**********January 2011 bus now departing**********

Afternoon ladies! I would very much like to join you on the January bus (although should TECHNICALLY be on the December bus) but as a newbie I didn't want to join a dying thread...I hope you will still let me on!

Being on mumsnet, I believe, gave me so much good luck last time so I am hoping it will do the same again!

I conceived DS1 on cycle 1 after having my implant removed. I have since lost 3 stone and am much healthier and more active so I am hoping all this will help this time round! My stats for the list are.....

Hi Livviloo Gosh what a lot of similarities! Both having older children ttc#3 and even on the same cycle day!!

To be honest, I'm having a bit of a wobbly about ttc today... My DH is 11 years older than me and I started to think of the future and how old we would both be when our DS1 would be 18 and what it would be like and then thought, god, if we have another baby now, he would be 66 when the new baby reached 18...

I panicked and thought, when DS1 is 18 we would have each other back again and begin our time, but with another baby we would still have a 9 year old at home... Oh I'm so confused today and have got myself in a right tizz! Sorry, I didn't mean to splurge at you...

HI Louindevon I too am 36 and have DS age 9 and DD age 8 next week so its a similar big deal for us. DS was a surprise and DD too 3 months so 4 months in and I'm on new territory here!

Am clearly an amateur! Jumping back to the December bus. I seem to have some kind of mid-cycle bleeding instead of full AF.

Thanx Kittycatcat. You might find that you are ok. I've on and off the pill so much that I was four weeks late this month, so after several negative pregnancy tests am kind of relieved to at least know where I am now with it all.
Looking forward to getting back to all the ttc

I came off the pill just over a year ago, and we started trying, but then DF proposed so we put it on hold. Wedding is only 2 months away and i couldnt wait any longer!! Am hoping it happens quickly as the pill has had so long to get out of my system. Fingers crossed for you bensmum

Hello Can I join please? I have no idea of what I need to do, so please excuse me and feel free to treat me like a complete 'nana and tell me! I'm 36 so hopefully not too much older than everyone else???

I have just started ttc#3 and as much as I am REALLY broody for another baby/child, I am also scared stiff as my other 2 boys are 8 and 6 so another baby will be a huge deal for us all... I am hoping that all the doubts will go away when I get pregnant (and not get worse!!)
