big hugs and get well soon to mls and vj xx

CurlyBigPants · 02/04/2010 20:18

monkey I'm so heartbroken for you my lovely. I can't believe how brave you are, I just wish I could give you a huge hug. Here's my hand to hold. I think we'll all gather in the greenhouse till Tuesday so that you are not alone - not even for one minute xxx

bluesatinsash · 02/04/2010 20:04

Monkey no words can express how I feel for you and your DH, and you are amazing to be even able to come and type on here. Are you going to name your lost lo ? Will you know the gender ? Oh this is just too too awful....

If it is any comfort my friend had to deliver at 21 weeks due to lo being incompatable with life. It was the single worst day of her life but she has gone on to have two DC so there is light however tiny...

MLS - really hope everything is OK with you

God life can be shit

MLS hoping that it is a false alarm and you are home and well again soon

QuestionsAnswered · 02/04/2010 18:29

monkey although I am new to emmsys, I am so incredibly sad for you, it is truly a living nightmare for you at the moment. It really is too cruel for words, especially after all you have been through before this. I hope you have a strong support network in RL and that when you feel able to, you can offload here.

BlueMoon1981 · 02/04/2010 18:07

omg monkey how awful for you, you are being so very brave, i wish i could say something to help but im afraid i cant. remember we are here with you all the way xx

monkeybumsmum · 02/04/2010 17:58

Thanks everyone - can't quite believe it at the moment, feel like I'm in some kind of nightmare and just desperately want to wake up. The doctor was really nice on the phone and said it's just incredibly bad luck, and not related at all to any past miscarriages.
Due to the bleak outlook we are going in on Tuesday and basically (can't believe I'm writing this) I'm going to be induced. Much as I begged on the phone apparently the baby is too big for me to have a d&c. She said I can have an epidural if I need one. I think even though we've been through terrible times, the worst is yet to come. I can't imagine many things more traumatic than what we have to do next week Hope I haven't upset anyone by writing this...

I also wanted to say to MLS that firstly I hope you feel better soon, and secondly I think it's high time you moved into bigpants - I shall be willing you on all the way for the rest of your pregnancy x

Right, better go before I dissolve in a heap, thanks again for all your support, esp the txts I've been getting from you both Gracie and 4ever It really does help to know I'm not alone...

BlueMoon1981 · 02/04/2010 17:18

oh monkey i am so sorry, sending you huge hugs xx

and mls sorry about your news too, heres hoping you will be feeling much better soon, hugs for you too xx

neeko beautiful baby hannah

Neeko · 02/04/2010 16:52

Monkey So sorry to hear your news It goes without saying that if there's anything we can do. You have our numbers and emails and everything. Sending you love and strength to endure the times to come.

loueytbg · 02/04/2010 16:47

I'm so so sorry monkey, life is so terrible sometimes. I was really hoping that the markers didn't come to anything . I know there isn't anything I can say to make you feel better. We are all here when you feel up to talking.

Dreadful news about MLS too. Hope things get better soon.

Thanks for updating neeko and Gracie. Will have a peek at pic of Hannah later x

GracieGirl · 02/04/2010 16:36

Just heard from Monkey. its bad news her baby has bad chromosomal problems and isn't going to survive. I'm so so very sorry Monkey.

Neeko · 02/04/2010 16:32

Hi all.
Any news on Monkey? MLS has gone to hospital with suspected blood clot on lung

Sorry to hear so many of you are struggling. Sending lots of mini eggs and hugs your way. Apologies for no constructive advice.

Have posted a picture of DD2 who is now waking. Must go. Take care all xx

loueytbg · 02/04/2010 15:32

Poor vjay your back pain sounds horrible. I'm glad the stronger painkillers are working. Can you get DH too do more of the chores to give your back a break?? I know bathtime was particularly hard when mine was at it's worst.

MLS how are you feeling today???

Gracie I think you're right. It did start after I went swimming. I haven't got a temp and I feel ok so I will just ride it out. EPU is shut as it's a bank holiday.

QA I think eating chocolate is a very sensible plan I've eaten more chocolate in the last week than
in the whole of last year. It has helped a bit xx

curly hope you have a good weekend at the in-laws

Anyone heard from monkey?

Have just been to return more maternity clothes. It's never ending . But last dose of antibiotics tonight (hooray). Happy Easter all x

VJay · 02/04/2010 11:01

Morning lovelies and Hapyy World Autism Awareness Day

Well remembered blue, and good luck with the bottle feeding. I totally feel your emotions over this I really do, but I have found that once I saw how much Ajay is enjoying his bottle then the emotions fade. The last 3 nights he has slept through, so I am wishing that for you too

Welcome neeko and Hannah, she sounds gorgeoues and can't wait to see pictures

QA I echo what all the others have said on here, just remember to take small steps and take each day as it comes.

The sun is shining here today so I have stripped all three beds and got all the washing out. My back is very bad, I was even crying yesterday , but the doctor has now put me on even stronger painkillers and they are working a treat, I even fell asleep yesterday afternoon, good job dh was at home.

Big waves to everyone , love the bunnies

Hello Curly and QA. Where is jools hiding lately?

GracieGirl · 02/04/2010 09:57

Louey the increased bleeding can be normal if you've rested all week then started walking/swimming/exercising as blood may have pooled inside you then all come out in one day. This happened to me and can be ok as long as you don't have a raised temp too. I would ring your EPU to make sure.

GracieGirl · 02/04/2010 09:50

Thinking of Monkey today.

MLS the big bunnies were april fools from MN, they disappeared at 12 noon.

QuestionsAnswered · 02/04/2010 08:03

That should be an extra obviously!

QuestionsAnswered · 02/04/2010 08:01

Thanks everyone for your kind words, they have really helped me to feel that it is ok to feel a bit low. Am not too bad really, am just not used to it.Some really good advice too.

Have got some lovely things planned over the weekend mainly eating chocolate

moon your list is coming together well, told you there would be an influx of wedding links, love those cars gracie! MLS Hopefully by today you are feeling much better and the antibiotics have kicked in now, you really don't need the extra worry. I saw the bunny too!!!!! That must seem random to people who didn't see it ya know!

neeko am impressed you have been back on and I think Hannah is a lovely name.

louey Not sure about the bleeding, agree with curly, I would give the epu a call just to reassure yourself.

mermaid we need details, where did you elope to?!

lbm wine.champagne taster? That might be hard work for one person to do all by them self, think you will need some assistants

blue up 4 times in the night is enough to make you tearful in Boots at the best of times Have you tried the FF feed yet, hope it's gone ok.

monkey Really hope today brings you better news, thinking of you.

Big hello to everyone else and an extra =esmile] as it is is Good Friday.

Big hello to everyone else

CurlyBigPants · 02/04/2010 07:04

moon I'm so excited at all the talk of your wedding. I am picturing the dress in mamma Mia for you... Totally gorgeous I'm also delighted to hear that you're classiness is not necessarily required so I can go ahead and book the pink limos and organise the t shirts for everyone

hope you are feeling better Mls. kidney infections are nasty but I'm sure you are on the road to recovery. Take good care of you and bump. And yes I sw the bunny too i thought I was losing the plot so pretended it wasn't there

Neeko it's great to see you back but we won't expect too much for the next few weeks!! She will keep you busy I'm so happy for you honey

Lbm sign me up for that trip to France for the wine tasting [Grin]

Blue I loved your post. Lol at goolies nearly socking you in the face. Pls don't worry about the ff being the end of breastfeeding. We've had curlygirl on one aptimil at 11pm since the beginning as she lost too much weight and then we found that it worked! She loves it, her dad loves feeding her while I get to bed earlier and the breastfeeding is going great two months on

Gracie big hugs and snuggles to sweet Isabelle after her jabs

louey after my erpc they left a bit behind which came away a couple of days later. As you had an infection though i would give the epu a call just in case. Hope the neck feels better soon xxx

big hugs to qa and anyone who needs them. We are heading to my parents for the weekend in a xcouple of hours so just want to wish everyone a lovely chocolicious Easter

BlueMoon1981 · 01/04/2010 22:46

hi louey im not sure about the bleeding, i know its quite normal to bleed for a couple of weeks afterwards, but dont know about stopping and starting again. hopefully one of the other girls will be along who will know better. big hug xx

loueytbg · 01/04/2010 22:19

x-post

Gracie at the car

loueytbg · 01/04/2010 22:17

Neeko so lovely to hear from you. Hannah is a lovely name (tis on my list ) Hope you are recovering ok and getting used to being a family of 4.

MLS that's pants. So sorry, I've had kidney infections before and they are not fun (and I wasn't pregnant so I can't imagine how awful you're feeling). Hope it clears up very quickly. I'm sure baby MLS will be fine.

QA hugs and a bit of mutual hand holding - also did a HPT today and it was +ve. Bleurgh. But my MC was just over a week ago and I know you have been waiting for a lot longer (see I told you I'm impatient). I am finding the days ok but the nights hard. Everytime I close my eyes when I'm in bed I go back to the scan when we found out and then it all comes flooding back. Must be something to do with the dark. I am finding it easier to talk about it now but I had told more people to begin with.

Blue Poor you, it doesn't sound as though you are getting much sleep. I know its a hard decision to make to introduce bottles, but you need to do what's best for your sanity.

Gracie injections are horrible, much harder on the parents at that stage. Its horrible seeing them stuck with needles. Well done for getting out, you make sure you do it again soon. I'm s firm believer in letting men realise how hard it is looking after children on your own. They can be a bit clueless otherwise.

Moon sounds like the wedding preparations are going full swing. When are you thinking f getting married and what kind of holidays do you like? Will get my thinking cap on Your poor friend, that must be awful but they can do amazing things now.

LBM think you've actually picked the best job. Although I am hoping to be up the duff soon so I wouldn't make a very good wine/champagne taster.

Curly injections too. Poor curlygirl and poor you.

Vjay well done on the studying and not being seduced (too much) by MN Hope the stronger painkillers are working.

4ever good for you girl. Sounds as though your work has behaved very badly and expected you to take it. And if you can function on 3 hours sleep then you will have no problem after baby4ever arrives . Its lovely to hear you so upbeat. Shopping always helps

cupcake hope you are coping with the lack of internet access and all the boxes

Mermaid eloping is sooo romantic

Monkey thinking of you. Let us know once you hear.

Waves to Sabs, MrsKate, PFJ and anyone else I've forgotten. Hope you're all ok.

My head is clear (hooray). The pain is now in my neck (boo) but that is definitely better. I can function with that. Swimming was lovely and I had planned to go again today but I've started bleeding again. I'm going to post a message on the mc boards in a minute but is this normal ? The bleeding had totally stopped and now (TMI) its flooding out again. Otherwise I'm looking forward to finishing my antibiotics tomorrow night so I can have a glass or three of red wine on Saturday night.
