Come on in, you raddled old caaaaahs, whotchoo waitin' for?

I've gone for a groovy 60s psychedelic theme, so get your fat upper arms comfy in the hanging globe chairs and hide your mememe shame in the glow of the lava lamps!

Russell Howard is our new bartender, although I don't think he's happy at the flares 'n' kipper tie outfit I've forced him to wear. And of course, Mitchell is in the pit, nervously awaiting his first guest.

Let's make this one diffalicious!

OP posts:

ta ayrie. If your fanjo itches like hell, your genitalia (ooh get me) are tender and inflamed and you are spouting cream cheese lumpy deposits into your pants, you've got it.

And I used to be so about discussing these things...

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 17:12

9 days sorry.

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 17:10

Sorry if you're having Complications Casper. Haven't been lurking in Deli (I don't feel entitled!) so don't know nature of them, but hope things get sorted out soon.

When people talk about thrush I always nod along in a knowledgeable yet secretly mystified way. Do you always know if you've got it?

In answer to your question Polly, I am 8 days DPO. And I don't know how many days post ov I usually get droid because I have all my life been so casual and slack and even now don't look at calendars and charts as I ought. Don't think I ov-ed last month. Droid is due on about 3rd or 4th May. And onwards to my favourite crap joke in the world which I tell annually: "May the fourth be with you"

So it's all probably estragon like you wisely said. I'm now going back to the loo to assess yellowness again.

CurlyCasper · 29/04/2010 17:06

Thanks poo! Google was actually good to me this time. Hope reality is settling in for you

PollyPoo · 29/04/2010 17:00

Hello Casp! Good news on scan but BOOO to complications (I have been stalking in Deli). Do not google too much, its evil. Hope you have a fabulous trip back home.

CurlyCasper · 29/04/2010 16:54

Apologies again - I did correct myself immediately!

Nah, thrush is more like very white rnny scrambled eggs rather than EWCM (I should know after the bastard thrush resulted in diffo scare last week). I like the sound of what you got aries. In a positive-for-diffedness way. Anything else would be just sick.

fruits juices can make thrush worse though - all the sugars not good for an already imbalanced environment. However, I kept on drinking the stuff while TTC despite being thrush prone, and it really did the job with the old FFJ.

PollyPoo · 29/04/2010 16:54

Hmmm, don't think it can cause thrush Aries. Apparently midway through your LP you can get a load of creamy stuff, in line with a temp drop and second, smaller oestrogen surge (I haz swallowed TCOYF, can you tell?). That is not necessarily sign of diffage, just hormones doing their thing - it depends what happens next. It could be followed by watery stuff which is when the corpus luteum breaks down (day or two before droidage). Or it could be followed by more creamy stretchy gloopy stuff cos you iz duffed.

Having said that, slight yellow tinge can be Good News. What DPO are you Aries? And how many days past ov do you usually get before droid?

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 16:46

Do you think grapefruit juice can cause thrush ?

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 16:45

now then Curlz I think you're getting your PESHes confused with your BESHes.

And seeing as you're both interested and you put on your rubber gloves speshly Pols, the pantsnot is as follows: creamy, faint yellowy tinge with kind of bits and jelly in it. It is a little egg-whitey also. Or does that sound more akin to thrush? Which I've never had . And also to be borne in mind is that I've been knocking back grapefruit juice on a daily basis on the advice of a couple of Frolickers. I would upload photos but that would be going Too Far.

Laurie's turn now.

CurlyCasper · 29/04/2010 16:40

oops, BESHs. sorry (why is there no remove post option?)

CurlyCasper · 29/04/2010 16:39

oooh it's been ages since we've had proper pantsnot analysis on here. Come on ladies PESHs, do share...

grumperina · 29/04/2010 16:25

I'm still here, slappaz, but can't really chat while I'm supposed to be at work

Your political chat yesterday reminded me that I used to have a crush on Neil Kinnock. Now that really is weird and inappropriate, unless you have even lower standards that I expect.

HB I love you too I have Things To Say on the subject of changing career but can't while my evil taskmasters are looming over my shoulder.

À bientôt, mes petits choufleurs x

PollyPoo · 29/04/2010 16:08

now then Aries and Lozza, lets have a look at this pantsnot... Is it watery? As in, if you put in on your finger and waft it around in the air for say, 5 seconds, does it evaporate? Or is it more creamy in texture and colour? And possibly even a bit stretchy like ewcm?

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 16:02

Probably sciatica. The bum pain, that is.

laurielou · 29/04/2010 15:57

I too have a litle more pantsnot than I would normally expect. What gives?

I have no backside pain. Unless you count the boyf?

I know tis early to be thinking, isn't it? Isn't it?

Seriously, you don't suppose...........

Nah, silly caaaaaah!

Right, lou is skipping to the loo...

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 15:45

Maybe you can menkul for/with me, Laurelbush. I have a pain up my backside and unusually abundant pantsnot. Howzzat?

Tis stupidly early to be thinking about such things

laurielou · 29/04/2010 15:04

Ah, fanks everyone for praise on my restraint. Really I'm just too lazy & tight to fork out for a stick, & usually end up peeing on my hand anyway. Thought I'd just wait & see if a head appeared out my fango

Still no droid, despite a bit of a lunchtime rummage (how coy am I locking myself in a cubicle?). head you are my new lesbo crush.

aries you is diffed. If crazy dreams are a go-go I'm diffed too (loathed to remind you all but my sexy Michael Ball dream of last week). Jeez, I nearly threw up my donut. What a waste of donut that would be.

Tra la la - what can I do to pass the time? I'm now counting cycle in 1/2 days - day 30 1/2...........

PollyPoo · 29/04/2010 14:58

Hell, is anyone else watching 'How the Other Half Live'? I am catching up with TV and it is making me cry. Proper sobbing. (I blame the damn hormones.)

Good luck for this avo HeadCase.

Scropy am just mailing ya, but v glad that the needling lady managed to inspire you.

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 14:48

This woman needs recruiting I think!

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/955613-Is-it-just-me-or

I particularly liked the "barren whore" bit.

Headbanger · 29/04/2010 14:42

Where's Grumperina? I liked the cut of her jib.

Polly Fanks for advice & encourgementations. I feel simultaneously elated and sick. I did not expect the folk I asked to be so positive.

We'll see. Have decided to just test a few doors and see if they open. If they turn out to be locked I'll consider myself to Have Been Told by the universe.

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 14:35

Thanks everyone for kind thoughts re BF's little soldier. Gave me a warm glow. He's my most favouritest child and if I have a boy I want him to be just like him.

Ocarina · 29/04/2010 14:20

You mean there are other bits to Mumsnet other than here and AIBU?

Aries am adding to the gladness that the news about your friend's son is (relatively) good. Must be such a relief for everyone.

I did the whole career change thing in my mid-twenties, changing from one badly paid career to another.... Fortunately I didn't have to fund my retraining, but it did mean living on next to nothing for a while (although marrying TH did help with that side of things, although despite what his mother thinks that's not why I married him). Took a lot of soul searching to get there, and I wasn't worrying about babies and things at that point, but I'm so glad I did it.

Laurie I'm so impressed with your self restraint and have fingers and all crossed for you.

PollyPoo · 29/04/2010 14:10

I like your thinking Cass. Seems a perfectly reasonable request to me.

Aries yes, vivid weird dreams = diffed. I am rooting for ya and Lorry this month. Scorps did you have any secks this month? As you know I had the temp rise on day 6 and it stayed way up there. Well until I had that one blip utter meltdown and had to put the thermometer away.

Lozzer I am soooo hoping this is it for you and you don't have to endure any more of the psycho Clomid evil drucks.

Aries I am v relieved to hear your friend's little boy is ok. Well, ok as in not cancer. And was it also you whose friend's 17 yo daughter is going through all that nastiness? Was so and for them, how awful.

Right, what else has happened? I can't keep up... Oh HeadRush you did make me cry laughing... the image of you having a rummage in your lady garden whilst at your desk will stay with me for ever. Wrt the re-training I reckon you should just go for it. Who knows what will happen and 2 years is not v long, espesh for a young BESH like you - there is never a perfect time to plan a baybee and they rarely come when you want them to anyway so you may as well sort your career out. You will find a way of fitting it all in.

I also did not know there was a political bit to MN.

Casserole · 29/04/2010 12:47

Am admiring your self restraint Laurel but truly, I have nothing else in my day to look forward to, so would you mind doing it anyway, just for me? ta muchly...

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 11:12

28-31 days.

It was an unusually vivid dream I must say. Weird dreams=diffed. Doesn't it? Doesn't it everyone?
