TTC after a Miscarriage - Keep Trying!!!!

Diddle · 27/07/2005 15:15

Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Shelly24 - Don't want to get your hopes up, but I think it sounds like a positive. Can you take a photo of it and post a link on here??? Or CAT me???

shelly24 · 02/08/2005 09:37

I didn't look at it!!I presumed it would be a negative again! So just chucked it in the bin,and fished it out in the eve!?
Think i will get a digi one,but may wait till the end of the week(very scared!)
The others didn't have an evaporation line after awhile, just a def one line in the test window, and a blank result window?

Toothache · 02/08/2005 09:35

Thanks Shelly. Go do another one and see if the line comes up after 2 or 3mins. If not, do what Diddle said. Get a digital one and try again tomorrow morning.

Diddle · 02/08/2005 09:35

shelly24, if you do a line one, do it and then look at it less than 10 mins, that is the most reliable result. I;ve done the same, and looked at it after and there was a line, but i wasn't pg it was an evaporation line. Thast whyt ehy say not to look at it after 10 mins

Happy birthday to you little one by the way!!!
1 today!!(aaaah,bless!).x

Diddle · 02/08/2005 09:31

shely24, did you get a line straight away or just after a long time???
if it was just after a long time then its not reliable, there will be an evaporation line on it. Go and get a digital one then it will tell you in words. i always find them more reliable.

shelly24 · 02/08/2005 09:25

Toothache · 02/08/2005 09:22

Shelly24 - I did that..... fished it out the bin every 2 mins just to make sure the faint line was still there. And my dd is 1 today!! GO DO ANOTHER ONE JUST TO CHECK!!! I really hope you are pg.... you have been through so much.

shelly24 · 02/08/2005 09:20

Morning girls!
OMG!!slight line on preg test from yesterday(full story on aprilbabyshowers.com thread)have not got energy to write it all again!
Basically had 3 bfn's last week(and when you look back on them..are def bfn's)
Then did one yesterday, chucked it before looking at it as was sure would be a bfn again, got it out the bin in the eve and theres a slight line!!!Thing is your not meant to read them after ten mins!!

Diddle · 02/08/2005 08:35

Sorry LS - figured you had probably given it a go.

Diddle - not sure on dosage of vit B6, but I'd guess there's prob enough in pregnacare, especially if you don't have prob with short luteal phase. Have sent you the article.

ChocolatePeanut - I beat you! Been on folic acid or pregnacare for 4.5yrs now! All be worth it in the end though.

petunia · 01/08/2005 21:34

Evening all,
Well, I'm back from my few days at the south coast and had a lovely time.
Didn't know where you'd all got to, then found you'd started a new thread while I'd been away!

Hope everyone's well and will catch up with you all tomorrow.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 01/08/2005 21:25

Just worked out.I have been on Pregnacare for 3 years now!!

Diddle · 01/08/2005 20:57

tabs - have cat'ed you, can i take b6 with pregnacare, or don't i need to take any extra if its has it in it?

OP posts:
LunarSea · 01/08/2005 20:28

Yep, done B6. And Agnus Castus. And both together.

Tabs · 01/08/2005 20:13

Nic - I have a copy of a food and fertility article from a recent copy of YAWYE magazine. If you want me to e-mail you a copy then just CAT me with your e-mail address. Same applies to anyone else who wants a copy.

Lunarsea - have you tried vit B6 supplements? I've heard that these are a natural way to try and increase your luteal phase a little and help the chances of implantation.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 01/08/2005 19:59
