Hello there, I am so sorry I couldn't hold on any longer and I POAS this morning after a quick nip to town after dropping off dd's at school and nursery. I should be doing 100 other things but I just had to do it.

And .... a faint positive, tis faint so I am not sure it qualifies as a bfp but there is a line and I don't have to squint too much . Its just a cheapy boots one. I'll do the other on Friday.

Sooooooooo excited . Good luck to everyone else testing soon.

Sorry AF got you ljg72 lots of baby dust for your next cycle .

Hang in there ttc its tough waiting, I hope you get somme answers soon.

Orchid why not put your name down for the lap the appointment might be ages away. You can always delay it if you don't want it. In my case I am sure that if I hadn't had investigations I would still be trying for no 1. I had a HSG which I am convinced cleared my tubes after 2 yrs ttc no 1, no 2 came first time of trying and now no.3. It might sound unpleasant but it might work. Give yourself some time to think about it .

Orchid12 · 23/06/2010 07:44

Congrats Sunchild. Lots of BFP's it seems at the moment!

Well, I had my gynae appt on Monday. Needless to say it was a very undignified affair . Had a scan and various 'internals' which basically showed nothing! So no idea what this pain is in my left hand side. They suggested I go for a laporoscopy to see if they can do a more detailed search but I've said to hold off on that for a bit longer. I don't like the sound of it!!

Not sure what is happening this month cycle wise either. Have been ovulating on day 18 for a few months now but am currently on day 19 with no signs. Gah. How are you supposed to TTC when things seem to happen randomly?!?

Orchid xx

ttcnofour · 23/06/2010 07:31

congrts sunchild.

yep phoned gp and have been told 2 phone back friday when af is a week late 2 arrange a blood test.

Congrats Sunchild!!! another BFP!!!.

My AF finally arrived today, kinda glad really, at least it means everything is getting back to normal.
So I'm hopping off the bus for now, and will be looking out for the next one.

Good luck ladies, will keep an eye on this one to see how all is doing X

delilahbelle · 23/06/2010 06:46

Massive congratulations sunchild come join us on the grad thread. Loads of babydust to everyone else... and luck for those testing soon.

theteasonme · 22/06/2010 22:01

Yay!! Congrats sunchild xx

Miffles · 22/06/2010 21:42

lol to mycat - I actually read that out to my DH...he is also laughing away. You have it spot on!!

Madasajarofwasps · 22/06/2010 21:28

lol mycat that is my theory on men and ladies stuff to a tea !!

Madasajarofwasps · 22/06/2010 21:26

Whoopee - congratulations another bfp!! You must be so excited .

Right you have given me the resolve to wait a bit longer to test ....

Congrats again

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 22/06/2010 21:23

Aw, thanks Miffles... glad to have made you smile after what sounds like a tough day.

As for DH's - I have come to the conclusion that they really can't help it. I reckon they're genetically programmed to go to their happy place when any conversation or situation hits the "emotional" or "women's stuff" triggers. Hit both at once and that's full blown auto-shut down mode...

Wow - Sunchild77 - that's fantastic news Congrats to you

Miffles · 22/06/2010 21:21

Yay sunchild yay!!

sunchild77 · 22/06/2010 21:11

Hi

I got a BFP today Am so surprised as wasnt expecting to see a line (tested negative at the weekend)
Today is cycle day 27, and the line was there...

It hasnt sank in yet.....Please could someone tentatively add me to the graduates list

Sunchild77 #3 22/06/10

Lots of good luck to everyone left on the bus, Really hope to see you on an expecting board soon..

Miffles · 22/06/2010 20:48

Welcome MyCats - your story made me smile! The things we put ourselves through! I bet your DH is completely oblivious of the traumas you're going through at the moment! I love the fact you said "until Sept"! Fingers crossed for you.

Keep the control your POAS-people....gotta wait another few days yet! It's great that we have 2 BFP already - congrats B and deliliah if I haven't said so already.

I had bloods taken today (and cried - such a wuss) and also a chlamydia swab....it was basically a smear. Not nice. After 2 weeks of AF piddling around, I've had 2 days off with no bleed and then the smear has made me bleed again . So not impressed!
DH was fondled by a doctor as well, and is still to give his sample . Why does it make me chuckle, that it makes him so uncomfotable? Am i a bad wife?!

I so know what totallyfloaty means...my DH randomly comes out with comments about the world already being populated enough. What is that about???!!! Have given him an article to read about PCOS (from the Daily Mail, so he should understand it!) but he hasn't read it yet. I wonder if he is actually engaging in this process at all(hence smirking about him having his bits checked!). Sigh

theteasonme · 22/06/2010 20:41

delilah may I suggest you skip the gp and book a 'booking in' appointment with the midwife - in my experience the gp is just a formality where they check you're taking folic acid etc then tell you to see the midwife. Mine didn't even check I was actually pg!

xx teason

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 22/06/2010 20:28

Hi all,

Can I join for a short hop?

Big congrats to B and Delilah, baby dust to everyone else...

I've been lurking for the past week or so feeling like a ttc forum fraud as dh and I weren't actually ttc this month (planning to start in Sept) but got a bit carried away with the romance of a trip away without ds for a friends wedding at just the right time.

Anyway, I have now swung between being definitely pregnant and definitely bonkers so many times I've lost count, am even symptom spotting in my dreams, POAS at a ridiculously early 6 dpo even thought I knew it would be BFN and I can't tell you how much better it's made me feel to know I'm not the only one going through this 2ww hell! I have a FRER sitting in the draw which I reckon is worth a try on thursday.

So, for this month only (until sept) I am MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes ttc#2 cycle 1 ucl 27-30 cd23

BUnderTheBonnet · 22/06/2010 20:15

ttc did you phone your GP?

Madasajarofwasps · 22/06/2010 20:10

Welcome aboard unimummy I hope this is a lucky month for you. Fingers crossed you'll be ovulating regularly soon .

Rockbird I hope you are okay. I am starting to crumble with my resolve not to test. I really must try to wait til Thurs and not change my plans tomorrow just so I can pass a chemist. The not knowing is tough.

Bunderbonnet and Delilahbelle I hope you have some company soon. Some people at the front of teh bus should be testing soon, oh I really hope we have some more bfp's on here.

UniMummy · 22/06/2010 19:09

Hi everyone . Been lurking here for a while but very new to actually posting! Congrats to those with a bfp

I'm in the 2nd month of ttc as af got me today. My stats are ttc#2 cycle2 ucl 29 cd1, (i think that's right?!) Not holding out much hope for a while though as have only just started medication for a thyroid issue that was stopping ovulation. Tried for several months last year with no luck, but this bus will hopefully bring us all luck this time!

delilahbelle · 22/06/2010 17:51

I'll join you B - it would B rude not to. (ho ho ho)

BUnderTheBonnet · 22/06/2010 17:05

Here's the grad's thread. There's a few people coming up to POAS, so hopefully it will start to fill up soon. Otherwise, I'll keep posting to myself to keep it bumped...

Rockbird · 22/06/2010 14:35

I have no self control at all Oh well...

Madasajarofwasps · 22/06/2010 13:28

Madasajarofwasps · 22/06/2010 13:20

Rockbird I admire your self control!!! Aw I totally understand your impatience. I almost cracked and went to Boots today, but resisted. There are no tests in the house so I can't test and tomorrow I won't have the opportunity to get one so it looks like Thursday might be the day. Why is it when you think you should test all the symptoms seem to fade away??! So sorry its another BFN but you are testing early [finger waving emoticon] so there is still hope. Try and hang on til Thurs at the earliest

totallyfloaty that is tough, but I have to say men just don't seem to get excited about this baby making malarkey. To them there is another month and another month, but to us we have a real sense of urgency. Hope you get to talk when he comes back. Keep your chin up

Fed up with waiting now - I NEED to know!!

delilahbelle · 22/06/2010 13:11

Sorry to hear that Impatient hopefully another cycle will make all the difference.

Totallyfloaty I know where you are with 'd'h changing their mind... in the early days for us mine would be saying yes/no within every day. Talking about it helped, and spending time with his cute niece and nephew. I'll keep my fingers crossed things work out for you.

Rockbird STEP AWAY FROM THE STICK it's too early, fingers crossed you are this cycle and it's too early to tell.

sillybilly welcome to the bus, hope you have a fruitful journey.

As for me... still pregnant, too scared to start a thread in Ante-natal though, it feels too early.
Tried to make an appointment with the doctor - mine isn't in today and stupid receptionist wouldn't book me in for a time after work tomorrow, just said I would have to phone an take my chance. I can see me having to take hours off just for a 10min appointment with the GP. Grr NHS.
