gracie you have got a little poo machine there, that's what I call Ajay, yesterday he did about 5!!!

mermaid I lol at you saying putting Ajay in his sleeping bag to slow him down, because I did, last night As for your fibroids, I think if you feel lots of cramping then that's them.

barbie look forward to you updates re your trip back home

moon good girl

Hiya blue and 4ever and jools and sabs and pfj and qa and louey and everyone else xxx

Need to get Ajay, he's managed to roll his way from the lounge into ds1's bedroom, and it contains LEGO aaarrrgghhhh, oh and we live in a bungalow incase you were wondering

too much pressure must proof read...

BlueMoon1981 · 11/04/2010 16:20

Hello lovely ladies, just been catching up as been busy all weekend.

monkey i'm so pleased you are home, we were all worried for you. it sounds like you had a right old time of it, but you are through the other side, and like 4ever says just take it very slowly, you will feel like you never want to do anything ever again, but gradually you will, and the sun shines a little bit longer and a little bit brighter as the days and weeks go by. you've been so brave and im glad you feel you can come back to let us support you. big hugs xxx

gracie omg at the poo story, but funnily enough it never grosses me out, just makes me realise what i am missing

pfj you dirty stop out good night then?!

louey agree with mermaid dont ever let on to your dh how much you want to ttc again, i think it puts them under too pressure and it makes them wonder if you can cope if it happened again. although if its any consolation, im pretty sure men are attracted to you more when you are ovulating (sub consciously) so chances are he will be desperate to get his hands on you at the crucial time anyway

and all you stealth cheerleaders i hope you werent watching too much over the weekend but dont worry you didnt put either of us off our stride. dont think i'm ovulating yet, any day now, so getting some practice in

lots of love to everyone, just a flying visit for now

Neeko · 11/04/2010 13:22

Hi all. Just had 20 5 mins to skim read and wanted you all to know I'm here.

Monkey Brave lady. so sorry the physical side was so hard but let us help you through the emotional side. i might not be on here as much but am only a text away.

Mermaid Golfers are asreholes! think that about sums it up Big hug lovely lady. oh, and DO drink more water.

4ever Yay to hospital bags! Hope consultant appt went well.

Moon Go girl GO!

MLS's laptop is playing up. She is lurking but can't post. Holding your hand for Tuesday.

Gracie Loving the poo stories. I changed one the other day that just kept on coming so the cotton wool and water had to be abandoned in favour of a massive bag of wipes!

Louey Hope you're feeling better now.

PFJ Good luck wih the stitches.

Barbie Hope you had a great time but are enjoying the heat again.

H has been struggling with wind and giving us the right run around. Her cure is to suck the life out of my boobs at every opportunity but I've reached for the Infacol instead and it seems to be working (fingers crossed)We even had some sleep last night. DD1 has been excellent so far and I'm hoping this is not the calm before the storm. Just waiting on visitors arriving then off to the in-laws for feet up dinner. Can't believe H is 2 weeks old tomorrow and because she was such a big girl, new born clothes are already getting tight

Love to everyone else and apologies for missing people.

mermaidspurse · 11/04/2010 10:05

Good morning from sunny kernow

monkey I am very relieved that you are home and glad that the hospital looked after you so well it makes a huge difference on coping and begining the process of repair and healing.
It is more than any family should have to go through my thoughts as always to all of you lovely lady. I am looking forward to a point when we can both maybe nag each other to drink more water.xxxx

louey who else has hours to fill playing golf? well apart from second hand car dealers and chav builders that is - my rmc consultant loves his golf and he is not my favourate person - and breathe.

Your dh is freaked and scared, really our poor men folk need their own mans net. Keep talking. The crucial thing and I think most of the long timers on this thread will agree is dont let him know you are breathing/thinking making babies. Act nonchalant, you might make love to him in a bit if you can be bothered kindda of thing. On no account let him see your chemistry set of sticks from hell and testing kits

barbie I expect you have been in a whirlwind of rellys and friends all desperate to have cuddles with that gorgeous devon hope you have had a lovely time and that your dhs mum has enjoyed every moment spent looking at her, poor lady.x

lbm small and neat after 2dc, well done you It always startles me how many women as we sadly know have had a mc. It is affirming to hear good news stories. Its lovely to hear you getting ready, are you going to open a sling shop?

4ever I am hoping you got nearly a full nights sleep. You are going to have to start on that disgusting tea soon you know

Thinking about having a bbq on the beach maybe later, time to dig out the flip flops and windbreak

gracie hope you are sitting in a deck chair watching your in -laws toil

mls please check in

moon you know I am lurking glowing in the dark with me perma tan and ra-ra skirt dontcha

curly Is that colic easing, I sure hope so poor curlygirl, big kiss for her.x

vjay I think I get discomfort from the fibroids now and again but am in general confused! is your back simmering down now. Keep ajay in a sleeping bag it may slow him down!

blue courgettes yes I may try those this year too. As I was typing that the radio announced that Scotland is leading the country in the sunshine stakes today

pfb how is the head you rock chick babe? very impressed hope it did you the world of good.

Right no doubt I have cross posted with everyone as usual, pancakes.

littlebellsmum · 10/04/2010 21:59

Good evening ladies - and I hope the sun has shone where ever you are? We have most definatly been in sunny surrey recently - was most of my dh who had Thursday pm off with the DC's in the sun.

So, a quick catch up - monkey lovely to see you back. It seems so unfair that you had to go through so much physical pain as well as the mental. Well done for being brave enough to see your angel boy - he was real, he did live inside you and now he's off playing with all our LLO's.

ThePFJ Hope those stitches are easing? Happy belated birthday to your little Jack

mermaid thanks for tidying up the greenhouse and I'm with curly - you are not going to be put out to pasture yet! And you are every bit as busy as me!!

blue We are also gardening -DD persuaded me to spend a fortune on seeds at the garden centre and then only wanted to plant the pretty flowers! DS was more into helping - very funny as he very carefully placed the first 5 seeds in every row and then got bored and dumped the rest of the handful in the next space explaining that "But mummy, we'll get a whole bunch of lettuces there now" I didn't have the heart to explain!
My two have a set of child sized tools each (spades, rakes etc) which are really good and mean that sometimes I get to use my own!

Gracie at the inloaws gardening - my mum is coming round in 2 weeks to stay for a week and garden for me - hurrah! We have a good sized, overgrown garden and Mums help is invaluble. Obviusly in my condition, I won't be able to help much, shame! And I loved the poo story! My dd didn't go often but when she did, boy oh boy.

4ever How are you pregnant buddy? The end does feel to be in sight now doesn't it? I've read that once you get past 34 weeks, they are no longer classed as premmie but pre term as their lungs are completly developed.

MLS Another lady who doesn't deserve bad thigs happening. Hope this week brings better news

louey I've also forgotten why we call Mermaids doc the golfer! I'm sure DH will come round on the ttc part - he's probably not wanting to see you hurt again if you mc.

So, what has been happening in the world of LBM - lots as ever! Still trying to do the million and one jobs I want to get finished before babybelle arrives and we really need to start working on a name for her. Only 3 more weeks left at work - hurrah!!

I'm still carrying very high and neat, which sounds great but yesterday, she was pressing on my lungs and I was finding it hard to breathe. I'm also enjoying lunchtime naps on my days off - I really can't wait to fiish work. The loft is full of baby things, incluiding now three slings and I am thinking about packing a hospital bag soon.

And to finish on a note of hope for those in small pants - I met up with my new antenatal freinds for coffee on Friday and we were just discussing local midwifes. I mentioned that the one I met had 5 mc's between her children and the two ladies I was with both said that they had had mc's. One had had 4 mc's before concieving the LO she is now carrying, after having her dd with no problems. Unsuprisingly, she said that she can't really believe that this is happening . So, as we say all the time - it will happen for all of us, we just need to keep on believing.

4everhopeful · 10/04/2010 20:28

Monkey sweetheart, it was an honour to feel able to help in the smallest way.. If i can draw a positive out of some of my experiences its to be able to help another... What u have been through is absolutely inconceivable & u are so much stronger than u even realise right now.. Im so glad u got to spend some time with ur tiny angel son, & that u got to do his footprints, it will mean alot to be able to have those memories of him in the months to come... As i said, just take it hour by hour, they will eventually turn into days.. For now, rest rest & rest to at least start to physically heal from the trauma your body has been through.. Hold DH tight as he will feel so helpless watching you suffer, on top of his own grief, the poor man.. Hugs & hairstrokes to you x x x x x

bluesatinsash · 10/04/2010 20:11

Monkey you sound so strong my lovely, how you got through it all I can't even begin to imagine but you did and got to share some precious moments with your DS2 before he went up to join the others looking down on us all.

Courie-in (as they say up here in Scotland)and we will see you through to sunnier times xx

Huge waves to everyone else especially our MIA girl barbie .

barbie1 · 10/04/2010 19:11

CurlyBigPants · 10/04/2010 15:45

monkey welcome back hon. Come in out of the cold and tuck into the haagen daz and mini-eggs. I'm sorry it was so horrible and painful but glad you got to meet your little angel xxx

back later to catch up properly xxx

GracieGirl · 10/04/2010 15:14

Oh I forgot - todays Poo story to scare 4ever . I've taken to feeding lying down in bed in the mornings when I can't be bothered to sit up and I lie Isabelle down on a towel and a few muslin squares in case of messy eating. Well this morning she did an almighty fart and pooed through the nappy, vest, babygrow, 2 muslin squares, and towel and it soaked through my bed sheets and on to my mattress protector! Yuk! I've never seen so much poo in all my life!

GracieGirl · 10/04/2010 15:09

Hello Monkey its nice to have you back. Good to hear you were treated well in hospital. Tuck in to our icecream and mini eggs.

I've got my in-laws round doing some slave labour gardening! Well they did offer to help! They've done 6 hours work so far today with my DH whilst I cuddle and feed Isabelle.

loueytbg · 10/04/2010 14:46

Monkey I've just seen your post. I'm so so sorry it was so painful and you are still suffering. Hope the physical side improves soon. Lots of mini-eggs and haagen dagz (can't spell it!) coming your way xxxxx

loueytbg · 10/04/2010 14:43

Hello! Will try and do some quick personals while DTs are asleep....

Curly your story gives me hope that the clot will come out by itself. Did you know by the time you went back for the scan that it had all gone?

Moon hope you are enjoying a BDing fest (not that we've got all our hopes pinned on you or anything )

MLS how are you? hope you are feeling better now and that next week brings you good news (hugs)

pfjtherockchick hope the hangover has subsided. Sounded like fun! I have lots of experience with speech therapists unfortunately because DS1 has global developmental delay and a speech delay (or possibly disorder, we're not sure yet). It sounds as though your Jack understands everything (which DS1 didn't at 2) and is trying to communicate in other ways which are all good signs. DS1 only started to point in the last 2 months. As blue says, Jack will probably just be a slightly late talker. Does he imitate animal sounds? That often comes before speech? It is worth adding to what Curly said, there are long waiting lists for speech therapy in most areas so it could take you 6-12 months to see anyone in the NHS and even then what you are offered may be pitiful. I would probably not wait until he was 2.5 to get referred if he has no single words in the next 2-3 months.

Neeko how are you and Hannah getting on. Hope you are managing to get some sleep and your boobs are coping x

Cupcake well done on getting the house organised so quickly

Gracie glad that isabelle's conjunctivitis has cleared up

Sabs belated happy birthday . I hope you had a good day despite all the sad news this week.

Vjay I'm very glad your back is feeling better. Unfortunately, your Ajay will carry on doing things whether or not you are ready for it...I do sympathise with you though. Loved the phase when they could sit up but not move, after that, all hell broke loose

4ever well done for you packing bags. Not long now

mermaid I envy your green fingers. Mine seem to kill things on sight. Its a standing joke that I can't keep a plant alive. Forgive my ignorance but what is a golfer (I assume you are not talking about the Tiger Woods variety??)

blue very sweet to get DS1 to help you with the vegetable patch.

Monkey have been thinking of you. I hope you are resting at home and have lots of support around you ((((hugs))))

Waves hello to Annie, Baking, Buddha, Iggy littlebells QA and anyone else I've forgotten (sorry!)

Must go and get the boys up otherwise they won't sleep tonight. Will post later with my news but the headline is that DH is being an arse about TTC again .

monkeybumsmum · 10/04/2010 14:42

Hi everyone,
Am finally feeling strong enough to sit in front of the computer, and have just read through all your posts. The tears are streaming down my face, and I just cannot thank you all enough for the constant support you have given me through this horrific time. Words just don't seem enough... To know that you were all thinking of dh and I while we were at the hospital, and that you were sending us strength means so much. 4ever I've already said this to you I know, but I especially want to thank you for having been an absolute rock and for always being there for me. Getting your texts when I was in hospital really picked me up, and I just thank you from the bottom of my heart xxx

I'm not really sure whether to share details or not, with it being such an upsetting situation, but suffice to say that the labour was awful and seemingly neverending, and that I was in the worst pain I have ever experienced. Had no choice but to have an epidural in the end as was all just too much and I couldn't bear it. I did manage to spend some time with our tiny boy, and I'm so glad I did. I hope somewhere up there he knows how much he was desperately wanted, and how much he was loved. The lovely midwife managed to do his footprints, but dh and I are not strong enough to look yet.
All the staff in the hospital could not have been lovelier, and they somehow managed to get us through it.

Am feeling very sore now, and have been so stiff that yesterday I was hardly able to move. Bit better today, but lost loads of blood too so very weak and dizzy. I think now is the perfect time to be digging into the haagen-dazs and wolfing down the mini-eggs please!!!

You have all been so wonderful over the last few days but it made me feel a bit bad to see that normal activity on this thread has slowed... Life goes on, as we all know, and it'll be wonderful to celebrate things again such as your birthday Sabs Happy Birthday and thanks for the cake it was yummy . There are going to be so many wonderful things happening in the future, hopefully for all of us. As you so wisely said Blue the sun WILL shine again.

Am off to lie down again now, but am sending each of you the biggest tightest hug I can muster, and my eternal thanks for getting me through this. It would have been even worse without you all willing me on...
Lots of love and will be back soon xxx

Where is everyone?
monkey hope you are being looked after well and are doing ok

OP posts:
VJay · 09/04/2010 17:25

Hi pfj have fun at your rock club tonight, make sure you tell us all about it tomorrow. Happy birthday to little Jack too, it sounds like he had a fab birthday , as for late talking, mention it to your health visitor/gp, it does no harm to get the ball rolling

mermaid do the fibroids give you any pain day to day, if so then surely they must remove them. It can make it difficult to conceive with them, but not impossible. It's so good to see you back on here, you have been missed

blue you do sound busy with your veg patch, and so cute ds1 having his own wee trowel. You should get him to plant a sunflower, then see how excited he gets by how tall it grows, my ds1 still loves doing that, though he brings them home from school, I'm a bit crap at all that, though I did grow some cucumbers last year

moon we are silently cheering you on

BIG hair strokes for monkey

Right gotta go tis bathtime for the boys, am going to dunk them in together, will be back later xx

OP posts:
ThePFJ · 09/04/2010 16:21

Well I am being dragged out for a night at a rock club... I haven't been to a night club in erm... 1,2,5...more.. years... so this should be fairly amusing!! (I'll try to look as cool as possible... ahahahaha hurhurhur ahem choke)

I won't be back until late tommorrow.

Have a good weekend all... hope you are doing ok QuestionsAnswered are your hormone levels back to normal now? I can't remember if you mentioned it?! (sorry babes)

Hugs, kisses and minieggs to you girls. xxx

bluesatinsash · 09/04/2010 14:35

aw shucks PFJ. Your DS is super adorable too

ThePFJ · 09/04/2010 14:27

bluesatinsash - I love your pictures!!

bluesatinsash · 09/04/2010 14:15

I was obviously off sick the day we got how to spell vegetables at school

X-post with mermaid and curly - hi guys!! Curly - how is curlygirl's colic?

bluesatinsash · 09/04/2010 14:12

Monkey - I truly hope you are being wrapped in double thick cotton wool and taking strength from your gorgeous adorable DS, DH and DDad. One day at a time, one tiny step at a time. The sun will come out again xx

Hi PFJ and happy birthday Jack . Please don't worry about his speech, my DS1 had only three words on his 2nd birthday - Mummy, juice and dog. His non verbal was fantastic and he could understand quite complicated instruction (i.e. "Please get Mummy's towel off radiator and bring it to me in the shower").

He was seen at 3 by Speech Therapist and was discharged with reassurance that boys just take longer to talk. He is now nearly 4 and talks for Scotland!

Sorry to hear your stiches haven't dissolved yet.. And you feeling thinking about the little brother/sister for Jack but it will happen just keep fighting the good fight.

Mermaid - lovely lady good to see you . Hope your counselling helps you come up with a new PLAN, Being listened too is so good for the soul. I'm going to be planting courgettes, tomoatoes and pototoes in the Blue vegetable patch. DS1 seems very keen and have bought him a mini trowel etc. but we'll see how long his interest is kept once he's toiling with me and would rather be on his swing!

Moon we will be stealth ninja cheerleaders so as not to distract ...

mermaidspurse · 09/04/2010 14:10

x post cos I went off and ate a toastie and sat in the sun. curly thanks for being angry for me you and 4ever should really be the new A team.
