Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Been working all weekend, v tired, day off tommorrow - hurray! It's now a full week since m/c, still sad but a little better than I was. Already feeling inpatient regarding ttc again, hope AF doesn't take too long. Congrats again Shelly.

nicmum2boys · 07/08/2005 21:21

Petunia, can't you call the police, and say the alarm's going off? I would plead ignorance and say I thought it must have been broken into. Surely if you tell them you know your neighbour's away and you have good reason to think it's been broken into they will have to come out and do something? Failing that environmental health will probably help. I used to live over the back of a factory which had an air extraction system that made a constant hum, not really loud, just enough to get on your nerves though. They were really good, came round had a listen, wrote a letter, and the factory had to switch it off, which they did (was bliss when it stopped!) Hope you can manage to relax, I know what it's like.

Well, I thought I was oving soon, had ewcm a few days ago, but all seems to have gone away, and I haven't had my usual day of tummy ache I get with ov. Trouble is my cycle is so messed up, I spotted for a week and a half last month before AF got going properly, so not sure where I am cd wise. Knowing my luck I'm not going to ov this month. Guess all I can do is wait and see, and keep up the bd in the hope of hitting the right time (oh, such a hardship lol).

petunia · 07/08/2005 19:43

Evening all,
How's your weekend been? I'm feeling slightly stressed at the moment. Our next door neighbours are Turkish and the've gone to Turkey for 6 weeks. Their Mercedes has an alarm which goes off when the battery's getting flat. It's been 3 weeks since they went so the car's not moved in that time. The bloody alarm's been going off since 3ish this afternoon. It isn't too loud, bit like a house alarm that's several streets away. But it's the same every year, they leave the car and this alarm goes off. Beginning to wonder whether the car's insured against mad, ranting neighbour with an axe!

As far as ttc (trying to think calm, relaxing thoughts now!), think I ov last Sunday/Monday. AF isn't due til a week on Wednesday. Getting so many aches and pains, I feel premenstrual already!

Have a nice evening everyone. Think I'm off to lie down in a darkened room! Catch you all tomorrow.

strike1 · 07/08/2005 17:38

Afternoon chaps, just been catching up on some of the thread. Welcome Aunytnon, sorry about your m/c Hopefully your af will appear quickly and you can getting on with ttc!

Sorry to hear about the gall stones Maddyd! Ouch! You hang in there ttc though, things happen at funny times

Having a really heavy af. This is my second since the m/c and I expected the first one to be the heaviest, maybe that's why ttc didn't work this month as I still needed to clear everything through. Anyway, I'm desperately pouring over my diary, working out dates. It seems I have a long cycle so I'll have to keep dh locked in the bedroom this month to make sure we catch the right moment, tough job

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 07/08/2005 17:20

Been so busy this weekend and just logged on to see if Shelly had posted........

Sounds wonderful Xena!! Great weather for it.
Maddy- yep tested again, bfn. Woke early this morning (as per) tired, and stayed tired all day. feeling queasy too so definitely not pg as I never get queasy then. Endo is killing, kept me awake all night so pretty sure af will be back (only been off since monday ). Will be testing again Monday as that will be 10dpo but don't think it will be positive (got the tests so may aswell use em eh? lol).
How's everyone?
Really flagging here, just want hot bath and bed!

Xena · 07/08/2005 14:56

Hi Girls. We have been camping since fri night and we had a great time!! Lovely weather for it.

SHELLY WOOOHOOO Congratulations.

maddyd · 07/08/2005 12:27

shelly24 · 07/08/2005 11:36

Hi mads,i'm here
Just emerged from bed cos i was EXSAUSTED last night and just want to sleep, sleep, sleep!!zzzzzz
Soz to hear about those blooming galstones!(what a pain in the a**e that is!!!)Try not to let it delay your ttc too much though,
Thanks for your lovely message mads,it made me cry too!!,i won't let myself get too excited at the mo,but i am pretty scared!!!,...even though we've been told nothing like what happened with Rhys will happen again,i still get negative thoughts, and prob won't be 100% until i hear that baby cry and hold it in my arms!!!
Its gonna be a long road for me i think, but i'll hopefully try to enjoy it abit more as time goes on...especially after i have a scan and see that little bean on the screen!!

maddyd · 07/08/2005 10:32

Thanks petunia. There is no way i can wait three months maybe longer. Im just going to have to learn to live with it and change my diet even more.

Shelly where are you???????

Hellkat how you doing? Have you tested agian yet?? Youve had such a rough time with your af's i hope it turms out good for you

petunia · 07/08/2005 09:06

Shelly- congratulations

Maddyd- I'd been hoping you were OK, hadn't seen you on here for a few days. Good for you deciding not to wait. I think sometimes you've got to say "I'm fed up with my body giving me grief all the time, I want to get pg now!"

maddyd · 07/08/2005 08:14

Oh Shelly i couldnt be more pleased for you if i tried im crying too. You miust be so excited and scared too. Please stick around and keep us informed of everything. I want to drive down to heathrow now and give you a great big hug. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(((((((((((((((((xxx)))))))))))))))))))))

I have had some really rough days and been in and out of Docs and a trip to Hosp. The long and short of it is there is no quick fix to gall stones. They dont operate when there is a flare up un bloody beliavable. I could be in pain for a least 3 months and they dont give a poo poo. I have to learn to live with it and change my diet even though i dont eat fatty foods and even Alpen sets it off.

There is NO WAY i am waiting 3 months or more to concieve so im still going to try though maybe not this month.

But nothing can get me down now cos Shelly is preggers Hooray!!!!!

nicmum2boys · 06/08/2005 12:54

Well done Shelly!!!!! Really really pleased for you, congratulations!
Did you use the clearblue digital?
I'm sure you know everyone on here will be here supporting you for as long as you need it. Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months .

strike1 · 06/08/2005 12:02

I've got a lot of catching up to do, so I'll read down the thread today and catch up with you all soon. Hope everyone is well.

HellKat · 06/08/2005 10:38

think af will be back soon here. Boobs hurt, craving choc, extra tired! Will test today and Monday to rule out pg (pretty sure I'm not because I've been on/off testing) but best to be safe than sorry eh? Had bad af type pains all week and won't be happy to see her again at all (only been on a week!).

HellKat · 06/08/2005 10:28

shelly24 · 06/08/2005 09:47

Morning girls, hope all of you are well
This is a very nerve racking message for me to write,as i haven't quite got my head around it yet,but i did a clearblue test this morning and its def a BFP!!!i'm pregnant!!
To be honest i'm in complete shock and have been crying with joy all morning,i thank god that i've been given another chance to have a healthy baby, but the whole thing is going to be hard,so i'm gonna rely on mn to get me through.
This will happen for all you ladies in the very near future too!i guarentee it!!Believe in yourself as a strong and derermined woman, and you will bring home that baby you all are aching for
I'll go to the docs on mon,and i'll get in touch soon, love to you all.x.x

HellKat · 06/08/2005 09:41

Morning all!
Diddle- Missed ya too hun!!! Yep get bad ov pain here too. According to that programme "The Human Body", we get the pain because the ovary splits roughly 5mm when it it releases the egg hence it hurts! fascinating to watch though.
Humphreys- Lol at sending you men!!!! Have a great time watching the brum brums (oh god, my brain has absorbed too much of ds2! )

auntynon · 05/08/2005 22:17

zena, I have a dd almost 2 yrs, have also added stats to thread. Really want her to have sibling. I know I'm lucky to have one but I'd prefer her not to be only child, I'm one of three, dh one of four. Would love to have three but must not get greedy, as we all know too well nothing can be taken for granted.

HumphreysCorner · 05/08/2005 20:13

Evening ladies

for all of you not having such a good day-hope to see a tomorrow.

Yesterday was my fertile day supposedly but was sooooo knackered after trying to start the bloody mower that I fell asleep at 10pm so no BD -gutted if I have mieed the vital moment. Got to send some more men in there tonight .

Off to Brands Hatch tomorrow for the weekend so hoping to find some good news from shelly24 on my return ((xx))

Check up on you on Monday-have a lovely weekend y'all.

P.S. Eugene to go!
P.P.S. Peed on a stick again yesterday and after 30 mins there is that lovely feint pink line-don't you just love it. Aaargh-either evap line or residue from the MC.

xxxx

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 05/08/2005 19:26

shelly24 are you around? How has your day been?

AF seems to be tailing off.Have a heavy day at start then goes after 3 so quite lucky.Ov tests arrived in post so all geared up for this month. Its a merry-go-round isnt it?

nicmum2boys · 05/08/2005 18:14

Lunarsea, I'm getting that too at the moment, my cycles are getting shorter and shorter, not really sure what can be done about if anything. I was going to see how it goes this month and then see the doctor. I'm pretty sure I'm oving though, just seem to have a lf of about 7 days, well last month was anyway, which I don't think is long enough for implantation. Sorry your doctor isn't helping you .

nicmum2boys · 05/08/2005 18:10

Hi guys, how are you all? Not been around for a few days, been feeling really lousy, all the left hand side of my face is really painful, it's very odd. Went to the doctors today could only get in to see the nurse, but she said it might be shingles, or if I'm lucky (!) just a viral thing that's affecting the nerves in my face. Great! Just hope it goes away soon whatever it is as I'm starting to get ewcm, so must be coming up to ov time. I'm not amused!

Shelly, really rooting for you here, think you know you are pregnant, but can really understand your disbeleif at the moment. Hang on in there.

Maddyd how did it go at the doctors? Not a good time for all this to be happening. Don't know very much about gallstones except they are painful. Hope it all gets treated quickly.

Diddle, I get ov pains, sort of twinges in the few days leading up to, and then I'm really really sore on the actual day of ov, which is a bit inconvenient, as can make bd a bit tricky, but needs must!

Tabs, I can't open the pdf to read that article, not sure why, our computer's going a bit doolally at the moment, but thanks for sending it. Can anyone give me a brief synopsis? Will def be getting some royal jelly though.

Well, better go and do bath and bedtime, going to spend the evening wrapping presents as DS1 is 5 tomorrow. Catch up with you all later, xx.
