Hi everybody,
I just wanted to chat to anybody who has recently ovulated and is now having to wait to find out if they are expecting or not.
This is my first month ttc since i lost my first son who was stillborn in may.
I am desperate to be pregnant again,not to replace my little boy,but to be back on that path i was following,and nearly at the end of
I was fertile between last wednesday and sunday just gone,my poor dh has been on demand for nearly two weeks!(bless him!)
We're so ready to do this again,i just hope it doesn't take too long(fingers crossed!)

Shelly it is your first month of trying. Dont get too despondent yet, it hasnt arrived yet. Cramps are common eaarly pg, i know i get them. Fingers crossed.

Do you know anything about temps. Do they stay raised untill your af comes or do they stay raised if you are og?

Think AF is on the way! Have lower tummy cramps and feelng abit bloated!
It may just all be in my head,but i can't help being negative today!

Hello to strike and toothache,really gd to hear your stories too!
So from what your saying i could potentially test in the next couple of days!? i wonder if i could hold out until AFTER sunday!??(nah!probably not!)
OH,i'm REALLY having an up ad down day today..have been intouch with sands this morning because i wanted to know my rights on returning back to work pregnant! i'm on maternity leave until end of october,was entitled to maternity leave because rhys was stillborn at 33wks(the usual 26wks).But wanted to know if i was entitled to up to a year if i needed to(am a nursery nurse,and right now REALLY can't handle the thought of going back to work to look after OTHER peoples babies )
Their getting back to me later to let me know,had a really nice chat actually...am not one for councelling i'm afraid!(I'm too stubborn!!)But they were really nice and made me feel abit better,but at the same time churned up emotions over loosing Rhys,and i ended up having alittle cry
Oh girls,i really want to be pregnant this month,i really want to have that feeling again,and be able to bring a healthy baby home,a little brother or sister from Rhys,a baby who can share his nursery we prepared for him
I try not to let it get to me so much,but its so so hard sometimes!
Having you to chat to REALLY helps me...thank you so much for being there.x.x
I'm like you maddyd,i'm not gonna tell anyone when i do get preg,except for you lot,who know how i feel and help me through

See I'm not really sure. I've never had a regular cycle. So 28 dpo is Saturday but I think my cycle is longer than that. 32 dpo (which it's been before is next Wednesday! So even with early tests and 4 days before 28 (which is bound to be too early) I have to wait till Thursday. I was please when AF arrive only 5 weeks after my erpc because it meant my system was firing again.

Hey Maddyd, Shelly and Toothache, Don't want to butt in, be the waiting is driving me mad as well! Can't test (although I have to no avail) till the weekend, but think I might try thursday just in case. Why isn't there a way of knowing sooner. I swear I have symptoms that I couldn't possibly have this early, but if you can have sypmtoms then why not a bfp? Like you said Maddyd, just keep busy and don't dwell...hmmm

Right i must keep busy today so i dont obsess about it. What a nightmare all this is. Even if i am i gotta wait and hope it sticks this time. If i am i will need all my mn friends to keep me going as i dont intend teling a soul till im at least 16weeks

MaddyD - I even took mine to the Nurse as I was due a smear the next day!! Nurse said "Eh.... its negative!" She must've thought I was mental when I said "NO! LOOOOOOOK CLOSER!!!". So she did, and then said "Oh I think you're right.... wait until your period is due then test again" Then she added with a "I don't think your period will arrive".

Toothach i keep looking at it. i can oly see it in certain light. Im sure its just my imagibation. Ill test agin in the morning.

My faint positive was 5 days before my AF was due.... and I used Boots own brand (which I believe are on offer at the moment ).

You can do an early response test Shelly 4 days before your period.

Shelly yes thats right 9 days past ovulation. How you doing? Did your tests come yet? Im sure you would have said if had.

Tootache you are so good with words. What you have written is so right. Shelly is an insperation to us all. Bless her. Where does she find her strength???

Just read your messages....where have i been!!!!
I'm so excited for you maddyd...it could be a BFP!!
Are you testing again today?Can you explain to me all these abreaveiations people use!?Feel abit silly for asking what is dpo?is it the days you count from the day you ovulated to the day your next period is due?
My AF is due on sunday 31st,so when is the earliest i could test?
When i got pregnant before a whole month went by after i missed a AF,before i tested!!thats how laid back i was before! Funny how things change a person huh!!!?

MaddyD - I got a very faint line at 9DPO with dd. I didn't see it until I fished it out the bin about half an hour (and 2 glasses of wine) later!

GOOD LUCK ALL OF YOU!!! I'm not ttc, but I follow all your journeys and get all excited when it's time for someone to test!!!!!

Shelly24 - I have so much admiration for the strength that anyone finds when they lose a baby, especially when so far in the pregnancy most of us start to relax. I really hope it happens for you nice and quickly.

Shelly i tested this morning, im 9p0 and the test said to do it earliest 10dpo but what the beck.

Anyway i got a faiint post BUT WAIT i read it after 10 mins as had to sort out a tea spillage so think is an evap line again. I will re test tomorow. How are you, have yours come???

i think there are things but the just think its my imagination. deep down i think i am, but saying that i have been posotive i was before and wasnt. We will see. Im doing an early test tomorrow morning. Will be 9po then?

Morning Shelly. Sorry i missed you last night. Im not often on late in the evenings. It depends how much work i have on. We spent the weekend gardeneing in the rain. Got drenced on Sunday and just as we finished the sun came out and was a lovely afternoon. Typical. I ache so much. Think thats why my scar aches. I feel sick as so tired. Dont think im pregnant but we will see. it would be nice and would be born on my other halfs birthday which would be lovely.

Sorry you had a bad day. It happens so go with it and cry and grieve. i really feel for you and Diddle and lottielou, all lost your first child, its so unfaie and out of everyone its you three that i root for.

i often find myself in tears for no apparent reason but i feel better afterwards. I was really upset sat morning when a work friend annouced preganancy with twins. I felt so bad and jelous and then guilty for not being as happy as she was for her iyswim. I am happy for her but it knocked the stuffing out of me. I just felt so deflated and that life is so unfair.

I then chatised my self when i got home for being selfish. I have lovely children and am very lucky.

Soz i haven't got bk to you sooner,have kept myself mega busy this wkend!! Was out most f yesterday and today!Had acouple of drinks aswell(although feeling slightly guilty for having them in case i am preg!)But at the same time its taken my mind off things and i've been able to relax and have a gd time,without lookig out for every little sign that i'm preg.
How has your wkend been?I bet your little one keeps you busy huh!? In a way i guess that helps keep your mind busy too !
I'd find this whole situation a lot easier if i hadn't experienced loosing my first, know its not easy when you loose a baby at anytime,but just think sometimes that i would't be fit to be a mother and thats why i wasn't given a cance with Rhys Mayb if i had a child before all this happened then it wouldn't be so bad!?Oh i don't know!...i can be so up and down sometimes,just a few hours ago i was laughing away with my friends,and now i feel like the whole worlds against me!
As far as preg signs go for today,i don't feel preg atall! Afew cramps still but they are hardly there atall,its just in my head i reckon,i don't feel sick or overly tired or anything!Could it be too early to feel any symtoms anyway?Oh i don't know!!
I'm wondering whether or not you'll get this tonight or not?Depends if your little ones worn you out i guess
Write bk when you can,let me know how things are with you.x.
