A bfp for yellowflowers!

yellowflowers · 06/04/2010 15:57

After over two years, some false alerts (lots of symptoms and possible faint/evaporation lines but never a real line), lots of blood tests and other more invasive tests and bowlfuls of tears, today I got a bfp on a digital! What?s more, I am overweight (bmi 40), dh had two not great sperm tests (though the last one was fine) and we were due to start iui with clomid next cycle ? in fact I was going to start clomid this week after period started. Obviously it?s incredibly early days and I will be hoping and thinking positive that this works out but thought those of you who have supported me over the past two years would like to know.

Hi Duelingfanjo - well we should be a couple of days apart so we can follow each other the whole way.

Hi Whammie - pleased you are doing well. Thanks for the advice.

xx

That's brilliant news yellowflowers!! Just take things easy & let us know how you're getting on.

I'm 17 weeks at the moment, feels like ages ago I was on the 'Don't you just hate...' thread. I had period like cramps from 4wks until around 12 wks, still get emotional over the slightest thing lol.

Take care xx

DuelingFanjo · 13/04/2010 18:50

I will be due around 12th Dec I think, that's just from my calculations.

I completely recognise the way you feel, how all you have been through seems to fade into the background. I feel the same but also anxious. Here's to a happy and healthy nine months

yellowflowers · 13/04/2010 17:30

Thanks Claireinthecommunity and Duellingfanjo.

Claireinthecommunity - so pleased it is encouraging for you. I have had some dark moments over the past couple of years. You might not believe me but now it feels as if none of it happened, though of course there is new anxiety over whethe rthis will work out.

Duellingfanjo - that is brilliant news - I am so pleased. When do you think you are due? I didn't realise you were same person as beanie. I love the new name though.

xx

Congratulations yellowflowers

You won't know me but I remember your name from when I used to just lurk on the TTC threads.

Dh and I have been TTC for nearly a year now without success, you have given me hope.

All the best to you throughout your pregnancy x.

DuelingFanjo · 13/04/2010 15:07

I just wanted to say massive Congrats. I remeber you posting at around the time I started trying (I was Beanieb/beaniesteve back then) and it's really good to hear that you have been successful

Congratulations.

I'll be joining you in the Dec thread as I just got my BFP too

flintski · 11/04/2010 21:40

I had quite a lot of nausea early on and be prepared for the intense tiredness that hits around 6 weeks - I still get a bit like it now.

Hope all is ok with you - just saw your message on names board - good luck but names will just come to you! end credits of tv shows are good!

Vikks · 10/04/2010 09:01

Wow Yellow Congratulations!!!

Welcome to the club! H&H 9 months to you. I'm so happy for you and so glad you didn't need IUI. Enjoy every minute of your PG..... X

motherbeyond · 09/04/2010 09:49

how lovely,congratulations!

yellowflowers · 09/04/2010 09:46

wow, that's so lovely. I am mainly just worried it won't work out but also trying to stay positive.

Symptoms - felt very ropey this morning. Also have bad tummy (def not constipation!), and stuffy nose. And burst into tears last night when dh wouldn't discuss names because he was reading a book - is that a symptom?

What about you?

am fine yellowflowers - had my scan a couple of weeks ago which was a real relief. I am due 1st Oct so still quite a long way to go. Any symptoms yet?

yellowflowers · 08/04/2010 12:06

Congrats Bexxaa. How lovely.

Congratulations!

yellowflowers · 06/04/2010 21:54

Thank you all! So chuffed. Am cautiously excited. Can't stop talking about it. Think dh bored already! He thinks I am a bit premature in my demands for a post birth helium balloon and what will we do for Christmas with a teeny baby talk. Haha. Did I say cautiously? But seriously trying to stay calm for next eight weeks.

Tayto I haven't forgotton I said I'd email you. I will.

X

Hurrah!! Am delighted for you

I saw last night that you'd had what you thought was an evap line, so was actually checking up today (a stalker? moi? ).

Yes, it's early days but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy your BFP. You deserve it!

SparkyMalarky · 06/04/2010 17:56

Hooray!!
