5DPO here, im rubbish at not testing and swore after last months chem pg that i wouldnt test early again but i can feel a test coming on at the weekend which will make me 10dpo - i hate hate hate the bloody 2ww - its so frustrating. I dont know why but last month i had a feeling that i was pg even before the initial faint line - i was getting lots and lots of af type cramps post ovulation and this time im getting absolutely nothing so not really feeling it this month, still it wont stop me testing at the weekend, if its negative (which i suspect it will be) then ill just be wishing for AF so i can start Allllllll over again, oh goody! ... Can you tell this ttc lark is getting on my nerves ?

Well 4 days PO and have felt sick once, had cramps once and poked my boobS 4 times!!

Although my stats say cycle 6 - we have only really had one "good" attempt where I got my days right (as my cycle can vary from 27 - 32 days we were SWI too late as I was assuming a 30 day cycle, so I'm not really stressed about it.

Now I'm a bit more intune with EWCM ets so here's hoping.

Well DH and I at least managed to have sex at some point during what should be fertile time this cycle so that's an improvement on last cycle, there is a chance at least! Fingers x'd for everyone

Congratulations, Emma - lovely news.

We're in the midst of SWIing (not literally ), although still not feeling like it this month. Hope others have been more, ahem, active! It'll be a bloody miracle if I conceive this time around.

Is anyone else sick of the advice you get when people know you're ttc? "Oh, just relax and it will happen" to which I want to respond, "Bugger off". Not very witty, I know, but if I hear one more story about how so and so tried for ages and then went on holiday and got pregnant then I'll scream. If I want to obsess and chart my cycle then I bloody well will.

mummychicken thanks! I do feel like a bit of a bitch! A jammy one at that! I tested again this mornign and it was a stronger quicker positive...I am feeling a little bit like this is too good to be true, conceiving first time both times we've TTC! I know that sounds daft as some of you have been trying for much longer and I'm sorry for whinging!!

I am hoping this is a sticky one and that I can spread tonnes of babydust for everyone! Really hope to see lots more BFPs!!

I'm getting really impatient now and can't wait until Saturday to test!! No reason to think that I'm pregnant, but then, have no pre-menstrual signs, well, except being rather grouchy... (can you still get PMT if you are pregnant? I can't remember! You would think I would know it all after 2, but seem to have forgotten everything!)

The excitment is making me feel very young and positive again though so only a good thing.

I was considering buying and OPK kit in Sainsburys today. My reasoning was that if I spent £18 on it, then I would bound to pregnant as I wouldn't need it (an insurance policy?) Needless to say, I talked myself out of it...

I've also lost a day on the stats, I should be Day 26.

I am still going to hang around for a while if no-one minds...I don't quite feel ready yet to graduate to any ante-natal threads!

In my excitement I forgot the supplement question! I only take folic acid, took pregnacare with DS but I am only 23 and DP is only 30 so I took the position that we shouldnt need anything extra! Im sure if it had taken more than 2 cycles I would have started taking them!

Re the supplements taken, I am on Vit B6, Agnus Castus, Evening Primrose Oil and a pregnancy multivit. Did I mention that I rattle

Well I tested again at lunchtime (did I mention I am a POAS addict?!?!) Used a first response, not the early one, the bog standard use on the day of missed period one, and there was a feint line but not until like 5 mins, the disregard time being 10mins, so I am starting to believe! I have 1 more FR to use tomorrow morning, then a Tesco cheapy for Wednesday morning! If all is looking good then I will buy a CB digi just to see the word "pregnant"...to summarise, I am now quietly confident! Just hope it's a sticky one!

panda I think they say see a doctor after 12 months of trying if you are under 35, but go after 6 months if you are over 35
I'm 29, but DH is 40, so I thought it was better to air on the side of caution.

I told the GP how long we'd been trying for and he was happy to refer for tests, but did stress lots of SWI is the way forward, and also advised avoiding stress/working late when I'm OVing

I'm also slightly concered that I have quite a short leutal phase - it is around 10 days which isn't dangerously short, but is quite short so I thought it was worth checking out.
And I'm also hugely impatient

sparechange can I ask, I thought Docs made you wait 12 months before they started doing tests - I'm not at that stage yet but just curious (I dread having to wait 12 months to TTC; I'm so impatient)
