I've been to see that famous old lady IVF doctor doncha know

Prinpo · 20/06/2010 20:44

Rockbird, I read your post as meaning that you used to look after William G Steward when he was a little lad. I was trying to figure out how the fuck you could have done that and still be of an age where you would be ttc [grin}.

Prinpo · 20/06/2010 20:42

And we're off.............

Fabulous news, B .

Medee · 20/06/2010 20:38

BUnderTheBonnet · 20/06/2010 20:28

Aargh!!!!! I caved! I even used an expensive digital test! And BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!

theteasonme · 20/06/2010 20:18

Mmmm...mojitos....yes please!!

Am so bored with this cycle now! Want to be at the SWI stage so I can have something to obsess about focus my energy on!

I have quite a stressful week coming up with work but am still hoping to ov by next weekend - just need to keep popping all the pills I suppose

xx teason

Rockbird · 20/06/2010 20:14

Ooh I forgot my fact about me: I used to be a nanny for William G Stewart of 15 to One fame and I used to take delivery of the questions (and have a sneaky look).

Prinpo · 20/06/2010 16:56

Miffles, I wondered what those flags were for... .

Love all the facts about people - hello to Maurice the Mole. Mine is that I am obsessive about lots of household stuff - having the glasses all lined up in the cupboard, that kind of thing. I try to pass myself off as very easy going but it really isn't so. If I didn't have kids and a very messy husband I would live in the utmost immaculate order...aahh, soothing feelings .

Good luck to those holding out on POAS. Really hope for some good news soon.

Oh, yeah, and my vote goes with EWCM. I howled with laughter at FFJ but, on reflection, it's a bit gross even for me (and that's saying something).

Extra mojitos for everyone who's feeling a bit low. Chin up, ladies, we'll get there.

Miffles · 20/06/2010 16:44

Hi guys...sounds like people are a bit low at the moment.

I have nothing particular to add as no SWI and no ov or anything that would actually lead to a baby!! I have now got a positive diagnosis of PCOS and both DH and I are having more tests at the docs next week, before referral to FS.

Hmmm....interesting fact....I have a mole right in the centre of my tummy - midway between boobs and belly button and exactly on the midline. He is called Maurice the Mole. wonder if that wasn't quite the kind of fact prinpo wanted!
I think EWCM is somehow better than Fertile Fanny Juice...although it's not scientific, somehow EWCM does sound slightly more proper!

Finally, I heard that 70% of men actually have willies that are less than 3 inches long. For the the month of June, these men have been asked to hang a white flag with a red cross out of their windows or attached to their cars to show consolidarity with other small men.

Rockbird · 20/06/2010 16:38

AF is due on Friday for me so absolutely totally not testing till at least then. I'm not hopeful though, I just don't feel like there's anything happening IYSWIM

delilahbelle · 20/06/2010 16:34

So who is planning on testing this next week then? It's me on Tuesday... anyone earlier?
and I mean Official AF is Late testing.. not sneaky POAS (we've all been there)

Still no sign of AF, I'm on constant knickerwatch and not a thing. But no positive symptoms either, although I am quite thirsty... could that be a symptom?!

Medee · 20/06/2010 15:43

womanlytales could be testing around now too.

ljg72 · 20/06/2010 12:36

C MON now BUTB!!!! stay with us, your the front runner...keep the faith! ( jokes aside, I'm feeling pants too)...deep breaths, carry on, sending hugs X

BUnderTheBonnet · 20/06/2010 12:14

I've been trying since yesterday, and I can't think of a single fact that's interesting about me and you wouldn't guess by looking at me. I'm so conventional. I'm thoroughly depressed.

Where's ttc gone?

almostknockedupgirl · 20/06/2010 11:33

Morning all!

Sorry to hear you guys are having a hard time post mc ljg72 and busymum05. As if it wasn't enough rubbish to deal with! Here's hoping the post-mc fertility surge catches you both!

And oooh, I've got my fingers crossed for all you ladies at the front. Rock on BFPs!

LMAO at theteasonme fact about yourself. As for me, well I'm a mad cat lady. (Actually, you might be able to tell that just from looking... )

I'm hoping that I'll be ovulating towards the end of this week/the weekend, so have big plans for the hubs. Which included getting a brazilian and some new stocking yesterday. He can't say that I don't treat him well!

ljg72 · 20/06/2010 11:31

Well it all seems a bit quiet at the front...still hoping for a mass of BFP any day!!??.
I had to distract myself, so have been and done "Body Combat" Rrhhhaaaarrr, feeling much calmer now.... Hope everybody enjoys the sunshine today

delilahbelle · 20/06/2010 10:37

Hi all

I've been sat quietly at the back... it's now CD 28 and no sign of AF yet, although she feels like she is just round the corner. I had a tiny bit of spotting Tuesday (CD22), but realistically don't think it means anything. Loads of EWCM at the right point, but not much SWI as DH couldn't be bothered (grrr) Admittedly I was aiming for 3+ times a day round OV, think we managed about 3 times over 5 days in total...

No tests in the house, no money until DH's wages go in tomorrow, so I won't be testing until Tuesday (CD30).
Keeping my fingers crossed AF atays away...
