Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Thsi is going to sound REALLY snobby, but believe me we're not!!
We stayed in the 'manderine oriental'opposite harrods when we went!!(was VERY posh, but we know people who work there... ,got a sneaky discount......)
DH proposed to me that night when we went for a meal before the show(aaah,my little romantic!)We ordered our desserts and the waiter bought out the ring in a box, with a single rose on his tray,DH took it and did the 'on one knee' thing infront of everyone!it was magical!Ah...soz for waffling...has brought back lovely memories.x.x

Nic,
there is lots you can do in regards to healthy eating to improve chances of fertility. It mostly centred around eating a diet rich in fruit and vegetables, cutting out processed foods etc. I am going to start another thread about healthy eating for conception, to run alongside this one. I think we need a place where we can share tips and support each other on healthy eating regime, (in a similar vain to the Big Slim threads but for a different purpose.

Evening mads.x,really nice to hear from you.x
Glad your feeling better too.x
Am not sure about this month to be honest, like you, have used those early preg tests and all i've got is bfn's...and it just makes me worse everytme!
Have resigned myself to thinking shes on her way....just taking her time about it!
I have only had one AF since my loss,so shouldn't hope for too much!
Your weekend to london sounds really great,a perfect chance to relax, just the two of you.x
Its mad really,we only live half an hour away from central london, and we hardly ever go into town!!Last time was an overnight stay and we went to see 'chicago'(that doesn't look right??have i spelt it wrong??),it was a fantastic time,so i really recommend it mads!.x
Haven't even been on the london eye yet!!,and thats been there for years!!

Diddle · 01/08/2005 18:36

hello to you all.

To all of you with children who are feeling guilty about being upset about wanting another. You are very blessed to have the children that you do, but there is nothing selfish about wanting another. I personally don't think this situation is any easier for you guys than it is for me with no children. The heartache and the longing are still the same. So don't feel selfish, you're just normal, maternal women.

Xena - Sorry to hear AF has arrived, i'm know you said you weren't trying anymore, but i bet you were a little dissapointed that she showed her face.

For those of you still waiting, there is still hope until AF turns up. But remember to not get your hopes up too much, it could go either way. Mine was 1 week late, maybe AF is just having a delay she seems to be behind on her schedule with all of us this month. Perhaps she's teaching us a lesson, trying to teach us that we shouldn't be so stressed about it all.

Maddyd - So sorry you're going through all this again, any firm news yet? will you test tomorrow, just to check? maybe you should visit the gp, could still be pg and having a bleed, quite possible. , thinking of you.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Evening all. Hope you all ok. So sorry about your af Xena. How are you feeling.

Cori did you enjoy Womad. i couldnt get to Mothercare cos of all the traffic in Caversham. Im not feeling to bad emotionally today. Thers no oint in letting this get me down, its not fair on the rest of the family. Yes i had similar probs last month. It serves me righjt for using those early tests. I advised others not to use them but when it came down to it i couldnt wait myself.

Nic, good eating pan is a great idea. I gave up wheat and caffine a few months ago and i try and drink two litres of water a day. Its made a great difference and i feel great, apart from this week with my stomach.

Munz Hang on for me girl, one day ill manage to get properply preggers.

Love to Cp and Shelly, theres still hope for you two this month yes???? xxxxxxxxxxxx

Im off to look for a theatre break now in London. My other half is going to treat me over my next ovulating weekend. We desperatley need a break!!!!!! So thought we would do the London eye etc

nicmum2boys · 01/08/2005 15:39

((((maddyd))) feel so sad for you. I can totally empathise over already having children. I have 2, and am wondering if I'm just pushing my luck wanting a third. But...... I can't deny that ache inside, that little part of me that always wanted another, and just can't let this go, not yet.

I'm feeling very tired and run down. Need to get my diet sorted and start eating a bit healthier see if it sorts my cycle out a bit. Anyone got any top tips for things I should be eating to improve my chances?

LunarSea · 01/08/2005 13:11

munz - 25/27 days isn't short. I'm currently getting 21/22 days most of the time. And LP of about 8 days. And GP says there's "obviously" nothing wrong because I have managed to have ds (although that was back in the days when my cycle was more like 24/26 days). Looks like I'm going to have to save up and see someone privately - though I've no idea if that's even possible if your GP refuses to refer you.

CP - I'd say you were just very, very lucky to get a +ve at the first attempt twice - they reckon about a 20-25% chance each month, so don't worry that it takes an extra month or so.

cori · 01/08/2005 11:05

Hello everyone,
Went to WOMAD ( world music festival ) this weekend past. DS had a fantastic time, his first festival and camping experience, we all had a ball. Thankfully it didnt rain too much.

Well AF seems to have come and gone( just in time for a weekend camping with no washing facilities ,) I have acupuncture tomorow night,
so will be going back on my health kick this month.

Maddyd... what an emotional rollercoaster we are all on. Didnt something like this happen last month.?
Hope you are feeling better today, it is hard to stay positive isnt it?
Right am off to make some Green tea.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 01/08/2005 10:38

Hi shelly24

No AF yet (due yesterday) and no sign.Decided to leave it now until end of week. Constant testing is no good for soul as had several bfns last week

so if not pg then af will arrive

and if pg hcg levels could be too low to detect hence bfns so leaving till af 5 days late to test again (but no doubt she will show her face by then.....)

resigned to af arriving anyway now.

Xena · 01/08/2005 10:21

My AF has finally arrived and is here in force straight away. How are you doing maddyd?

shelly24 · 01/08/2005 09:45

Stil no sign of AF this morning,i'm wondering whether my body is playing tricks on me or not!!?
Was def due an AF by now?I wonder if my body is just trying to adjust after my loss?maybe i haven't had a proper AF yet?But it seemed at the time like it was it lasted 5 days which is usual,it started on the 3rd of july, and according to the charts on FF,it should now be due?
Had 2 BFN's so i can't be preg!So just want AF so that i can get on!!!
Any signs of yours yet c.p?.x

munz · 01/08/2005 09:29

oh mads honney ((((hugs)))) for u it's so unfair, how long's ur cycle? FWIW i have short cycles (25/27 days dep on OV) as long as u have a LP or 10 days apparently things should be OK, (((hugs)) be good to yourself honney.

CP - just quick as well, I found out I was PG 3 days after going out on a major drinking fest with the girls, still waiting to see if any harm's done, hopefully this month's for u, will keep watching!

good luck to the rest of u girls.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 31/07/2005 21:57

(((((maddyd))))))

I too sometimes feel selfish as I have a dd and think of those who have nothing yet.

But I can honestly say that the need for another is the strongest yet

shelly24 · 31/07/2005 21:02

Its completely natural mads, you wouldn't be normal if you didn't feel that way.x
yes,you are blessed to have your children, and yes it is probably harder for me and others who haven't had a chance yet,but the urge for a baby is the same with everyone i think, whether there are other children or not.I really feel for you maddy,i really do...i'm gonna be really strong for us both in the days ahead.x.x.

maddyd · 31/07/2005 19:58

Thanks Shelly. I feel selfish. I mean i have three and so lucky and theres so may of you that havnt had your first yet and i know i should be, and i am eternally thankfull for them.

But it still hurts, the need for another, the trying and the loss.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 31/07/2005 19:57

new housemate on bb???

had no idea!!

will tune in (if only to tale mind of ttc lark )

shelly24 · 31/07/2005 19:50

Lovely to hear from you mads, thanx for letting us know your ok.x
Look after yourself ok...lots of (((hugs)))to you.x.x

maddyd · 31/07/2005 19:48

Evening everyone. Thankyou so much for your kind wishes. Dont think i will test on Tue, not much point really. I still have major pains and the bleeding is heavier. And im fine about it

Just very cross with myself, i said last month i wouldnt use those bloody early tests. Its obviously the implanting i have a prob with. And now i have a short cycle too so i dont know whats happening. Last month i only bled for two days.

Anyway can someone slap me if i even mention testing early again. I promise to always now wait till im at least a week late.

Love to you all and ill catch up with you soon.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

shelly24 · 31/07/2005 19:28

Think BB is one of the rare things that keep me sane these days!!!(how mad is THAT!watching other people and their lives!!)
Will be interesting to see who the new recruit is!?
Hows everyone feeling this eve?
I hear where your coming from c.p!!Think i need shares in andrex as well as clearblue!!!.x

HellKat · 31/07/2005 19:18

P.s CP- are you watching the BB live tonight? (9pm c4)Ohhh new housemate! I think they should put Kemal back in. If that selfish mare had walked Friday night instead, then he'd still be there.

HellKat · 31/07/2005 19:16

So true CP.
They say best is none now and, same as you, mc. With ds1 I rarely touched the stuff but hit 5/6mths pg and craved bitter and Newcastle brown ale. So had 1 a week (of either). Mw said it was actually good for baby, don't think they would've said the same however if it was voddies I was necking!
Mind you, since ds2, I rarely drink now anyway!
How's everyone?
Off to watch "How clean is your house?" so I can get more tips! God I'm obsessed with this cleaning lark!
Take care all xxxxxxxxxxxx

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 31/07/2005 19:11

I had a wine and soda last night as I was convinced (and still am) that AF is on way

I dont think it matters.I fretted so much about drinking in 1st pg (I had two units a week as 'allowed' by NHS)then in 2nd pg NHS said none so I abstained.I went on to loose this baby so I reckon a little drink wont harm you

Xena · 31/07/2005 19:02

I drank three glasses of wine at lunch today so I'm hoping that the BFN was the truth.
