NO TESTING BEFORE 14DPO, its for your own good!

Thank you! I went a bit dizzy last night with the urge but have resisted so far.

I have PCOS, we have been trying for over 12 months but in a half-hearted way (ie not timing when we SWI at all and just doing it when we wanted, couldn't even call it SWI really ) and that didn't work so three months ago we started trying 'properly'. I was pregant last month but mc at 5 and a half weeks. Started trying again straight away and on cd27 now but no real idea what my cycle length is. I suppose they are regular in that they can be between 28-40 days, not bad with PCOS! Last few months have all been under 35 days.

I never believed I could get pregnant naturally so now I am very obsessed as I don't want to go through any treatment if I can help it. I have had all the tests as has OH and I need to lose weight if we progress further with Clomid or IVF so I am working on that too.

Fingers crossed

I am so glad you posted this! I can't stop thinking about testing, it is like an urge - terrible. It doesn't help that I have a lovely Clearblue Digital sitting in the drawer just waiting.

I have PCOS so not sure where I am and I had a mc last month so I need to wait until at least Sunday. It seems like so long away and I have every imaginary symptom going

Cozie · 03/03/2010 21:43

I'd af not by sun which would be 2 days over I'll try again

Love n hugs xx

whoops · 03/03/2010 21:19

Just worked out who you are Queen, good luck to you hope things work out for you now you've had a break

Wholelottalove · 03/03/2010 21:19

Hey, yeah course you can - ooh a nickname of a nickname, I'm loving it

I had several BFNs over several cycles when TTC no 1 and I remember that sinking feeling so well. I promised I wouldn't put myself through it this time, but it is so tempting. It is a waste of ££ really - and the heartbreak if AF then comes when you've had a positive test.

So, I need to hold out another 3 days if no AF and then can get the sticks out...

queenoftheslatterns · 03/03/2010 21:12

hello cozie and wholelottalove, welcome to the nontesting thread (and thank you for your kind words.

WLL (may i call you that?) step away! seriously, there is nothing better than seeing a big FAT positive. its great!

Lucy... Found you babe x

queen, bless you I have only experienced one tenth of your pain, hugs x

Wholelottalove · 03/03/2010 21:09

Thank you for this thread! I'm sorry to hear you've had such a rough time. I have a packet of first response in the top cupboard and I am sorely tempted to use one tomorrow morning, but went through that craziness last month and also when TTC DD. Have to say, not an awful lot of SWI this month was had, but I do have sore boobs which is making me wonder...

I'm only on cycle 2 TTC no 2, but one problem is I have no idea what my cycle length is. I think I was ov on 19th or 20th which would put me at about 11 days PO - so I guess I need to hold out.

lol there do seem to be a lot of pro-pee-ers!

we have been ttc for 4.5y and had 10 mc's and 1 ep (lost tube) its made me very sceptical of a lot of old wives tales and helpful tips.

do you have any dc's?
