Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Shelly24- 3 positive tests, eh?!
I'd say clothes that are bigger in the waistline department will soon be in order!
Congratulations!

Toothache · 04/08/2005 09:45

Shelly24 - You have now done 3 tests!!!! ALL OF THEM POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!

HumphreysCorner · 04/08/2005 09:28

Morning ladies

How are we all today?

Diddle-can't be bothered to ring the Dr today as I want to stay at home at least 1 day this week so will ring on Monday or Tuesday as have both those days off. I need some more migraine tablets but the way I see it is that if I get PG this month I won't need them as I won't get my AF. Yep-in my dreams again. But, best not take them until I know I'm def not PG-soooooo leaves me until 18th Aug when AF due to get an appointment. Blimey charlie-what a waffle! Hope you are OK ((xx))

I have decided I can't live with the length of the grass any longer so am going to cut it now. The mower is v. difficult to start so always worry that it may have caused my M.C. but as my 'fertile' time is only today I shouldn't really worry.

Enjoy the rest of the day and I'll check on you all later.

P.S. My DD broke one of my oil burners last night which holds such memories-was so devestated I couldn't bring myself to speak to her for the rest of the day. Feel awful about it now .

(((xxx)))

Diddle · 04/08/2005 07:52

Morning all,

You guys do chat a lot don't you, i must make more fo an effort to be on in the evenings.
Shelly24 - fingers crossed for you, sounds very promising wiht your tests. Hope they are positives. I think i would take it that they are, there's no way i could hold out till the weekend to test again, you must have much more will power than a lot of us on here I'm sending you a little congrats, just to keep you going.

Maddyd - How you feeling today? when is your scan, do you have to wait long, hope not, must be hell, esp without chocolate

auntynon - sounds like you're being very sensible and strong at the moment, looking to the future is all we can do. Before you know it you will be as obsessed as we all are it won't take long.

CP - going to hunt out the opk thread, whats the point of doing a test to show when you're eggs doing what it should, if its not going to work???

Mine are staying in the cupboard this month, should have started doing them today. we're not really trying too hard this month, if we are then i am successfully not thinking about it as much.

Spub - sorry to hear AF has finally arrived with you, its gutting isn't it. But there is plenty more time to try, we'll get there.

Humphreyscorner - how are you feeling today?? did you manage to get a doctors appointment yet?

Xena - Hows things going?? are you still decided on not ttc, or might you take a bit of time off and stay off the pill? you never know, having a rest from it could be more successful for you. Hope you're okay hunny.

Hellkat, Lottielou - where are you? everything alright.

Better go and do some work

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 21:19

Maddyd - just sniff some chocolate!!!
Ive none in (dont buy junk in weekly shop) just buy it from sweet shop as and when. But I am on own with dd in bed.Pity you cant order it like a pizza!! DH usually rings about this time (phone next to computer)to see if i want anything bringing in (he gets in about 10.15)but has not rung yet
its getting desperate.Im bloody boiling and even thinking about making a hot chocolate!!

Shelly24 - my employers were not going to pay me either until I sent the S.A.N.D.S info in and my boss went to personnel kicking and screaming on my behalf.I lost Philippa in the 25th week so was just eligble. They thought I was a week out!!

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 21:15

maddyd · 03/08/2005 21:06

Chocolate peanut stop going on about chocolate, i am craving some big time. Its only cos cant have it at mo though. Doc said no fatty foods at all till scan confirms my middle age gall stones and that icludes chocolate. Wouldnt mind but i thought i ate healthily.

God i feel like a real old bat moaning about gall stones

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 20:54

Hello c.p hunny!,thanx for the support hun, only time will tell,so have to be strong and hold out for afew days!I really don't know if i am or not?!I really can't tell!!
My dad said to me today,'why aren't you pregnant yet!'(bless him),he feels really bad because when i was preg before he wasn't very 'enthusiastic' should we say the beginning,as he thought we would plan a family for after we were married(i fell preg end of last sept and we were due to get married 14th may this year, turned out that we moved wedding to january just gone and Rhys was born on our original wedding date!(how BIZARRE is that!?).)So he felt really guilty when Rhys was stillborn, and is desperate for me to be preg again!
I'm on maternity leave aswell till october,i do find it hard thinking about going back to work as iwork with young babies. When DH initially told my company that Rhys was stillborn he wasn't going to pay me maternity wages because he didn't think i was intitled to it!!!!(bloody cheek!!!)Went to citizens advice and everything, and they couldn't believe it!!,he was quick to pay me when we said we were going to take legal action!!So now am not really keen on working for him full stop!!Thats one of the main reasons why i want to go back to work pregnant,so i can stay there as little time as pos and then go on maternity again!(sounds selfish, but after what he put me through,i think i deserve it!!).
Don't worry about work c.p,you and i have been through enough as it is,without worrying about things like bloody work!!And WHEN we go back to work pregnant, that will be the most important thing, and no less than what we deserve!!!.x.x.x
(you've got me started now!!!.).x.x.

auntynon · 03/08/2005 20:33

weighed myself at my mums yesterday, 8 st 3lb, I'm 5ft 8 in. When I spoke to my gp about it around 6 mths ago I was 8st 7lb and my BMI was at the lower end of 'normal'. He did blood tests for overactive thyroid etc but everything was normal. He said he was more concerned about his obese patients!! Alot has happened over the last year or so, move house, start business etc, I put alot of me not being able to gain weight down to that. I eat normal meals but find it hard to eat extra just to put on weight when I am not hungry. I feel ok in myself generally, someimes tired but often very busy. Intention with business that I will go part time and have more time off/with babies.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 20:24

Do you mind me asking what your weight/height is??

I was always v v thin. All my life in fact.Since turning 30 it has crept on especially around the middle but I am still within the healthy bmi being about 23.

I used to drink build up! Sometimes you just are what you are and stressing about it just makes you thinner (burning calories..)

auntynon · 03/08/2005 19:50

learning things already from you lot. I'm still bleeding from my m/c as it was only on sun, dr said I shouldn't need d&c as it all seems to be happening naturally. Didn't realise it can take so long to get A/F after m/c. I'm on a mission to be really healthy when I do concieve. Since having dd 2 years ago have struggled to keep weight on, am very thin but do eat lots. dh hasn't said it but I feel that he may insist I put more weight on before we try again. Have bought decaf tea and coffee and lots of vitamins (and lots of pies) getting obsessed!!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:44

Flamin nora

Just seen a thread on opk.Said a pos result doesnt acually mean you have laid an egg (cluck, cluck)

Just bought 3,001 from internet this morning!

Something else to worry about.

Chocolate,I NEED CHOCOLATE.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:40

auntynon

so sorry you had to join us but welcome.Feel free to be obssessed,we all are

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:37

Shelly24 I have everything crossed for you baby girl.

And as for being too lucky.Dont be too hard on yourself, after everything you have been through you deserve all the luck in the world. We are all rooting for you!!

Maddyd asked if you were back at work and I wondered if you took mat leave? I did with the intention of getting pg asap as I am usually v v sick from 6wks to 20wks and did not want to be in work then back off sick.

As it is I bet I am back (end oct) before i am pg then have to take more time off being ill.I worry so much about it.I only just started the job when I got pregnant with dd and was then off 4 months with hyperememsis (in hosp on drip)went back to work at 22 weeks,2 weeks later fell and broke wrist, was off another 2 weeks and then finished for mat leave at 32 weeks as advised by gp.Had 6mths leave went back and then 5 months later got pregnant with philippa was off another 4 months same scenerio.Went back at 22 weeks and 2 weeks later lost philippa and went on 6mths leave.

so you can see my concern

spub · 03/08/2005 18:41

Auntynon-
a combined huge welcome and so sorry that you are having to join this thread- we know how gutting a m/c is so if there's anything we can do...
Shelly - so hope this is a real BFP. Fingers crossed for you! We need some happy news here!
My AF has just arrived . Would have maybe been a bit greedy to get pg right away. At least now I know I have a 28 day cycle!
My next bd days are on my wedding anniversary when dh and I are booked back into the lakeside hotel where we wed 7 years ago so maybe the omens are good!
Hugs to all

HumphreysCorner · 03/08/2005 18:31

auntynon-saw you on the March thread -I'm so pleased you joined us and you are most welcome. We all know what you are going through hun (((xxx)))

maddyd-gallstones big . Have heard it can be a middle age ailment No seriously, with modern medical whatsits they can be got rid of easily now not like when my Grandad had them lots of years ago so you really mustn't worry girlie. (((xxx)))

Had a nice day and having a glass of Blossom Hill while attempting to get tea ready. Big excitement as we are finally on broadband-hurrah!

Be back later to check on you lovely ladies

xxx

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:52

Im ok ta, down obviously. This whole ttcing thing is getting me down, but i wont give up, no way. And theese flaming gall stones wont stop me either. I jus hope they are not painfull on our weekend away. If not sorted straight away then i may postpone the weekend. We are having Lamb for tea, its my favourite but im dreading eating as it aggrivates my stomach.

Are you back at work now? I forget if you said you were or not? I know you were worried about being ill if pg?

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:51

I don't feel i could be that lucky this soon

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:39

I'm only a day late, worked out that Af should have arrived yesterday, rather than sun/mon
Either way it should be here by now,and isn't!
I'm trying to be really cool about the whole thing, cos it can really get to you sometimes can't it!?
Am gonna leave it another couple of days, had nice long chat with DH,and we're gonna take it one day at a time,if i'm not its not the end of the world(although it would be LOVELY ofcourse),it would then be a worry as to why my AF hasn't arrived!?The female body is a very confusing thing!!!
Anyway,enough about me,how are you today mads?.x

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:33

With you there girl know exactly what you mean. How many days late are you then. A digi one will work if your late especially if you do afirst morning wee. Fingers crossed for you Shelly xxxxxxxxx I can imagiene how you are feeling.

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:30

I ordered them from a pregnancy website, they haven't got a product name, just bought them in bulk with a load of ov tests(which i gave up on.Just say,'one step pregnancy test' on them? Will get a digi one at the weekend as am feeling foolish for spending the money on them in the first place!.
At the time i just wanted some straight away!(sigh!)

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:26
