Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
Muser · 26/06/2010 13:07

Sorry prettyv I was posting from my phone and it lost signal so I actually wrote that post before you did yours. It looks like I was ignoring you in a really blatant way and I wasn't.

So sorry to hear about your friend, and that other 'friend' sounds like someone you ought to cut out of your life if at all possible. If you work together I guess that's difficult.

Magic8footballhastheanswers · 26/06/2010 12:59

oh doll I am sorry to hear about your friend, big squwishes again x

As for your colleague - wont refer to her as friend. WTF! Harsh. Love poor you afterwards. Your turn is coming soon - I have high hopes for me, you and old vivofthecliq this month

Don't be angry with yourself though you are allowed to be bitter, its human nature. Life is too short you are right but if we didn't allow ourselves to feel these emotions we'd go pop.

I need to get off here as DH will bollock me for not finishing my application form and he has just pulled up outside!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Muser · 26/06/2010 11:39

Yippee Moofold!

Fingers crossed for you Jolls - good news it's calming down.

I'm sick as a pig this morning - hooray!

OP posts:
Moofold · 26/06/2010 09:30

Thanks girls, I don't think its sunk in yet. Me and DH keep grinning at each other though.

Not that I want punched on the nose but remember I got a BFN yesterday Hopefully and if there's doubt about your ov day then its not all over yet. Both times before I had lots of symptoms and none this time - the only reason I kept testing was the absence of RTD.

That's good news Jolls hope that things have settled down now.

Sending lots of hugs to MrsPretty - I appreciate you posting even when you are feeling blue. Take care pal x

randomimposter · 26/06/2010 09:19

... S'ok, I deserved it .

Hopefully · 26/06/2010 09:17

Sorry, couldn't resist.

randomimposter · 26/06/2010 09:04

Great news Moo
Sorry to hear that hopefully - won't say the obvious about "not over yet" for fear of a big punch on the nose...

vuvu sorry you're not feeling sunny... am assuming you meant that and not that you were posting from a warzone or a very smelly toilet cubicle...

Thanks for all the reassuring messages. CM much reduced and just a bit dark yellow now. Will POAS again on Monday. Otherwise it's just wait and see.

Hi to all. (PS fab news from Alba on the grads thread and 40+ thread about an excellent NF result - makes you feel all gooey)

PrettyVuvuzela1 · 26/06/2010 08:46

Moof wooooo hooooooooooo!!!!!

Hi all, hi newbies.
Sorry not to hang about I'm not in the best of places at the moment and just had to congratulate moof.

Hopefully · 26/06/2010 08:31

Congrats Moo! That's great! Really happy for you. Try to enjoy it for at least a day or two before getting all neurotic

BFN again this morning for me (on a stupidly expensive CBD). Am pissed off, but resigned to not being PG now - even if I OV'd on CD20 I'd expect a +tve by now if I was PG, so just need RTD to show up so we can get on with things. Have absolutely no symptoms - my number one PG symptom both times was (sorry, TMI) constipation and don't have that now. It's so bloody frustrating not having RTD yet, as until it shows up I can't really move onto the next cycle and start feeling positive again.

Moofold · 26/06/2010 08:02

God, that sounds dreadful now i read it back - I mean your brown/ pink EWCM. Not sure that sounds any better but I hope all is well in the Jollster house x

Moofold · 26/06/2010 08:00

Ok, so you would have thought I would have known better but I PO another stick this morning and got a different result - a BFP!! I actually had to go fetch the stick there to check again before typing this to make sure I hadn't imagined it or got it wrong.

It actually feels a bit surreal. You would have thought that being pregnant twice before I might have noticed but I have not had a single symptom - which is my first reason to start fretting that something is wrong! I'm going to try and enjoy this before I get properly neurotic though and its still very early days. Hurrah!!

What news from you this morning Hopefully - this could be a repeat of what happened to Muser and Jolls finding out together? How are you this morning Jollster with your discharge, all cleared up?

Hopefully · 25/06/2010 21:39

Right, have just checked back through thread (so useful for working out when things happened!) and random EWCM was on CD19, so feasibly I might have OV'd on CD20, which would make me only 11 DPO at the moment. It would be totally unheard of for me to OV so late in my cycle, as I always OV on around CD14, but I suppose everyone has to have the occasional strange cycle. Normal luteal phase for me is around 13-14 days, very occasionally only 12, so assuming OV on CD20 I might not get RTD for another couple of days. Urgh. So frustrating

Have absolutely no PG symptoms whatsoever, which is not helping me keep the spark of hope. At least it looks like I didn't order my fertility monitor (and thermometer. Belt and braces) in vain!

Moo sorry to find you might be joining me in another month. Maybe if we whinge enough our respective RTDs will come back from their holidays and put in an appearance. Still hoping you're wrong and there's no RTD for you though!

Moofold · 25/06/2010 21:07

Hopefully we might be cycle buddies after all, although I'm hoping for us both we won't be. I tested this morning and BFN, which was totally expected. I don't even know why I bothered because I have been taking ibuprofen for cramp since Tuesday and feel totally PMTd. I'm in agony and convinced RTD has arrived about ten times a day.

There are no pg symptoms Loopy, not even madey up ones like I usually have! Where is RTD though? Is it hanging out somewhere with Hopefully's stupid RTD? I ov'd early this month and it should have been here by now. I don't really feel like finding a positive here but at least I've had a 13 day luteal phase when I normally have 12 days and the last two cycles were 10 and 11 days. Its still fucking shit though, right before my due date as well to add insult to injury

Clare I hope you manage to get some answers and a bit more info. Sure its nothing to worry about but the docs should realise that you are bound to be anxious and should be doing more - in between watching the footie.

That's good news Muser you are getting a scan, that should give you some reassurance. No idea what could be happening to you Jolls - keeping everything crossed its a good sign as Muser says of the beanster settling in!

Hope everything is good for all the others. I've cracked open a rather special bottle of 15 year old rioja to console myself - help yourselves girls

digitalgirl · 25/06/2010 18:16

hopefully yes, it was tough not knowing what was happening, lots of tears and 'we can try again' conversations. But suddenly half way through the holiday started developing really strong symptoms - ms, sore boobs which was VERY reassuring.
So, if you're CD31 today and you reckon you might have ov'ed on CD18 (or could it have been the next day?) that makes you potentially 13dpo. Do you know how long your luteal phase is?

Hopefully · 25/06/2010 18:07

DG I remember all the drama with your DS's pregnancy - didn't you have an awful holiday in the early days with the spotting?

Have had browny coloured CM today too Jolls. Are you me? I also didn't spot with MC, just started full on bleeding almost immediately.

Am going to be so pissed off when I (inevitably) get a BFN tomorrow. Where is stupid RTD?

digitalgirl · 25/06/2010 17:55

jolls I spotted during weeks 4-8 with my pregnancy with DS. The two times I miscarried, I didn't spot at all but had one day of brown cm followed by full on mc bleeding...so I reckon your ok. (I actually had bright red implantation spotting at 7dpo for exactly one toilet wipe in the last pg, but it wasn't followed by days of brown cm, so I still reckon your alright).

Thanks so much for your lovely birthday wishes yeseterday. Had the most wonderful day. And as pleased as I would be to get a BFP, I'm feeling like I could cope if I didn't get pg for the next couple of months. I'm enjoying being me. I like my job, DS is getting easier to look after (apart from the tantrums), family-life is generally happier, have a lot to be thankful for.

Feeling rough today though. Not from a hangover, that would make things so much worse, but from this flipping hayfever. I have about ten bites on my back from eating al fresco last night (food was delish though). I can't believe I can't sit outside in the summer in THIS country without either sneezing my eyes inside out or getting eaten alive by stupid little bitey beasties. I've smeared myself with anti-histamine cream but for some reason still don't want to take anti-histamine tablets.

Have to sort the house out. We're having a little barbecue with some friends tomorrow and I'm embarrassed at the state of our house (covered in crayon, crumbs and garish plastic toys).

Muser · 25/06/2010 17:17

Try not to think about the spotting jolls, hopefully it's just the little bean burrowing deeper in and making itself comfy. I have everything crossed for you.

randomimposter · 25/06/2010 16:40

hopefully our bodies are so blimmin mean to us
Here's hoping .

Muse glad things sorted themselves out in the end. Eek... a scan! Ohmygodyou'rerightitreallyis....

Slightly pink and glowing (alright red and sweaty) wave to all.
