I am so pleased for you - just goes to show that its worth waiting to test (i really really should follow my own advice) i did get another very faint line on an internet cheapy test half an hour ago but i reckon its still too early to use FR as these are supposed to be 10miu and they are still very faint.

RaceyLacey im really spotty at the moment too i dont think that it matters - i have AF twinges too but it was the same in all my pgs tbh.

Preseed is vaginal lubricant that is supposed to be sperm friendly. I read about it a while ago and lots of people have said how quickly they got pg using it. Basically i dont need lubricant but also dont seem to get significant ewcm either so i was worried that perhaps even if i was ovulating that the swimmers wouldnt be able to get to where they needed to if the environment wasnt friendly enough for them iyswim? Anyway it comes in a tube with applicators to insert pre having sex and you cant really tell when you are using it (maybe a bit more smooth shall we say though have a look into it online there is loads of info.

I think this month's going to be out for me, loads of spots have come up today which is a surefire sign that af will be putting in an appearance in a week - 10 days.

I have just come to that conclusion myself digitalgirl and feel really silly that I didn't think it before!! CM now has gone more creamy so think I might have ovulated over the weekend sometime and am truly pissed off at the fact that there was no BD'ing

I say this after getting cramps on cd27 & cd28 this cycle thinking it might be implantation. I'm now cd43, approx 14dpo. Just glad we swi over those days.

mrswaj perhaps you're actually ovulating right now. You said you had copious amounts of ewcm at the mo. I have often mistaken cramping to mean implantation or period due but then when my period has turned up two weeks after cramping (with many bfn's in between) I've realised that I misread the signs. Now I always swi whenever I get ewcm just in case.

Well, AF was due either yesterday or today, plus I am at work, so maybe not the best time to test! Will prob do it when I get home, although holding my wee is difficult coz I keep checking to see if AF has started!

Cazzr i got mine on ebay from babydays_2007 they did a tube of preseed for 12.99 and 2.95 for postage - it was the cheapest i could find. Got to say i kept forgetting to put it in when DH and i were 'getting it on' but nipped off to the loo did the deed and if you use it internally it isnt too er 'luby'

Last month i didnt get a positive opk or use the preseed at all and it was our first month trying, but we stopped even SWI'ing at about day 15 tbh as i ran out of opk sticks (had begun testing too early) and hadnt gotten a postive. This month left nothing to chance and got DH to let the boys out of the barracks once a day, used the opks and used the preseed - it was all a pain in the arse (not to mention extreme boredom with SWI by day five of it) but worth attacking on all angles when your an old bint like me

Giggling to myself that with evening primrose oil and preseed by EWCM might be so abundant that Dh might slip off my like a pengiun off an ice slope!

Well i can recommend them as they tallied exactly with the clearblue smileyface i got last Sunday - the seller is on ebay called fertilityplan (sorry i dont know how to link) and they sell these in packs of 10 for 4.99 plus 2.00 postage just type in '10 midstream ovulation fertility tests' and they should come up. Can i just say get the midstream tests not the strips (you know the ones encased in plastic) because i also used the strips and they were crap - could never get a strong second line even though the CB had a and the midstream ones had a really strong second line.

Also i dont know if you thought about trying preseed too? I did for the first time this month as my ecwm is rubbish, i thought i would try it as i had heard so many good things about it, looks like it might have worked. I think that between the CB digi ovulation tests, the internet opks and the preseed i spent about 37.00 on ebay this month.

Congrats Rosie, sounds pretty conclusive. Question for you, where did you get your OPK's from?
Going all out this month with evening primrose/multivits, super healthy diet etc but thought I might try opk's too even tho I usually get ov pains (not last month, maybe that should have been a sign to me?!).
Just not sure if the ov pains are during ov or post ov and think the opk's might help me understand...

Still feeling pretty low and getting annoyed that I can't be rational about this whole ttc lark. Just trying to plan ahead for this cycle in an effort to feel better.

MrsWajs - good luck for this afternoon - will check back in and see how you are doing i really hope your missing AF is in actual fact a BFP. I am not due AF till this Saturday so its super duper early - its always a bit scary finding out this early but hey its supposed to be a happy time so im going to stay happy unless i find out otherwise

The weird thing is is that with DD2 I took ages to get a positive, i was waaaayyy over my due AF time and i had gone to the family planning clinc to talk about getting a coil fitted - they did a 'just in case' test and there it was. Im sure i was about two weeks late and had done shedloads of tests but nothing. I think the hcg was very low in the beginning of that pg as i had a fair bit of bleeding and went for a scan at 7 weeks and they said they could see a fair bit of bleeding around her and to just wait and see - she was a lucky one though and she is nearly 15 now. It just goes to show that even if you are late you just dont know.

Totally, my FR that i took last night was negative too, how late are you?

Oh can I just ask as well are you 'late' as such or was this early testing??

Ok couldnt hold till lunchtime so dipped an internet cheapie 10 miu just now and i got a line within two mins (no mistaking) didnt save the sample so didnt check it with FR but not really bothered as a third bfp is pretty conclusive even if i didnt get a positive in the middle of the night. The line is really clear and obvious so fingers crossed this stays sticky. Dont think i will tempt fate and test again for a couple of days (will bring out the big guns then lol - FR and clearblue digi!) am happy with the third line this morning - just goes to show about wee concentration though and differing tests doesnt it?

I thought 5 hours would have been long enough?? I know some nights that is all I get anyway so it would have to do!! My FR was th negative one which I was pretty stumped by as it's meant to be the most sensitive, so gonna do a cheapy one this avo once I get up (nightshift again) and see what's what. Fully expecting it to be negative tho. Would just really like to know where my AF has gone tho????? Trying to un-convince myself that maybe I'm having an EP and other such silly thoughts!!!

Well i might have spoken too soon ( i cant see how though) woke up at 4am and just couldnt get back to sleep as needed the loo so badly. Did two htps (not FR though) and both negative Mind you i only held it for about 5 hours and i had been drinking a little bit before bed.

I am going to try and wait until midday so that i have held it in for at least 8 hours again and retest. I just dont see how i could have gotten two positives though if i am not pg. I dont really want to use the FR until i get a positive on the other ones again. Its just a waiting game i suppose. Good luck to anyone else if they are testing today

Totally I too appear to be having copious amounts of what i think is EWCM but I'm pretty sure it's not from Ov'ing since that was ages ago!

Sounds like you ovulated before me Totally so test again like you said tomorrow, Im sure it cant be good for you but i literally didnt have time to drink today and my sample was soooo concentrated so i will keep it all crossed for you and your testing tomorrow. I wouldnt be the poas addict that i am unless i used up all my hpts lol - i have 4 FR to have some fun with over the next few days.
