think back to the old days it was quite normal to knock out 9 0r 10 lol!!
I had a very annoying chat with MIL this morning...on mon she was full of sympathy "oh u can try again...blah blah blah" 4 days on i told her we were planning to have #5 by next year now im getting the "you should wait a bit longer, now its your choice don't rush into it blah blah blah" im so getting the feeling she thinks we will change our minds...why do people feel they have a say in what we do with our lives we are both in our early 30s and both working what is her problem!!!!!

I am ttc #5 as well I was done after 3 and there is an 11 year age gap between my youngest dd and my ds (16 months) but when i met my DH we felt that we needed to add to my already existent family, now weve had him we think it will be nice for him to have a sibling near to him in age (thats if i ever concieve!) although i am 39 in Jan so i feel it is getting a bit late in the game.

BUnderTheBonnet · 27/05/2010 09:32

Surely after a certain point, one more DC doesn't make any difference? For example, 17 children or 18 children - no difference really.

busymum05 · 27/05/2010 08:12

hiya ttcnofour
The thing is only you know yourself how many you want, its weird as i thought i had finished at 4 and felt complete, but after losing #5 i feel there is someone missing from my family. Everyone has said they know we can cope with 5DC but think we are mental lol!!!

ttcnofour · 27/05/2010 07:56

heya

sorry for ur loss busymum and delilahbelle

af has finally gone so goin 2 get swi later wen dh coms home from work.

busymum people think we r nuts for having another baby aswell! is there a limit before people think uve lost the plot

busymum05 · 26/05/2010 19:25

BUnderTHEBonnet and delilahbelle exactly the same here,i didn't plan to have 5DC but when we found out and had decided to go ahead i was really excited about being a mummy again so was devestated when MC started on sun (sad)
some people think we are mad having 5 but i so desperately want this and so does DH i just want to be pregnant again its a good thing to be able to hold onto knowing that we will have a new baby one day v soon. sorry about your loss too and wishing us all good luck for march babies xxxxx

KingLouis · 26/05/2010 19:09

Feeling mightily confused but think this is the right bus for me- hello.

I was ready to celebrate the arrival of a new cycle but then my period stopped as soon as it started

This is my first time TTC and the first cycle since having a mirena coil removed so I just don't know what's going on.

Can anyone help or advise?

Am so sorry for your loss busymum, I had a chem preg/ v early miscarriage a few months ago, I'm still not over it emotionally. I just want to be pregnant again.

DH has count and motility issues, it took us a looong time to get pregnant before, so I am not holding out any real hope, but at least posing on here keeps me sane.

Hugs to all

BUnderTheBonnet · 26/05/2010 18:18

Hi busymum and sorry for your loss. I did exactly the same last month - stopped me going insane...

busymum05 · 26/05/2010 16:23

Miffles · 25/05/2010 18:10

Evening all.
Went to the docs today and have been referred to have a scan done to see if I am PCOS or not. Pleased that something is happening. He reminded me that people do fall pg with PCOS, so to keep trying.

So, I'm with you womanlytales going with the flow! Have no control over anything

Rockbird · 25/05/2010 13:37

Welcome womanlytales

I was so convinced I was pg last week, I was feeling really sick, nearly being sick, I was falling asleep everywhere. I seriously did not expect to get BFN. Like the others here I was expecting to get pg first time round like I did with DD and it's a shock to the system that it didn't happen.

womanlytales · 25/05/2010 11:46

Can I join too? Have added my name to the Tuesday stat list:

BUnderTheBonnet ttc#2 cycle 2 ucl 35 cd 6
WomanlyTales ttc#1 cycle 3 ucl 28-33 cd 5 miffles ttc#1 cycle (?6?) ucl 17 cd 4
delilahbelle ttc#1 cycle 3 ucl 28-29 cd 2
rockbird ttc#2 cycle 2 ucl 31 cd 1
ttcnofour ttc#4 cycle 3 ucl 28 cd4
mrs elf ttc#1

I did the due date calculator and realized that I could either be Feb or Mar depending on my cycle length.
ttconfour totally hear you on the convincing self of being pg - I just can't believe all the symptoms I experience and yet BFN. This cycle we've decided not to monitor and just go with the flow....
Have PCOS so it's a big relief not to be temping.

Rockbird · 25/05/2010 11:08

Tum te tum te tum... Long winded all this, isn't it? Why can't cycles be a fortnight instead?

BUnderTheBonnet · 25/05/2010 09:28

Hmm....nope. I'm stil in full on obsession mode. So is DH, fortunately. He's as into dates as I am. But not the mucus...

ttcnofour · 25/05/2010 09:02

was the same with my ds. so i duno y it takin longer this tym.

i get upset every month as i convince myself im pg then af turns up. goin 2 try and not obsess as much this month

OP posts:
BUnderTheBonnet · 25/05/2010 08:13

Yep - was actively trying with dd1 - fell pg first try. Second month with mc, but 1st month wa a weird short cycle for some reason. Was kind of expecting to fall pg again straigtaway, so AF was a bit of a blow.
