Thanks LUcieB, we've done some good promo work for persona. Bloody thing though - I'm now obsessed by the LH line I'm getting, poor egypt has been fab though and she's got enought o think about! The exercise if defo working, I've done 3 walks this week and feel great. This next baby is going to have a fit mum if it kills me!!
Egypt, good luck chuck, it's so annoying when you forget to ask something cos you get so excited etc.. I do it every time! Hope this cycle is successful for you xxxxx

Egypt · 21/08/2003 10:51

Hi Bunny
I'm sure you are right. Started 1st pill on day 2 of cycle. Now just day 11. Will keep testing. Read somewhere that often with PCO the LH level is initially high when taking the last few pills and you should def not start to test until 4 days after the last one, or you may get a false positive. Maybe that's why the line seems to be fainter than it was when I tested on day 8. oops, me getting impatient. No not having a day 21 prog test this month. For some reason the cons said wait until the 2nd cycle if i'm not preg by the first. Strange. He also said not to worry about scans in the first couple of goes but that does worry me. Read so much that you should have them to check for over/understimulation and development of cysts which i have already. I really should have brought all this up with him, I was just so excited that he was finally giving me clomid. What day of your cycle are you on?

LucieB · 21/08/2003 09:30

HD and Splash - many congrats.
I count myself, quackers and you who all fell pg in the first month of using Persona. Hope everyone is ok - quackers, best of luck with the ttc when you start again. I would definitely recommend exercise as a good way to kick-start things. And as we are approaching the end of summer, its good to start a routine now that you can continue through the winter months.

quackers · 21/08/2003 08:24

Good luck Sibble!!! LOL Qxx Speak soon - bon voyage!!
Hi Egypt, good to hear from u!!

bunny2 · 20/08/2003 21:05

Egypt, when did you start taking the clomid (what day of your cycle)? I would be surprised if ov was so soon after the last pill. Perhaps you need a higher dose. Are you having a day 21 blood test?

sibble · 20/08/2003 20:09

Congrats to Splash and HD. Good luck to everybody else and will be joining you all again in about a month after trip back to UK. Very excited now as leave Sat. Quackers look forward to chatting with you again then Take care.

hewlettsdaughter · 20/08/2003 19:08

Thanks for your messages, everyone. Not sure that calm is the right word for how I feel, quackers... jittery, more like! Not feeling particularly pregnant, but have an appointment with the doc tomorrow so hoping to be reassured.
Munchk2n - good luck with Persona. I have just used it this last month - I got an 'o' symbol on days 13 and 14 (though you don't always get an 'o' the first cycle, apparently).

Egypt · 20/08/2003 17:16

Hi all, just checked this thread, since had ANOTHER lightening strike the modem! So sorry to hear about your news Quackers.
Congratulations to Splash and HD. You lucky things. Keep positive.
Bunny - finished my 5 days course on treatment Saturday. Am doing OPKs everyday now, but the line is getting fainting. Dont know if the pills have worked or if they made me ov a day or 2 after the last tablet and I missed the surge. Hope not. Maybe you are preg. Wait a couple of days and test again. Good luck!

quackers · 20/08/2003 15:55

Bunnyxx, no I haven't done since myy DD was born.I was a lovely size 12 then and I'm tall so was just right. After birth I went back to size 12 cos I swam all the time. Then that was it, working, babay, house etc.. no time for exercise, put on nearly 2 stone!! Urgh, would love to be even a stone lighter for my next pg - it just so helps and my birth was quick and fairly easy ( no less painful though)!! Re tests, good luck and maybe try again in a couple of days. When did u ov/ Do you temp check?

niknik · 20/08/2003 10:51

Congrats HD

bunny2 · 20/08/2003 10:31

Splash and HD CONGRATULATIONS . I am very envious but thrilled for you both.

Quackers, great to hear to sound so positive and good luck with the exercise, I never seem to get round to it myself.

Well, I have no af, about 4 days late now and 4 neg pg tests. The clomid was prescribed to regulate my cycle but it doesnt seem to be working, (unless of course I am pg but dont think so, not with so many neg tests). Costing a fortune too.

BigBird · 20/08/2003 09:57

ahhh quackers, thanks! I hope i'm not here when you come back either but if I am we can keep each other company! I hope you are feeling ok.

hd - huge congrats too.....

quackers · 20/08/2003 09:27

Hi Bigbird. Hang in there chuck. It comes easier to some than to others I know. Will be back ttc soon and hope you;re not here then - in the nicest possible way!! xxxxxx

quackers · 20/08/2003 09:21

Congratulations HD!!!! Totally delighted for you. xxxxx
Splash, I know it's really tough but pls try not to panick etcc.. It did me no favours, I was having panick attacks and was beside myself. Maybe have a nice pedicure, massage and go and get a early scan for reassurance. HD you sound well calm! gOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH.

Munchk2n · 20/08/2003 09:04

Pants pants pants. AF arrived this morning. Better get the Persona instruction book out.

Congrats splash and hewlettsdaughter! Bunny2 any news?

hewlettsdaughter · 20/08/2003 07:45

Hi splash, I'm not having many symptoms at the moment. I didn't know I was pregnant before I did the test whereas I was pretty sure I was before both times I miscarried (weird, huh!). Thanks for the encouragement, especially given your experience last pregnancy. I hope you are ok. HD x

splash · 20/08/2003 07:32

Hewslettsdaughter congratulations!! we are at exactly the same stage. i am feeling the same as you very nervous. i keep thinking things are going to go wrong. my boobs have an odd tingle like i used to have when i was coming on and it has been scaring me. i feel a pressure where my womb is. i am also thinking that you can miscarry without bleeding - this is making me worried also. i know how you feel hd it felt great to get the positive but its like the worrying is far from over. i was thinking about doing another test today to see if i was still making anymore hcg but i think this can still stay in your body if you have just miscarried. last test i did was on sunday and it was deeper than the boots test line. i think for the best hd you need to start to think positive.i am very pleased for you what symptoms are you having? how are you gemma?

Bogwoppit · 20/08/2003 00:23

congrats Splash & hewlettsdaughter may you bring luck to us all

hana · 19/08/2003 20:15

hana

hewlettsdaughter · 19/08/2003 19:50

Hi all. Splash - I am pregnant too! Got a positive test Saturday evening, and have just done another to confirm. Not sure how I feel about it though - I am currently at the stage (4 and a half, nearly 5 weeks) that I miscarried in March and again in May. So not sure I'm ready for congratulations yet... Feeling like I need to be very cautious, want to protect myself from getting too excited.
Sorry, I know many of you would love to be in the position I'm in now. Good luck to all.

BigBird · 19/08/2003 17:17

CONGRATS SPLASH
I'm soooo jealous!

U must be delighted ! Tell us more - did you 'feel' pregnant before u tested.

Sadly my af arrived on Sunday (day 29). I'm so p'd off now. Temping and ov sticks show everything is right for ov on day 12-14 and 7 mths have gone by and nothing.....
I hope i'll be joining you very soon.

HD - any news ?

LucieB · 19/08/2003 11:52

Quackers - you sound a whole lot better. Your positive attitude should be an inspiration to everyone who reads this thread. Best of luck with the exercise. As a former fitness freak, I can definitely recommend it - it really does help to lift your self-esteem. Unfortunately, what with working full-time and being a mum to ds who is a very active 11.5 months, I don't get the time any more.
Best of luck with the ttc when you start again.

AND many congratulations Splash - hope all goes well for you and hope you are feeling ok.

quackers · 19/08/2003 09:18

Congratulations Splash!! I wasn't sure if had missed something and didn't know or you had just found out. I'm really pleased for you! First month on OPK/Persona too like myself and lucyb!! Just shows that it does work!!! Yes it really knocks your confiedence, especially so late as you don't expect it after 12 weeks. I'm rooting for you and your tiny one!! Good luck to all, there have been so many successes lately, even if some haven't gone to term, we will eventually. LOL xxx
Bunny - hiya chuck, looks like I'll be lurking for a bit, but I feel great. Have strated a new walking regime to loose a little weight. That's my goal for the next 2-3 months.!!

splash · 19/08/2003 09:10

Thankyou. I think it will be due in april. I would definately recommend clearblue ov sticks.I had used the whole packet before i got my lh surge!
How about you hewlettsdaughter and big bird how are you getting on?
I know quackers you will be looking at this thread and i just wanted to say that i am really sorry about what has happened to you. I hope things will work out for you. A very similar thing happened with my last preg that happened to you with your first mis. i am really feeling for you.
i am really worried. i used to think before that things were ok if they got passed the first 12 weeks and thought i was ok at carrying babies. i got to half way through before. i will be feeling really anxious all the way through for various reasons, and will never become complacent at whatever stage i am at.
good luck to everyone this definately is a lucky thread!! come on someone else join me for april. hehe!!

Jemma7 · 19/08/2003 08:43

Congratulations Splash
Can you work out your EDD?
