reaction.

I was wobbly on the way to work this morning as well. I thought all this was calming down, but it's not.

Me me me post. Sorry.

Congrats to excellent test results and GC chats. I second the haddocking and I will not test until 23rd. Although it is father's day on the 20th (I'll be 12dpo then)

OP posts:
Moofold · 16/06/2010 21:24

Great news Pretty - why on earth did they leave you stewing for so long though!! To all the POAS nutters, I'm 3dpo is that too early to test?

littlemiss72 · 16/06/2010 19:12

Hi Ladies, how ya diddling? smells a bit fishy in here with all that haddock

I've been keeping myself busy, working hard hopefully towards an end date for my new job! DP is a bit worried I'm going to turn into a party animal ..

Not really been keeping my on the board of recent, I do however see we have a few BFP pending! Go jollsetr & Muser

I'm on the back burner with the swi because of the role change. I do wonder however if this is sods law, this month

Nice to see you back on the list pretty v go for it woman! Limber up digitalgirl and let the marathon commence.

Off to Ascot tomorrow, nails to paint and hair to do.. woohoo!

Love to all x

digitalgirl · 16/06/2010 18:52

Am laughing along with all the nutters in the insanity corner. Because that was me last week (testing 10dpo with a non-early test?)! Except you are clearly all pg. I sense a tsunami of bfps about to flood the thread.

Glad to hear you got the all-clear pv

yay to dropping hcg hairy

Have been for a run today for the first time in 2.5 years! Felt a bit sick afterwards and only ran/walked 2.5km (took me 25mins, am very slow) BUT I felt really good afterwards. So my plan is coming together nicely. DS has been having bedtimes in his room since Saturday. And only came in with us last night because the poor little thing has had a temperature all week. But hopefully he'll get better in the next few days and the swi marathon will begin in earnest.

I'm actually Cycle 1 (post mc#2) CD7 today - if somebody could update next time that would be most kind.

saffronbun · 16/06/2010 17:21

jollster I am in awe of your non-POAS self-restraint (and haddock).

PrettyV hope the hangover wasn't too epic...mmm, dirty lager.

I'm in a good mood today as mc bleeding FINALLY stopped yesterday...woo!

So now I am looking forward to RTD bleeding to commence instead...and then hopefully some peeing on a stick, followed by barfing my guts up, bloating like a whale and all the other symptoms we know and love.

No wonder men think we are nuts. ~goes over to the insanity corner and plumps up the cushions~

Hope everyone is well & fingers crossed for all on the 2 week wait!

Magic8footballhastheanswers · 16/06/2010 12:51

Good luck to all you crazy end of 2 week waiters......only a few days to go! Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you! Hang in there!!! Think of it this way the money you could save by not POAS you could treat yourself to a pedicure or something nice ?

PrettyVuvu am dead chuffed that all is not as bad as it first seemed x

Nuffink to report my end off work today DD at nursery and housework is calling

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 11:58

am off down the beach to find a bloody HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGE haddock.... .

In other news have some cramping low tummy. Could be RTD, but no spotting still. Who bloody knows? Not me til SATURDAY morning people...

batteryhen · 16/06/2010 11:47

Can I join muser and hopefully in the insanity corner too? I promise to bring my own bean bag I POAS too - BFN, and I am not even due really till Friday. Think I need to lay down in a dark room x

Muser · 16/06/2010 11:26

Think it ought to be a haddock jolls, bigger and slimier.

Hopefully, come sit with me in the insane corner. Let's promise not to POAS again for a good few days yet.

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 10:51

hopefully, where did I leave that kipper....?

Hopefully · 16/06/2010 09:58

Couldn't resist the urge to POAS this morning. Shockingly BFN. Because it was likely to be BFP SIX days before AF is due, even on the off chance that I am PG

Have got sore boobs, but that's not unheard of pre-AF, and I didn't get them till much later with pregnancy that resulted in DS. So, ummm, no symptoms here really.

PrettyV that's great news!

PrettyVuvuzela1 · 16/06/2010 09:18

Cheers Muse
All good things... etc,etc

Feel a bit now.
MrG, ever the voice of reason kept telling me that they won't discuss matters over the phone.
I wound myself up thinking it must be really bad/complicated/sensitive.

Nada.
FFS!

I'm glad that I pushed for a cancellation app and didn't have to wait even longer.
Just got the pesky NKcells to deal with now.
We can blast them with steriods though

Oh well, climbing back up on the rollercoaster again.
As MrG put it
"We're back to square 1 but at least it's on the same board!"

Muser · 16/06/2010 08:56

Lovely seeing you back on the list PrettyV.

youremindmeofthebabe · 16/06/2010 08:41

Yey prettyV that's excellent news! As you say, a bit shit they couldn't tell you earlier!

Ok, thank you for your advice ladies. I shall wait for RTD I think, and then just have a few 'fun' months before ttc proper.

Balls to it.
I'm kidding myself if I think that I'm going to get some sleep now.

Was going to do list and squish myself in there on the crazy lady bit but Jolls beat me to it.

I thought I may as well leap straight in with the lunacy as I've wasted nuff time.

Now lets see where we are....

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 08:06

Delighted to hear you've come to your senses!!! Keep us posted.....

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 08:05

And another thing, an evening test 4 days before RTD due????????????? Muse, Muse, MUSER... can I whack this smelly kipper round your chops?

Will stop hogging thread now.

Muser · 16/06/2010 08:04

Oh and that's the other reason jolls, well remembered! I had EWCM on day 15 and day 18. If I actually oved on day 18 then testing yesterday was sheer lunacy.

Muser · 16/06/2010 08:03

I'm not entirely giving up hope yet. I don't believe in early testing really. Especially using a test that didn't say it could pick up early. So I will wait and see what happens.

But I'm not really buying it. The last 2 times I was pregnant my boobs let me know. They got big, and tender. But not this month.

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 08:01

Meant to say also Muse, last pg I got a BFN day before RTD due, and then didn't test again until 3 days later and then it was a BFP...? You did think you might have Ov later...?

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 08:00

Ooo, XP Muse, sorry about BFN . But (yada yada) symptoms of early pg and impending RTD so blimmin similar it's no wonder we're loopdeloop. Not over until... etc etc etc. Will keep all crossed for us.

randomimposter · 16/06/2010 07:58

Sorry, had to go and separate fighting cats. Quick post to say great news PrettyVUVUVUVUVUVUVUVUVVUVVVUVUVUVUVUV; enjoy your hangover

BB lovely to hear from you, hope you're doing ok.

Hi to everyone else. Day 24 in the Jollster house, which would usually have seen some spotting if not full RTD by now, so trying not to get my hopes up, but loopily I did go and check what my EDD would be if I DO get a BFP this month, and it would be 26/2/11. One year on exactly from my last MMC.... .

Still plan not to POAS til Sat even though my 2 POAS buddies on the 40+ thread (Pollyanna being one of them) have declared themselves out this month . Muse what's your game plan?

Muser · 16/06/2010 07:56

I was a bad Muser and tested last night. BFN. Jollster is the one with the good symptoms, mine are all imaginery or likely to be PMT.
