Bluemoon thank you so much for sharing what happened to you, I know it can't be easy to talk about it and I hope I haven't upset you by asking. What happened to you was just too awful for words and I am really that you have had to go through that. Your experience with the medical management sounds horrendous and I am sorry that you are having such a rough ride of it with TTC too. I can see why your DF was (in his own way!) trying to protect you. Must have been scary for him to see you go through all of that.

And yes, you can, and will have it all. i suppose some people just have a bumpier ride to get there than others {sad]

On a brighter note, did I mention how much I love weddings so would happily talk for hours about all things bridal!

Thanks Neeko , not sure how long I can keep it up, you guys are brilliant at the personalised posts, I am trying to get everyone's places in my head at the moment and I have to keep looking back at the list

Barbie just had a sneaky peak at your profile, thinking that you may have photos of your baby and seen that your DD is gorgeous, what beautiful hair Wondered what you meant about the heat until I saw your profile, I thought well the sun is out today, but surely it can't be that hot

Had a busy day doing the garden, very productive, but very tiring, ready for a soak in the bath now.

BlueMoon1981 · 28/03/2010 17:07

ha ha lovely! i hope for poor Devons sake she looks much more beautiful than that! i get your drift though bless her, if she is happy then who cares

barbie1 · 28/03/2010 17:04

my poor girl!

BlueMoon1981 · 28/03/2010 16:41

thanks barbie i cant open your picture? imagining it to be like me in the mornings pre ghd days i havent given up on my dreams yet, but i wonder sometimes if i am greedy to want it all? i look at my friends and family and wonder what they did to deserve it all and if i did something wrong?

i went off to make a mess cake to keep myself occupied and ended up tidying the whole kitchen (i am another monica on the thread)

hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, anyone else being sad and watching dancing on ice?

barbie1 · 28/03/2010 15:35

poor girl....

barbie1 · 28/03/2010 15:34

its so hot here today 39 degrees that i have just finished feeding Devon for now and her hair is all sweaty and looks like this girl

barbie1 · 28/03/2010 15:25

moon here is a tissue you brave brave lady.....I hope by writting that last post it was like some kind of therapy for you.
Remember as i have told you before, never give up on your dreams, without them what is worth waking up each morning for...YOU WILL have it all, the wedding, the baby etc etc, unfortuantly sometimes it just takes a little longer thats all.

I say lets all plan your wedding, get your mojo back, have something exciting to do in order to get you through each day excited and a smile on that face of yours, have sex for fun and learn to laugh again and i bet you will end up with a big dress hiding a big bump...

sorry still have only one hand

BlueMoon1981 · 28/03/2010 15:11

Hello lovely ladies

who had the silly idea of putting the clocks forward now back is fine with me, but not forward, there arent enough hours in the day as it is without throwing one away!

neeko wow how are you still here?! i mean of course we love you being here, but we need to be cooing over your new bubba!

oh louey so sorry you are having a crap time, sending you a huge hug, keep talking on here, one of us has usually been through something similar who will be able to help you. i had to take iron tablets too after my 2nd mc, yuck!

jools bq and mermaid hope you are lurking to see me waving to you all

qa thanks for the engagement congrats i still cant say miscarriage without getting tears in my eyes, so you are doing really well. of course you can ask my story, and feel free to ask anything else you like even if it seems silly, no one will laugh at you.

dp and i had been trying for our 1st baby for 10 months before i fell pregnant, but to be fair he worked away a lot then so i think our timing sometimes wasnt great which is why it took so long, so obviously we were overjoyed when we found out it had worked! however, it didnt last long, and i was about 8 weeks when i started bleeding. it was a natural miscarriage and was just like a heavy period. i had never heard of the epu so i went to the doctors who i have to say were absolutely useless and very unsympathetic, and all they did was keep sending me for blood tests to measure my hcg levels, and one nurse even told me on the phone its fine your baby is still there, only to be told another week later i had miscarried that was in february 2009. found my lifesavers - all these lovely ladies in march.

in april i very luckily fell pregnant again and ironically it was just a few days before my 12 week scan (even though i was 13 weeks but my appointment was late) when i started bleeding very lightly. went straight to the epu this time who scanned me and said the baby had died but they said i had to wait another week as in some rare cases they can be wrong, so had to carry my dead baby around went back in to confirm things but by this time i had stopped bleeding, so needed to decide on medical management or surgery. i chose medical management partly because i was afraid of surgery and partly because i felt i had to 'live' the experience, i didnt want to go to sleep with the baby there and wake up with it gone iykwim? i took the tablets, got sent home and told to come back 2 days later. except i started gushing huge amounts of blood so got rushed into hospital, things got stuck coming out, so they had to remove it by hand, laid on this table, no pain relief, blood everywhere, no one telling me whats going on, was horrible unbeknown to me that was only part 1, so more tablets later i had a repeat performance, and they put me on a drip and told me i may need surgery and a blood transfusion (thankfully i didnt). They put me on a gynae ward with 1 girl who had bad morning sickness and had scan photos and 1 girl who thought she was losing her baby but had appendicitis and also had scan photos i think i cried nearly all day.

i didnt mean to write all that sorry if thats tmi, i obviously needed to get it out! so thats me, gave it a 3 month break as thats what df wanted, been trying again ever since. its been a hard emotional ride, and theres not one minute goes by where i dont think about my 2 lost los, and i darent think about never being to able to have baby as i've always wanted kids so badly.

off to blow my nose now

barbie1 · 28/03/2010 12:04

Grrrrrrr bloody Tiger Woods having an affair with a stripper called Devon.....Tarnishing my baby's name

Hi everyone, one i get m y second hand back ill be back to post

neeko you HAVE to have sex, is the only answer

Neeko · 28/03/2010 11:43

Morning QA Can't believe how quickly and well you've settled into this thread. Saying the 'M' word out loud is awful. I remember going for a line from the doctor after self-certifying for a week. Poor guy was in his 1st wk as a GP and I was a blubbering, snotty mess. Think he'd have signed me off for 6 months if I'd asked. Big hugs - you're doing great.

Neeko · 28/03/2010 11:37

Louey Sending you huge hugs and hairstrokes. What a horrible time you are having. It always seems as if life is out to get you after a MC. Take care xx

Curly Don't MNHQ know that 3am is the busiest time on here? What a silly time to back up!

Had pains all night and little sleep but no progress. Very fed up.

Hapy Sunday all. Hope you find something to make you

QuestionsAnswered · 28/03/2010 11:29

Hello all

Hope you are all having a good weekend. Will attempt a catch up!

Vjay really glad you have made your decision and everything is going well, decisions are always harder in the making, but it is amazing that once it is made how right it can feel iyswim. It's such an emotional decision to stop breastfeeding, but you had done so well already and your health is important too.

cupcake how sweet of your friends to remember the anniversary, you must have been really touched of them to remember. Have you moved far?

bluemoon thank you for the welcome. I take it you have been waiting to test. Do you mind if I ask your 'story'? I am just trying to think about whether to ttc. I too am waiting for the bunny smilies! Sorry your Df (congratulations on the engagement btw) was being so insensitive, however it does sound like he was trying to protect you in a 'you cavewoman, me caveman kind of way

blue can you speak to your Gp as I think they do a lactose free formula free on prescription, but this is some nugget of info dragged from the far reaches of what used to be a brain Have you had a lot to deal with while they are trying to work out if it is lactose intolerance?

MLS hope you are having a nice weekend and getting some rest and not busy out stalking neeko

4ever everytime I read your posts, I feel really emotional for you, you are dealing with such alot. Your workplace sounds delightful good job you are not in the mood for a fight otherwise you could kick up a stink. The sleeplessness will really be making everything feel ten times worse, I am terrible without sleep so you have my sympathies. (Ps, it is Louey with The DT's, I don't mind being given them as I am sure they are gorgeous!, but don't want to steal Louey's thunder

curly glad you like your new hair, it can make such a difference just having time to yourself and having your hair cut can't it? Makes you feel like a new woman. I sometimes come out of the hairdressers all Loreal like, swishing my hair

louey i am so sorry that you have had such a crappy time, the last thing you needed was an infection after everything you have been through, and anaemia on top of that, just to make you feel even more tired and groggy, someone is having a laugh really hope the antibiotics kick in soon and you are getting plenty of help and rest.

Neeko I am glad you are still holding out for baby neeko, giving us newbies a chance! How are you today? Hope the braxton Hicks aren't too painful.

MrsKate congratulations on your very recent arrival

PFJ been thinking about you and hoping that you are feeling better. Hope you take my advice from our thread and realised that mini-eggs are not a cure for migraines Seriously, hope you are doing ok and having a lovely weekend with your Jack.

I am having a good weekend, did have a moment yesterday when I said something to DH about what had happened and actually said 'when I had the miscarriage' and promptly started crying. Think just saying the word MC, which I haven't said out loud very much, and relating it to myself, made it hit home a bit. Had a lovely takeaway curry, wine and DVD last night. Did have to stop the DVD early and go to bed at 9 though, still needing lots of sleep. Such a lightweight!

CurlyBigPants · 28/03/2010 07:41

louey big hugs honey. It is such a lot to cope with but the antibiotics will kick in and things will start looking brighter. These are the horrible dark days that we on this thread are all too familiar with so we are here with hugs and hairstrokes for you and questionsanswered and thePFJ whenever you need them. Once this infection and the rest of the physical stuff is better at least you can get on with healing your heart and it will get easier I promise for all of you. Nobody here expects you to get over losing your little ones but it will get easier to cope and one day soon we will be doing wobbly dances of joy at three more bfps on this thread - to add to our other small panters bfps which are coming soon on a more practical note I'd advise that you get some acidopholous from boots - or at least down lots of bio yogurts to prevent you getting thrush from the antibiottics on top of everything else. I'm also sending you over some hot chocolate and some comfy cushions so you can hang out in style in our greenhouse xxx

had written lots at 3am feed which I lost when they backed up the mn server grrrr

back later my lovelies for final catchups I know I have still missed people out but curlygirl is wriggling too much

MummyLovesSadie · 27/03/2010 20:31

Oh lovely Louey my heart goes out to you, it's one thing after another isn't it. Was the infection connected to your erpc? I had to have iron tablets after having my dd & they were horrible. Maybe you could ditch the tablets for Floradix? It's completely natural & doesn't have any of the horrible side-effects like constipation.

Sending masses of healing vibes your way.

loueytbg · 27/03/2010 20:14

Just popping to see whether babyneeko has put in an appearance yet. Need some good news.

I'm very sorry for the lack of personals. Ended up in A&E in the early hours after I woke up with a raging temperature. Drs have diagnosed infection and I'm now on 2 sets of antibiotics. If they don't start working in next 24 hrs then I will probably be readmitted. Oh and apparently I'm now anaemic so I'm on iron. I really think things can't get any worse.

4everhopeful · 27/03/2010 19:01

Mrsmermaid we miss you on here ? you are much loved remember that!

VJay · 27/03/2010 18:11

neeko no regular braxtons aint pathetic lol

OP posts:
Neeko · 27/03/2010 17:44

P.S. Blue Know you can get soya milk formula but would definitely check with doc/HV before using.

Neeko · 27/03/2010 17:43

Hi all.

Curlythemultitasker had a big at your catch up time. Surely hairdresser is where you get your fill of gossip mags. Glad all well with you. Those middle of the night feeds tonight will be much easier with swishy hair! Particularly liked you thanking PFJ for bringing mini eggs back

Blue and Moon Glad you're both ok. Can I join the group hug? Hope the granules work Blue and I have a craving for a bacon roll now. Moon Start leaving bridal magazines lying around with very expensive dresses circled, just to see what he says. enjoy the party tonight.

VJaythechilled Glad you've got it all sorted. Remember just to express enough to relieve pressure as too much will just prolong things. If pain gets bad try massaging with the shower head as it really helps. having regular braxtons - is that still pathetic?

Had a lovely afternoon. Friend's baby is sooo gorgeous and DD is very good with him. Hoping the cuddling worked. friend arrived with a subway and another friend arrived with pineapple cakes from Greggs - yum.

Happy Saturday night, ladies.

VJay · 27/03/2010 15:13

Hello, blue there's a girl in my post-natal swim group who has a wee boy that has to have a milk free diet, I'm not sure what she does about formula. I won't be seeing her for 2 weeks now, but will ask her about it when I next see her, though I hope you'll have an answer before then.

neeko bless you for still being here, I am thinking about you all the time just now, COME ON BABYNEEKO . I have just expressed some milk now to ease the discomfort, thanks for the advice.

moon I echo what all the others have said, DH is just trying to protect you

4everweeble remember you are such a strong brave lady, and in less than 3 months your little girl will be here, and as blue said, we will have a humdinger of a party on here , like we do for all our graduates

curly loving your catching up posts I think you got everybody and love the hair

mermaid and jools hope you are both ok

Thanks to all of you for advice about stopping the feeding. Ajay does most of his feeding during the night, so when he woke up at 1am I was secretly hoping he would refuse the bottle so I could whip out my boobs and feed him, but no, he loved the bottle. Now my boobs are humongous, so have expressed some, and feel better now, think I will continue this way. Don't feel so emotional about it all today, Ajay is happy , and so am I
Hope you are all having nice relaxing weekends, and cupcake you aren't doing too much xx

hi blue phew i can breathe again now shall we start off a group hug to remind ourselves how lucky we are to have each other

bluesatinsash · 27/03/2010 12:18

oooh curly - so of you getting ot the hairdressers . Well done for mammoth catch up - you'll need to lie down when you get in (minding the hair of course ).

Moon - sorry I had you worried last night, I feel about my post, I was obviously feeling a little sensitive last night, and I'd only had one glass of wine !!. Enjoy your party tonight x

neekostillhere!! - DH and DS1 out getting new anti-colic granules. I'm having a bacon roll instead of my cereal but that's my usual Saturday treat in the blue house . May look into lactose free milk... Need to re-think introducing formula for late evening feed, can you get lactose free formula ?

Better dash, DH and DS1 have returned, let the mayhem commence .

Love to all x

CurlyBigPants · 27/03/2010 12:09

My hair is sooo fab

CurlyBigPants · 27/03/2010 12:04

4ever you poor love. I've just been Reading what you've been through. Hang in there honey. It will all be worth it when your beautiful little girl arrives
