Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

This month looks promising, we have to get a bfp from one (hopefully all) of you three! I'll get excited for you, so just sit back and relax

Diddle · 15/08/2005 10:46

wishingchair - its so hard to resist testing and not get your hopes up isn't it. I went to a cafe last week and the smell of the cooked food made me heave, and i am trying so hard to stay calm and just see what happens.
Fingers crossed right back at you!!! hope you get the result we all want. good luck

Hi everyone

Diddle and Petunia - got fingers crossed for you!

I'm due any day now ... 28 days is Thurs but I'm usually 2-3 days early. Have come to work prepared with tampax etc in an attempt to remain calm and expect the inevitable. Have got the usual tummy cramps and back ache so don't think this is my month. BUT - this morning put some clothes in DD's new wardrobe and the new wardrobe smell sent me running to the loo where I spent the next 5 mins dry heaving. Very strange.

Am resisting testing till Wed/Thurs as I know I'll only feel foolish if it's -ve.

Diddle · 15/08/2005 09:51

wow - i'm impressed you have excellent will power.

Evening all

Diddle-could it be good news for you-hope so! ((xx))

petunia-one of us testing soon must hit the jackpot-surely???? The first time I used those strips was on the due day of AF and it was so bright pink and an obvious result so by the laws of average it should have showed up many days before but paler so my results today must be truly negative and correct-BAH!. Dare you to test-go on. I've got really horrible period pain so I think AF is on her way. Was feeling sick but think it was worrying about having a filling . My boobs are very sore but only coz I keep squeezing them! Good luck hun ((xx))

nicmum2boys-try and relax (know it is difficult though). ((xx))

I think I'm going to read up again on HCG levels. Won't make any difference to the result I suppose as no line means no HGC so no baby end of (thanks Craig).

Hope everyone is chillin'.

Byee for now

Diddle · 14/08/2005 16:05

petunia - sounds quite positive then, lets not get your hopes up though.

nicmum2boys - Thank you for your opinion, could be anything couldn't it. But i can't rule out the implantation bleeding and really hope that it is. fingers crossed.
Hate the wait and see stage, just want to know now.

Diddle that does sound like it could be implantation bleeding. Up until we started ttc this time round, the only bleeding I've had mid cycle has been implantation bleeding, and it has varied from bright red spotting, to browny discharge much like you describe (had it with all 4 pgs, 2DSs 2mc). Previously I would have said it must be implantation, except that for the last 2 months since we started ttc I have had a mid cycle bleed 7dpo and got all excited, but tested -ve, so obviously wasn't implantation Confused. Sorry, not been much help there have I?? 'fraid you are in that oh so annoying postion of "wait and see".

Ooh Petunia, sounding good........ really hoping it's early pg symptoms, good luck for wednesday

HC I thought hcg was produced from the time of implantation, like you say, what's a girl to believe?

I am trying to stay calm and relaxed, but after last months continual bleeding from 7dpo debacle I am already getting really tense that I'm going to be bleeding everytime I go to the loo, and I think I'm only 2dpo. This is ridiculous, I need to get a grip somehow, I mean, what happens when I do get pregnant, cos I know I'm going to be even more terrified of bleeding then, and lets face it I've bled every time I've been pregnant, so the odds on sailing through it without any scares are pretty slim. Need to go and sit in a corner and switch off 'til testing time lol.

petunia · 14/08/2005 14:25

Diddle- the sickness, I've had that before with pg, along with aching boobs and not sleeping very well, and I've got all that too! Still trying to resist testing though!

Diddle · 14/08/2005 14:18

thanks strike1 & petunia.

strike1 - glad you're on a promise now heres to lots of successful bd.

Petunia - sorry to hear you're under the weather, very strange that you're feeling sick, is it obe of your pg symptoms? Fingers crossed for you, let us know how you get on, and i wonder if you will resist testing before Weds, don't think i could.

Afternoon all,
Been feeling rather off-colour the last few days. Not been sick but felt sick, and also tired but then I've not been sleeping well either! Trying to resist testing before Wednesday. Early testing never works for me, tried a test the day before AF was due with DD2, and it was -tive but +tive the next day. Must resist, must resist!

Diddle- haven't got any experience of implantation bleeding but fingers crossed for you.

Morning all,
something very weird going on with me this weekend.
I will warn you that there is TMI coming up

Have had a brown discharge, started yesterday, Very much like normal ewcm consistency but with a brown colour mixed in. Very weird. Not much of it, not even on wiping, but just the occassional blob in underwear.
Not sure what to think, the only time I have had this sort of stuff, is at the end of my period, and thats not normally like ewcm gone brown, and when i started my m/c's. So am i having an early m/c, very early as i'm only ov'd about 7 or 8 days ago, am i having implantation bleed, never had one, wouldn't know what it was like anyway, or is my body just totally screwed up??
Answers on a postcard please!!!

I have never had any discharge mid cycle before in my life. AF is not due for 12 days. So what the hell is going on. anyone got any ideas?

Morning ladies

How are you all? Not much happening here, weather awful so stuck inside. Keep having 'those' dreams-you know, the one where you dream that you have done a positive test then wake up and find it's not true. Sooo had to get up at 4am this morning and do one but not even an evap line today, just a boring bright pink test line. Think I will leave off testing until Thursday. Paternityangel.com say that HCG only begins secreting on the day your AF is due so what is a girl to believe?

Well, that's enough of me going on and on so will leave you in peace for a few hours.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Lots of love and hugs.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 14/08/2005 10:23

Lunarsea

Change doctors. Its the only way forward. Its simply unacceptable that you cannot get the treatment you require because your gp doesnt think you need it.You are entitled to a second opinion and the fact that the other gps are going along with his decision is very frustrating and totally unfair.

My friend tried for years to concieve and was given clomid by her doctor. She now has a son and has just had a little girl. She said recently that without her doctors intervention she would never have had children.(shes 37)

I wish I could come to your gp's with you lunarsea.I would tear a bloody strip off him!!

LunarSea · 14/08/2005 08:46

nicmum2boys - I've already tried taking dh along too, but to no avail. And sunnyside - he is the senior GP. And the others just say "you've already discussed this with doctor X haven't you" and seem to go along with him.

I'm hopefully going to see a consultant privately - info from him does say bring the referal letter from your GP, but I'm hoping I won't just get thrown out if I explain the situation, but that despite it our GP is insistent on no referal.

sunnyside · 13/08/2005 23:28

Lunarsea I'm sure that you've thought of/ done this but just in case: put your case in writing to the senior partner at the practice; that way it should at least be a matter for discussion. Sometimes , dare I say, esp if your gp is older they just haven't moved with the times and a little friendly pressure from a respected colleague and all that may do the trick. Worth a try?

nicmum2boys · 13/08/2005 15:08

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a relaxing weekend.
Think I am definately oving yesterday/today, as I've had lots of lower abdominal pain, and been feeling very keen to bd . I've resisted doing an opk as I'd rather live in blissful ignorance, and assume I am. I'll only get wound up if I do a test and I'm not. Just hope I have more of a normal cycle this month. Will be seeing the doctor if not.

Lunarsea, I can't beleive your gp won't refer you. Would it help if you and your DH went to see him together?

Dh is out tonight, so I have the telly all to myself. Going to catch up an Nip-Tuck I think, or maybe watch Lost as I missed it the other night. Diddle, I can thoroughly recommend sky+, it's fab, definately worth the money imo. It's very clever, I could for example tape Lost tonight to watch another time, tape the cricket on sky sports for DH, and watch nip-tuck from earlier in the week, all at the same time. Not sure how it works, just know it's brill!

HumphreysCorner · 12/08/2005 18:22

Evening all-thanks for all you well wishes for our anniversary. Had a lovely evening as I went out with my friend Got home at 11-30pm and DH on the computer (doing work grrrhh) until 12-00am so went to bed alone! Was too tired though and not worth the effort due to AF being due next Thursday.

Peed on a stick this morning and nothing so don't know if it is just too early-will perhaps wait until Monday and test again and if nothing again will test on Wednesday as a last resort. Not holding out much hope though.

Right, wine time and should think about getting some tea ready. Salad again as trying to lose some weight to assist with the TTC bit.

Lots of love and hugs to you all.

HellKat · 12/08/2005 17:57

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 12/08/2005 11:42

Lunarsea

I am shocked about your GP.DEMAND a referral. Its your right. How dare he say that there is no problem when you have been trying so long.Who so they think they are.You might just need some clomid, its done the trick for most of my friends who are all over 35. I am 38 and have only been ttc for a couple of months. If it drags on I will be INSISTING on treatment. Its hard when you this side of 35 and you feel that time is running out. In fact its not and with a bit of help from your gp you should be adding to your family very soon

xxxx

Diddle · 12/08/2005 11:16

I agree with you Strike- Lunarsea, sounds like you should be referred, and I think if it were me I would definitly complain, wihtout a doubt. This is something that is really important to you, even if it isn't to your DR.

strike1 - yep, good things come to those who wait.
