TTC after a Miscarriage - Keep Trying!!!!

Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

bella - my first m/c was Jan too, horrible month, my Nan died the month before. Bad star to the year and no sign of it getting better. Had my 2nd m/c in April.
Very ready to get pg again.

Am off to have a spot of lunch, and get out of the house while the weathers half decent!
Spk to you all later.x

Diddle · 28/07/2005 13:52

Xena - Hello, hows things??? Yep the old games are the best. For some reason the kids i've got are worn out, so sitting still is just what they need.
It has just started bucketing it down here.

shelly24 - the cards are for me, and them. One of their parents has a birthday on Sunday, so we're going to make her a card.

OP posts:
shelly24 · 28/07/2005 13:45

Or are the card making kits for you?!.x

shelly24 · 28/07/2005 13:43

I'm not too bad today either, have done my good deed for the day and donated some money to SANDS,to help with their research(am wearing on of their wristbands too)
So feel quite pleased with myself, sun has just come out too, hurray!!About time after that miserable weather the last couple of days!!
Sounds like your gonna have a nice relaxing afternoon diddle!Get those kiddies making some really creative cards!.x

Bella23 · 28/07/2005 13:41

ChocolatePeanut - yes totally understand the feeling that it just is never going to happen!

Staying positive is soooo very hard sometimes but I am a firm believer that you have to keep seeing your future as how you want it in order to make it happen. In my darker moments DH has left me as it is discovered I am barren and then in my better moments we have a happy household full of kids!.
Its been said before.....its a rollercoaster of emotions this TTC lark!
Boring answer is just to keep plodding along willing a BFP around the corner!

Xena · 28/07/2005 13:40

Diddle, I seem to be overrun with boys and they are charging all round the house. Just got back from the Hornimans's Museum (which they all enjoyed) and I said that I needed to sit down and have a cup of tea. They have actually built 2 dens with old curtains!! The old games are the best

Diddle · 28/07/2005 13:35

shelly24 - your smiles made me smile back, thank you.

Having quite a nice day, taken the kids to the garden centre to have a snack and buy some card making kits and now they're watching the lion king. I love the school hols, no rushing about to school and playgroup, much nicer

Maddy - did you test again today? Can be perfectly normal to get aches and pains before a BFP, and temp dip could be implantation.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 28/07/2005 13:21

Hi Bella23!!

We are all a bit miserable today i see.

Ive been wallowing as much as i am allowed (with dd on the go)
Chocolate helps!!

Been waiting for 'ultra early pg tests' to arrive for a week. They did this morning and i am sorry they did.AnotherBFN.(3rd in 3 days )

AF probably on way (due Sun)

My due date was last weekend and i feel terrible.Think its never going to happen and i am not getting any younger...........

Bella23 · 28/07/2005 12:42

Thanks Diddle.

Maddy - so know how you feel. The only thing that makes me feel any better is having a really good cry and wallow and getting it all out.
Its difficult to keep being happy for other people all the time. Have time out and have a good cry. Also chocolate afterwards always works!!

Diddle · 28/07/2005 12:35

oh maddyd - sorry you're feeling so low, your friend is very lucky. Our times will come. Go and get some chocolate and have a nice easy day, are you working? A nice hot bath always makes my back and belly feel much better.

OP posts:
maddyd · 28/07/2005 12:09

I am completeley miserable today so not posting much. Aonther friend had a baby girl this morning. Im pleased for her but im just so tearful now.

Plus i have low back pain as well as my belly ache which isnt as bad now. Ive never had this before expect when i miscarried obviously.

Diddle · 28/07/2005 12:07

rant as much as you want Bella23, we are trying to stay positive, not easy though is it, I can't imagine what its like having someone so close to you who is due so soon, I'm not sure how i'd react to that. My due date isn't until Sept and I am not looking forward to it.
Welcome back

Bella23 · 28/07/2005 11:58

Hello all ladies,

Have been with some of you before but keep drifting off into the land of obsession and get too upset to post!

Can I rejoin??
I have posted my stats, basically missed m/c at 10 weeks.

You all sound like you are keeping your spirits up. I am very much up and down. My "would be" due date is fast approaching in a couple of weeks and am dreading it. My BF who got pregnant at the same time as me is due in a couple of weeks and just hearing her talk about it gives me a lump in my throat......which makes me feel very horrible indeed as hate being a crap friend!

Anyway sorry for rant, just wanted to introduce myself xx

Diddle · 28/07/2005 11:45

shelly24 - have read your stats, so sorry to read about your loss, I know that workign with children makes it that little bit harder, I am a childminder and its tough, but i think it also makes you appreciate the children you look after even more, it did for me.

nicmum2boys - I've read yours too, and think i have read another thread you've been on, when you were deciding whether to TTC or not. I'm very pleased you've decided to try again, and you're DH will soon realise if it happens that it will be Joy, joy, joy most of the time.
But by setting a deadline, you must make sure you don't put too much pressure on your body, that could easily stress you out so much that your body won't be well enough to carry a child. So stay positive, and healthy and try as hard as you can not to get as obsessed as we all are about TTC hope you don't mind my advice. Good luck

Diddle · 28/07/2005 11:40

nicmum2boys - i have screamed its not fair a lot, it makes you feel that little bit better.
Hope AF buggers off for you soon.

nicmum2boys · 28/07/2005 09:28

Phew, can't beleive how much I've missed 42 messages already, and will probably take me so long to type this it'll be even more by the time I post!
Hi Charlee, so sad to hear of your miscarriage. You have been through so much, and you are still so positive, you have amazing strength.
Hi too to Coupe, and so sorry for your loss. Must be horrible having to wait for your body to get back on an even keel again. Here's hoping things sort themselves out really quickly.

Well I don't know what my body is playing at. Still bleeding, have been on and off for 7 days now, and AF isn't even meant to arrive til tomorrow, really is outstaying her welcome already. It's really weird as I'm having cramps like it's my heaviest day, but bleeding is next to nothing. Starting to panic I'm going through early menopause or something, just can't think why after coming on 14dpo like clockwork as far as I can remember, why now when I've got the chance to have the 3rd baby I thought I'd never get does everything go pear shaped??? sorry to rant, really could have full on temper tantrum about this, want to scream it's not fair. Will go and make a cup of tea instead though, and then add my stats to the other thread.

Diddle · 28/07/2005 08:25

have just found a site through the miscarriage and bereavement section, about lighting candles. You can read everyones messages, they are lovely, made me a bit tearful, there were messages for family members lost in 9/11. Anything to do with that makes me sad. so horrible.

OP posts:
maddyd · 28/07/2005 08:20

Yeah we had a rotton day yesterday staying in. They get so restless dont they. Dont know what we will do today, may have to go out for a walk anyway and jump in some muddy puddles

Diddle · 28/07/2005 08:14

morning maddyd - what a lovely thing to think, bought a tear to my eye, AF has made me even more emotional if thats possible.

That hug was lovely thanks

nasty weather here today, raining, and has been all night, not sure what to do with the kids.
Can't keep going out, i'll be poor.
