Hello girls! Wow it's just taken me ages to catch up!
Weekend was lovely thanks but was a bit seeing our friends yesterday... our goddaughter was an absolute delight and got some gorgeous pics of her cuddling up to dh...but her 3yo brother was throwing massive strops and tantrums...dh and I were a bit that that is the reality of kids...what have we let ourselves in for
Antenatal was fab today and I'm really sad it's over already! Met some lovely people... we will all be keeping in touch though. The labour rehearsal was quite weird, she played white noise to signify contractions & the ones towards the end went on for aaages...eek I am a bit scared! DH and I kept giggling though cos she was saying stuff like 'draw strength from women past' hahaha! I told dh he can say that in the labour room to make me laugh
4ever in answer to your question, NCT has been great...they are a bit militant about breastfeeding and unmedicated labours but you can take or leave that stuff. A fewcouples there had been to NHS ones too and said NCT had been a lot better (I guess you do pay for it so you'd hope it would be good!) Here's my hand for your scan tomorrow lovely.
Btw I'm 32 weeks on Weds.
Barbie lol at the poo story and I agree you sound like you're doing amazingly well Your poor MIL with her eye getting worse, how horrible. That's lovely she'll get to meet D before it's removed though.
PFJ hope things improve with dh. If it helps, my due date is May and it's coming up WAY too fast for my liking, and everyone keeps saying 'oooh not long!' so it really isn't far away Iggy is totally right that on the other side the wait doesn't feel long at all. It was hell waiting 5 months for my BFP but now I can't believe how fast everything has happened & my mc was only a year ago.
Is Neeko in labour?? She is suspiciously quiet! I reckon we'll have a new cyber nephew soon
Blue I think mine's a boy too! DH keeps calling it 'he' too...we'll see!
Iggy ooh exciting about the house going on the market we move Saturday. The flat is a TIP right now and PFJ is right we're going through the boxes a lot quicker than we thought we would all feels a bit overwhelming at the moment but looking forward to just getting it all in the new place.
Vjay soooo sad about the fish hope your pain improves too, sounds horrible! Love the new pic too!
monkey if you're lurking here's my other hand for your scan. Sure everything will be just fine and you and MLS will be in those big pants in no time
My friend is out of hospital now by the way and seems to be doing well. Hospital are being v vague with her about what happened but she thinks placenta wasn't fully delivered to start with
