Hi all,

Brand new thread!

I started it so I must get a BFP before the end - them's the rules.

OP posts:
hairytriangle · 05/07/2010 18:25

Oh Muser that's fab

Happy birthday Viv

VivClicquot · 05/07/2010 17:16

Ivy, are you sure you're not upduffed? I'd POAS again, as I have to say all your symptoms sound promising.

muser - that's brilliant, so I hope you're feeling reassured. The next two weeks until the next scan will fly by.

Dearest moo - I forgot to say earlier that I'm sorry your day yesterday didn't quite go to plan. Hope things seem a bit brighter today

StickThemWithThePointyEnd · 05/07/2010 16:28

muser - that's great news about the scan/

Happy Birthday, Viv.

northern I know the feeling. I obsessively often look at my chart and the DPO count and conclusions on FF and imagine hope they change in my favour.

Well, I've had a crazy day. Insane cramping, keep thinking RTD has arrived and dash to the loo, only to find that I have EWCM??
Then I decided to POAS again, and I got a pink line and a white one where the second line would be if I was pregnant?!? that has to be a faulty test.. I am starting to wonder if I didn't ov afterall.. grr. I hate my body.

clareanna · 05/07/2010 12:34

fab news Sarah everything crossed for you x

northerngoldilocks · 05/07/2010 11:37

muser thats great news re the bean being in the right place. Hope the next 2 weeks are less stressful!

Sarah - congrats - a line is a line!

I think that I'm working on learning that no matter how much I stare at the 'DPO' section on fertility friend, it isn't going to make it move forward. Given that it has changed my ovulation date 4 times now I don't think it (or I) have a clue when / if I ovulated! Despite this I'm still willing the days to pass so can POAS - currenly only at 6DPO (which may or may not be true!). May need someone to bring out the haddock!

digitalgirl · 05/07/2010 11:30

Oh and excellent news on the bean being in the right place this time muser

digitalgirl · 05/07/2010 11:28

Happy Birthday viv hope you had lots of cliquot to celebrate.

Well, not entirely convinced I've ovulated. Am waiting for cervix to close before i can officially declare myself on the 2ww. However opk was neg last night so lh surge has been and gone. And temp seemed a little higher this morning. But it's only my 3rd recorded temp this cycle so not particularly conclusive.

This has happened before, had a +ve opk then didn't get rtd till 4 weeks later - first attempt failed so body tried again 2 weeks after +ve opk. Thought ewcm was a pregnancy symptom, doh! Wasn't temping then either.

Anyway - fingers crossed I won't be going through that again and the acupuncture and electroshizzle has worked it's magic. DH was mercifully obliging last night. Love him.

Am tentatively 1dpo.

Freezingmyarseoff · 05/07/2010 11:18

So glad for you Muser that you can relax a bit now the first scan is out of the way. It is hard though not to be able to enjoy it quite the same way anymore

Moof so sorry things weren't as you wanted them at the weekend. Men just don't think sometimes.

Congrats Sarah

Hairy so pleased you can join the list again

Viv Tis always hard to hear about other people's pregnancies, especially if you're close to them. It will be your time very soon, I'm sure of it.

Waves to everyone else

Muser · 05/07/2010 10:21

Hey all. Positive news from scan. There's a sac and a yolk sac in my wombular. She couldn't see the baby yet but said that's not unusual at this stage. I am numb. Being scanned again in 2 weeks.

VivClicquot · 05/07/2010 08:54

Heeheehee, thank you for the birthday wishes you lovely ladies.

I had a super relaxed day with DH, going to a local festival nearby and chilling out at home. 33 is the new 23, doncha know?

As some of you know, I had a slight wibble on Saturday evening when my best friend announced she was pregnant at my birthday party. Great timing, or what? Obviously I love her enourmously and am thrilled, but did have a touch of the green eyed monster - especially as it turns out it is INCREDIBLY early days, so while I was peeing on my stick on Monday evening and getting a BFN, she was doing exactly the same and getting a BFP. How peculiar.

She decided to tell us immediately - partly because she knew she couldn't get away with not drinking at my bash, but also because we're so busy that we only ever manage to all be in the same place at the same time about once every couple of months, and she wanted to tell us together. Which, to be honest, is exactly what I would have done so am feeling a bit less about the birthday thing... (I'm SUCH a birthday diva!)

Anyway, hope you all had lovely weekends.

sarahmia - that's lovely news, honey. Congratulations xx

Much love xxx

Good luck for tomorrow Muser, you must be feeling so nervous. Catch up with your news tomorrow x

Muser · 04/07/2010 22:29

Sorry it didn't go as planned moo, hope you're feeling a bit better now. It must be such a hard time just now.

Thanks for the good wishes jolls and BUnder. I am terrified, cried all over MrM earlier this evening panicking that it was going to be bad news. I wish I could fast forward this bit.

BUnderTheBonnet · 04/07/2010 22:16

Wooohooo Sarahmia! That's great news.

Sorry about your day, Moo. Consider yourself very hugged.

Delilah I've had the same thing happen to me, and it really sucks. Sorry.

Thanks to everyone for the wedding stuff.. I would phone them tomorrow, but I somehow get the feeling OH is chickening out - we were thinking of being spontaneous and get married when we go on holiday in 6 weeks. But obviously, even being together for 7 years does not prepare a man for marriage.

Nothing much else to report from here, I'm symptom spotting like crazy, cramping, sore boobs, sensitive to smells and soo tired, but I fear that most of those are down to DS being a little bugger last night and chewing my nipples to pieces, then jumping around on our bed from 5am, and because of impending RTD.

Great news Sarahmia

Sorry your day hasn't gone to plan Moo and you haven't been able to do any of the lovely things to remember. I hope you have yourself a big old bar of choccy. Big hugs xxxx

Digit hoping DH sorts himself out!!

Glad things are looking normal RTD wise Hairy, I can't really give you any advice but try not to fret too much x

That is pants delliah think we've nearly all been got like that before, so unpredictable hope the chilli choc has helped

No idea about your reg office sorry Ivy, best off calling them tomorrow.

Well its been nausea all day in camp Magic but from too much of the good stuff .......I started off having white wine and soda but gave in so quickly seeing as it was one of me oldest mates hen doooo! I have no will power and have probably picked anything that might be floating around I haven't stopped eating all day and I am sooooooooo looking forward to my dinner that is cooking right now!!!! Num Nums!!!!

hairytriangle · 04/07/2010 18:57

Sarah Congrats! try not to fret, a line is a line is a line!

everyone thanks for your lovely congrats and good wishes.

AF seems pretty normal this time. I'm kind of fretting about when I will left ovulate, and the possibility of getting PG in the right side, and what if they can't unblock the tube.

I'm wondering if they would take away the right tube and give me clomid so that the left goes crazy, but how will I know for sure I have good eggs in the left? What if the doc won't send me for a laporoscopy. And is there any way of knowing for sure which ovary is ovulating?

I'm another abandoned temp'er. I kept forgetting and didn't really understand hw it works.

And other such frets.

I guess I need to wait to see the doctor. I also guess i have to get over to him without being over the top that I really need some answers very quickly because of my age!

digitalgirl · 04/07/2010 17:23

Many congratulations sarahmia!

moof sorry to hear your remembrance didn't go as planned. Hope you get to plant the mapple soon and watch it grow.

Dh is ill. Not sure what this means for our swi plan tonight. He's being a proper grump about it as well. I am hoping he gets over it in the next few hours. Selfish, moi?

Moofold · 04/07/2010 17:10

Hey Sarahmia that's great news - I was wondering when you were going to get round to testing! My BFP was faint at first and I did another (and a digi) about 5 days later which looked stronger. I've also had no symptoms, which freaked me out but lots of others have said they've had full term healthy babies with no symptoms at first. Although I do have slightly strange sensations in the boobs last few days.

Battery its pretty early in the cylce to suggest this but my temp would dip a few days before I ov'd - quite noticeably. Other things that gave me low temps was when I was ill or didn't get enough sleep.

Delilah I gave up trying to work out what was going on with my cycles at first. Hang on in there!

Well we had to wait until today to release the laterns because DH ended up working all day and night yesterday. Except there is a full blown storm up here, poured all morning and only just calming down now. We went to a lovely spot about 2 hours ago to try. Candle wouldn't light in wind, tried in the car, lighter ran out of gas then the latern got torn apart by the gale force winds. So had huge row with DH and came straight home. We also bought a mapple to replace the one that died but its too windy to plant it. So we have done none of the things I wanted to do to remember the day. Can't even console myself with some wine!

If only we had the same outlook as men. DH asked me what was wrong yesterday morning when I was sobbing. I think I gave him a fright and he thought something was going wrong with this pregnancy. When I told him what was wrong he looked puzzled, although knowing it was the due date. I asked if he was not sad and he said he was at the time but has moved on now. Imagine it were that easy, men are so different!

Its awful quiet here last few days, hope everyone is good. Waves to Loopy, Ivy, Northern and anyone else about x

sarah that is brilliant, I know you want to be cautious but as we all know - a line is line. It might have been faint as you did it at night?

I will do a sticky bean dance for you too (BH gets out pompoms and shakes her funky stuff )

sarahmia · 04/07/2010 15:56

i am
to be honest last time when we lost the baby i actually had MORE symptoms than usual cos my HCG levels were through the roof cos the baby had triple chromosones.
