Hi everyone,

Going for my 5th month trying with the monior. I´ll go back to my second session of acunpuntre tomorrow and have a doctor appointment next week.

I´ve been having some ovary pain in the beggining of the cycle. This is the second month this is happening. Has anyone ever had something like this?

BabyHoping · 01/07/2010 12:02

Hy cyncan, sorry I did not replied before but as ususal, crazy, crazy week...
Here is the story of my previous miscarriages: The first one baby was growing ok, went for a scan at 10 weeks cause I started with a very small bleeding and they saw the heart had stopped beating a few days before... Checked with two doctors cause I was so nervous, but no doubt at all. Went for a D&C on the next day. Started trying again after one month, bouth the monitor cause i was travelling and really wanted to get pregnant again. Felt pregnant on second month trying (during vacations). Doctor did scans every 2 weeks, this time the heart stopped beating around 6,5 weeks. Doctor wanted to perform a D&C but it was more risky as I have had one a few months ago and I decided to give a chance for my body to expell it. After around 3 weeks I expelled it, it was quite hard on my body and on my ovaries as they stopped for a long time. I was still recovering and thought not really ovulating but after 4 months I got a chemical pregnancy. Back trying straight after now followed by a special doctor

boba82 · 01/07/2010 09:50

Morning all Lychees I got negative results for day 21 test. Spoke to GP and we both agreed to oleave things until I have seen consultant at fertility clinic (whenever that'll be?) as it's practically impossible at the moment to pinpoint ovulation as my cycles have a mind of their own. I know I've only been just over 1 year TTC but I'm honestly starting to feel like it'll never happen, I'd even be happy with a regular 28 day cycle at the moment.

Hopefully you'll get some answers from GP today then honey, let us know how you get on.

Storm that must have been upsetting for you, you should have phoned them and let rip!!

Vikks a BOY!! Harry is a lovely name. x x x

Vikks · 30/06/2010 22:09

Hello Ladies. I?m still around! I like to look in on you once in a while and see how my old lifeline group is getting on. It?s lovely to see lots of new faces and big waves to those of you that remember me. Best of luck to all of you, the CBFM does work! x

Cyncan I was so upset to read your recent news. What a rollercoaster of emotions this TTC business is for you. I really hope your journey has a happy ending really soon. I hope you have plenty of love and support around you. Good luck. x

StormTTCbabyNo1 · 30/06/2010 20:30

Hi again...

Lychees I bet thats not what you expected when you got to the docs this morning....Hope the phone call goes well tomorrow hunny - fingers crossed for you that everyting is pretty straight forward.

Can you even experience symptoms at 4DPO???

I got in from work today and was met with a pile of post....flicked through and found a letter which looked interesting. I opened it and it was a leaflet asking if I wanted to have a 3D/4D scan of my baby done for £95. They were'nt to know I know that but now but really made me sad and wanted to get on the phone and give them a piece of my mind. Over it now but took me by surprise!!

Nice to hear from you Missy Hope you and hubby have a nice evening together. Don't work too hard

Missyraines · 30/06/2010 19:25

Quick update from me, I've managed to sneak home (shhh don't tell work as they have paid for my hotel)

Told hubby it'd be lovely to see him. I've not mentioned my high so he'll just think it's his rugged good looks, charm and his lucky night!

Having a glass of wine while I catch up on emails then away until 13th July when I am still working but at least I am staying at home (too late for anything by then though!)

Looking forward to logging on then and seeing good news for you guys.

Best wishes and thoughts to all my new buddies

Lychees · 30/06/2010 16:24

Hello All,

I queued up today for a DRs appointment but when I got to the front the receptionist said that they were down one GP so if it wasn't urgent ...... Anyways, I decided to phone for the results but ended up speaking to a nurse who said that my GP wanted to see me or speak to me on the phone as my progesterone levels were higher than last time but still on the low side. So I'm planning on phoning the surgery tomorrow to discuss this with the DR.

In a way, I'm glad that there might be a fixable reason as to why I haven't got pg yet but I'm hoping that this is the only issue and that they start treating me soon.

Has this happened to anyone here? Is it likely that I'll end up trying Clomid? I have lots of Q's to ask the GP tomorrow but just wondered if anyone here knew.

Boba, what's going on with your tests etc? You have probably already said but this thread is getting busy so it's easy to miss posts.

Hope you're all okay.

Symptoms sound promising, Storm

StormTTCbabyNo1 · 30/06/2010 13:31

HI Everyone,

Although I am trying desperatley not to symptom sopt and get my hopes up I cannot ignore this incredbly annoying dull ache in the pit of my tummy. Sometimes its not too bad and then I'll get the odd sharp pain. Not experiened anything like this before!!
Oh well probably something and nothing.

How are you getting on Boba ?

Hello,

Not much to report here although I'm feeling anxious as AF looms nearer - 'M' was flashing this morning but I wouldn't really expect to see signs of AF until nearer the weekend so a few days of wondering still to go. Thankfully I'm in work tomorrow and Friday so that will keep me busy.

Hope everyone's doing ok xx

giraffemummy · 29/06/2010 19:23

Hello everyone,

Into the two week wait now after a well timed peak arriving on Sunday so DH can abstain now for SA on Thursday.

Storm I know what you mean about the 2ww. Almost immediately each month now I think what's the point? This month will end like all the others. But then there's always that little bit of hope that it's my turn. FX

Hello PinkCustard Cyncan wishing you lots of strength for Thursday and lots of babydust when you decide to TTC again

Lychees I do the exact same thing with the monitor and don't switch it on after first low following ovulation

StormTTCbabyNo1 · 29/06/2010 13:12

Hi Everyone,

Feeling a bit better today! Thanks for your words of encouragement

Its not like me to get all worked up about stuff. When I first decided to get the CBFM I thought it would take the pressure off....slowly I'm realising that the pressure to get PG is still there, infact its more intense because I suppose I'm relying on the monitor to do the work for me! Hey ho....Its a learning curve thats for sure!

Cyncan I was told I'd be more fertile in the months after my surgery too but this has probably only fueled my obsession. Hope everything goes as well as it can at the Doc's hun

Starlet22 & Missyraines Thanks for the advice.

Missyraines I'm presuming that althought the 2WW is pretty tough at any time the first one is the worst! You sound like you've got a pretty hectic Work Life, hope you can get some rest and BD time in soon. Good Luck with the Docs hun. X

Pink - its nice to know that theres someone else at exactly the same stage as me with this CBFM lark amd I'll be sure to try at least and take my mind of things (even if it is for just 5 mins)

I've got my fingers crossed for everyone.

XXX

Lychees · 29/06/2010 07:31

Morning Everyone.

Welcome Pinkcustard.

Sorry AF got you Babyhoping. Missyraines, sounds like you have a tough [and tiring] job. I feel bad for monaing about my 9 to 6 and the difficulty of the work/life balance . But no, I don't think you'll conceive by text/phone but hopefully your one night at home will coincide with a peak [it can only take the one time].

Storm, the 2ww is the worst. But I can't offer many words of wisdom on that front except to keep busy and occupy yourself with something else . Also, I stop switching my CBFM on every day to somehow lose track . Hope you get your PMA back soon.

I'm hoping to get to the DR's tomorrow for my blood test results and possibly a referral. My first set of 21 day bloosd showed that I had not ovulated so I'm hoping that getting them done on CD25 will have made a difference to the results but I'm quite nervous about it.

Missyraines · 29/06/2010 06:47

Day 11 and got a high. This month will be difficult to conceive as I'm working 19 days straight (with one night at home) then a day off then 10 days away.

So not really expecting anything this month.

Can you conceive by text/phone?

cyncan · 29/06/2010 03:44

Thank you all for your kind words!! I am taking the week off and just relaxing. I am going to see the doctor on Thursday to see if the pathology of the fetus shows anything abnormal (other then chromosomal). My temperature is still high, so I am guessing my HCG levels are still high.

I did hear that one is more fertile after a D&C, but not really in the mood. Hopefully soon.

BabyHoping, I would love to hear more about your MCs. Did you get D&Cs too? Choccie I feel for both of you. But we need to keep our hopes up.

We will get our beautiful babies.

xoxoxox

Starlet22 · 28/06/2010 21:17

Forgot to say welcome, Giraffe!

Starlet22 · 28/06/2010 21:16

Welcome Pink! I know the wait can be rather unbearable at times but I'm not sure how many BFP results CBFM gets the first month you try it. I hope for your sake (and Storm, this goes for you too), that you get a BFP on your first attempt, but don't be too disheartened if it doesn't happen. There is always next month (forever an optimist, although running short of optimism myself at the moment with no results and nearly a year of TTC).

Cyncan so sorry to hear your sad news. Hope you recover soon.

Sorry about your AF Babyhoping.

How about this heat everyone? Perfect day to pull a sickie .

PinkCustard · 28/06/2010 14:51

Hi everyone, thanks for adding me to the list.

Storm I've been feeling a bit obsessive this month (probably as it's my 1st month using the CBFM) and was getting worried about how upset I'll be if it doesn't happen for me this month. However, I've been out and about this morning and had a fun time out with some lovely friends and it's made me feel a lot calmer about it (for now at least...). I think it helps to try and find something to take your mind off it for a bit and to spend time with people who don't know about your TTC so that it isn't even mentioned. And I try to keep remembering that my turn will come eventually. It's so frustrating though when something so important is taken out of your control.

Babyhoping really sorry that AF showed up for you, hope you're not too down

StormTTCbabyNo1 · 28/06/2010 13:51

Hi Everyone,

Babyhoping - sorry about AF, try try again!!

Cyncan - take your time hun! I was utterly obsessed and probably still am a little and its a horrible feeling!

Well as I have already pointed out, I peaked CD15 & 16. Now my mood is low low low. Feel as though I already know that our SWIing wasn't fruitful and all this waiting around is going to tear me apart. I am SO impatient! But because of the way I feel I am REALLY worried how I will feel when the time comes to POAS - I need an injection of optimitsm. My Positivness has literally disappeared overnight.......

X
