I have redone Sunday's stats with me sitting quietly at the back. Actually, that's a lie, since I've got the wine and cocktails going on back here! I'm giving up cycle days, etc, as it makes no sense with me!! rubberduckies - i think i'm pleased that PCOS is confirmed. Cos it means we know what we're dealing with and we can work with that. reckon it would be worse if it wasn't PCOS and then I'd wonder what on earth I was meant to do!!

I was taking the pill and had a proper AF 5 weeks after coming off. But that was it!! Only proper one I've had, so don't think my body is a reliable comparison for your friend It is said it can take up to 6 months to settle, but i think within a few monts is far more common.

8rubberduckies you're welcome to it! I didn't plan to give it up so soon, but my DH seems to be taking quite an interest in my health nowadays! (Either that, or he wants it all to himself!)

And I was using the mirena. My period came the day after I had it out (but I think I was still having them even while it was in, and it was due). So no idea about the pill, sorry!

Hi theteasonme. Great name!

8rubberduckies · 12/06/2010 13:03

Welcome nearlyknockedupgirl I jumped off the bus and grabbed your wine, hope you don't mind? I need it for all the SWI we're doing at the moment, to get my spirits up . There's some here if you change your mind and Good Luck! Let's hope it's as lucky a bus as the Feb bus; loads of BFPs over there!

Do you mind if I ask how long it took before your AF came back after you stopped the pill? (I am presuming you were taking the pill) A close friend of mine came off the pill 3 months ago and is worrying because she hasn't had a period yet.

Hello ladies! Due to the arrival today of my first post-contraceptive period, I think I might actually officially be trying for a March baby. So, erm, hope it's OK if I get on board?

Rockbird · 12/06/2010 10:33

Testing on the 25th and not a minute before so if you see me on here waving sticks, slap me!

Hi bbp. I was born on my mum's birthday and my mum was born on my grandmother's birthday so three generations of women born on the same day. It's a mixed blessing

babybumpplease · 12/06/2010 00:33

Hi Ladies,

I haven't been on for a while, but I'm back and concentrating on TTC for a March baby (if I conceive I could be due on my birthday which would be lovely )

Bye for now xx

When is your test date, Rockbird? Mine is no earlier than Wednesday 23rd June. My God, that seems ages away. We may need to restrain each other. No test pact????

Rockbird · 11/06/2010 20:52

2ww here too. Am. Not. Going. To. Test. Till. AF. Due. Definitely not. I must have done 20 tests last month. What a waste of money effort.

Poor DH just asked if we were on for tonight. I gave him my 'not on your nellie' look and he asked if we'd given up doing it for fun! I felt guilty but not guilty enough to make any promises. I'm shagged out (interpret that how you will!)

BUnderTheBonnet · 11/06/2010 20:17

Oh, and my estimated due date would be 1st March! So I'm grabbing the front seat next to the driver. Pass the daiquiris up here!

BUnderTheBonnet · 11/06/2010 20:16

Sorry to hear that Miffles. rubberduckies my DH is spookily interested in my cycle. I have seen him examining my chart on fertility firend, and he asks for daily updates on my early pregnancy signs score. Now, admit it. That's worse, isn't it? He is also very keen on the "practice baby making".

Well, I have officially ov'ed and have embarked on the 2ww. I am now 3dpo. Dum-de-dum....

8rubberduckies · 11/06/2010 19:51

Hey miffles stay on the bus for the ride, and I'd love a daiquiri, make mine a strong one, it is Friday after all

How do you feel about the diagnosis? I suppose now you know your enemy you can get prepared...

Miffles · 11/06/2010 19:25

Ha ha rubberduckeies - my DH doesn't really have a clue either!
I had my scan today and the lady doing it said it looked PCOS to her, but need to speak to my doc in about a week.
I don't know what my CD is now - AF has been dibbing and dabbing around for the last 4 days. Think I ought to bow out, but I like the company - strawberry daiquiri anyone?

Medee · 11/06/2010 17:19

sometimes it is best if they don't know that much about our cycle.

CD14 and no sign of OV yet; temps still low and no EWCM, but had first sesh of SWI last night just in case I get taken by surprise!

I had to count to ten before taking a lunge for my "dp" on Monday, we were having a cuddle in bed and he asked me "aren't you due to take a pregnancy test again soon?" I had to point out that I'd had one of the heaviest AFs of my life just the week before, hadn't he noticed?, and that usually means that a woman is most definitely not up the duff in any way... He just giggled and said, "Oh yeah, I suppose so..." I give up, looks like it's all down to me to keep a tab on things, he just looks a bit confused when I start talking about my cycle, and asks me if I want to practise making a baby on CD5.... NO I DON'T. I AM FRIGGING KNACKERED.

Am I being harsh?

busymum05 · 10/06/2010 08:42

HiLjg, yeah fingers crossed xx

ljg72 · 09/06/2010 19:30

Hi Bysymum05!...I googled like crazy!, and everything I read seemed to say start your CD from the first day of MC (21st May).
Fertility Friend said the same...so I logged with them to try and chart my cycle.
Glad you are back on the bike! me too!.
Fingers crossed hey X

Miffles · 09/06/2010 19:15

Well, true to form, my AF is threatening....day 17 it started dibbing dabbing around. So pathetic, though!! Not sure it really counts!! Never mind - feel happy that I'm doing something about it with supplements and scan on friday for PCOS.
Glad you've been listened to orchid and keep us posted how you get on.
